Steve was very responsive and reliable. He was also flexible as the job changed in scope. He incorporated an electrician and a laborer as the job dictated, but managed them effectively. Based on the other bids I received, his pricing was fair and he finished the job in a timely manner. Good guy.

Steve and his team of 2 others showed up on time. They worked almost non-stop the entire time. They took care of everything, were very professional and cleaned up all the material. Steve even hauled off all the old fixtures. For the amount of work it took(came back the second day)Steve's price was excellent.

Steve Lee was exceptionally responsive over the phone and email. Very polite, professional and knowledgeable. Originally I had him just do the laminate countertop, but decided to give him add'l work which he definitely met the challenge with a positive attitude and very reasonable price. We were cosmetically overhauling the house and was able to do it in a timely manner. He completed the work as specified, there were only a few items off the list of 30+ he forgot to do, but immediately went back to address it. I would definitely recommend him!

Steve stopped by on a Monday to see what we wanted done and scheduled the work for that Thursday. He arrived promptly and immediately started to work. He had estimated that it would take a day but he finished in six hours, which we appreciated. He and his assistant were very thorough and cleaned up after each step of the work.

Excellent response to the work place each day, coordinated availability of areas with the electricians and performed all aspects of the job in a very satisfactory manner. Completed all six project items during the middle of December 2008, taking three days of work to insure all items were done right. Would use again on handyman projects.

The job went fairly smoothly. Quality Handy Man was on time and on budget.

He actually got on the roof to determine the extent of the damage for the initial bid. None of the other handymen climbed the ladder and they all quoted higher prices. He only repaired what needed to be repaired. He was on time and professional.

He had to add to the counter as the sink selected was smaller than the opening. Replaced the laminate countertop and also replaced the plumbing as the new sink was deeper than the old one.

The scheduling was easy to work with and he showed up on time. He explained what was going on, and he did the work that I had set up for him. The quality of his work was great, and he knew what he was doing. I had gotten other quotes from companies, and his his rates were the best.

He came out and looked at the damage. We made a second appointment for him to come back and fix it. He did a miraculous job. He is a fine gentleman to deal with.

It went great! Steve showed up on time each day he did the work. He gave us an estimate for time to completion and followed it to the T. He said it would take 2 - 3 days, and it took 2 1/2 days. He did all the work himself and worked very hard the entire time he was at our house. I waited several months after the work was done to write this review to make sure the cracks wouldn't open back up. We do have one minor crack that has appeared, but you can't see it unless you get very close and it's clearly from settling and temperature changes. I was extremely pleased with the work done by Steve.

Got a few quotes and Steve was the only one who actually climbed up on the ladder to see what was rotten and needed to be replaced. All the others stood on the ground and wanted to replace the entire siding which wasn't necessary.

At first, I was impressed with Steve's responsiveness and professionalism. He was quick to provide me with a quote and showed up when he said he would. My impression changed once the work started. There were several tasks that Steve quoted that he ended up bailing on because he just didn't want to do the work. This included repairing my fence and prepping my flooring for carpet (he removed the tile where carpet was going to go, but he didn't want to remove the thin-set). I rented a pneumatic tool from a hardware store and prepped the floor myself in less than an hour. My main problem with Steve is that he cut corners in several areas and didn't really live up to his company name by doing "quality" work. I had him paint the entire house and he didn't use tape or any tool to provide a sharp definition between the walls, baseboards and ceiling. I've never seen a professional painter that did the "cutting" work by hand and this resulted in a sloppy paint job. His plumbing work was also sloppy. I had to get a real plumber to come out and fix some of the work that Steve did. The plumber was surprised to find that Steve tried to fix his poor sink installation by coating the underside of the sink with silicone. This fix only lasted for a month and I had to pay a real plumber to install the sink correctly. The plumber also had to fix two toilets that Steve installed. There are several other areas where corners were cut to save Steve time, but I won't go into all of them. Also, after my renters moved in, we had a problem where a closet door that Steve had installed fell off the hinges in the middle of the night. He gave me a quote for fixing both sides of the double-door closet. When he arrived on site, he realized that he only needed to fix one of the doors yet he still charged me for both. When I learned that he had only installed one door, I requested a refund on the other door. Steve agreed to refund half of the cost, however I have yet to receive any refund despite constant reminders. It has been at least 2 months since he did that work. I'm not sure if my experiences are because this was a rent house and Steve thought he might be able to get away with doing a more shoddy job than normal. At any rate, I would not use Steve's handyman services again - especially in the areas of painting and plumbing. I would also recommend keeping a close eye on all of Steve's work. If you are getting work done on your personal home, he may be a decent handyman for you. If you're getting work done at another location, go with someone else.

I called him and talked to him about and said he could do it but he just needed more information. The thing that I really didn't like was that he was un-knowledgable about Hardy Board siding where the stain is pre-applied and he wanted me to look up the info about it. I researched and looked up a lot of information about it and spent alot of time on it. I sent him all the information before the weekend and he said if I did he would review the information over that weekend and we would set up a time that next week for him to come out and give a bid. He never made any attempts to call me, I had to do all the calling. He also told me he would install the siding over the existing siding but I found out from another guy and got it confirmed on the Hardy Board website that you can't do that. This siding has a very specific installation process. On the though phone though he was very nice and I have only seen glowing reviews of him on Angie's List.

I have a full bath remodel and a 1/2 bath remodel. Totaling around $20-25K. They scheduled an appointment with me, confirmed, and then didn't show up for an initial appointment...no call, nothing.

He did the work that we agreed to and he did it on time. He had a fair price, I would rate him very highly. He didn't clean up the outside after the paint work.

Steve arrived on time and completed this project in a timely manner.. He cleaned up his work area very nicely. I am so happy with Steve's work I have referred him to my Aunt for her kitchen remodeling project. ..Way to GO Steve...

Steve got me estimates on all projects over night, he showed up on time and worked until everything was done, even after I had left the house to move to Oregon. His estimates were right on, no surprises. His team moved from one project to the next. I have a 3 story house with lots of stone plus a 10X40 foot retaining wall that was power washed to perfection. He selected a lovely color for the house, painting was done swiftly and looks great. He checked my leaky chimney twice and for the first time in years stopped the leaks. I would highly recommend him to anyone that wants all three elements, on time, quality and price from a handyman. Also if he can't do it, he'll tell you and even make a recommendation on someone who can.

Very disappointed. I called Steve Lee to get an estimate on work my in-laws needed done on their newly purchased house. He was friendly and responsive over the phone. I emailed him the list of work that needed to be done and I also agreed to call him the day before the estimate to confirm the time the following afternoon we would meet at the (vacant) house. We talked the night before the scheduled estimate and agreed to meet around 3pm the following day. He told me he would be coming from another job, I gave him directions, and all seemed set. I arranged for a friend to watch my oldest child, brought my youngest with me, and was prepared to go over all the specifics of the work my in-laws needed done. 45 minutes later I called Steve's cell phone and left a message. An hour after our planned meeting time, I left and have still never heard back from Steve Lee. Based on his ratings, I expected a lot more. I definitely do NOT recommend Quality Handyman.

Steve arrived everyday ready to work. He was totally focused on the work he had to perform here. Nothing was to big for him to tackle. Steve was very neat with his work. Would clean up every evening before he left. THANK YOU Steve for an outstanding job and experience.

The job went well. Mr. Lee contacted the resident and came when he said he will. The job was completed in 2 days, the resident was happy, and the solution appeared to have eliminated the problem.

The contractors were dependable, responsive, fairly priced and performed well. They cleaned up after themselves and were respectful of the property. The owner of the business personally attended all work site visits and was a great guy to work with. He was personable, professional and took his job and client satisfaction seriously.

Very well. There was a delay in getting Steve to answer my calls but I then found he had been on a short vacation. Once he called back he was very professional. He came by and inspected my problems, then left and e-mailed me a professional estimate for the job. We scheduled it and he arrived and did a great job. The cost was exactly as estimated. I have already asked him for a bid on a different project, to break down and rebuild the shower in our bathroom which has started to leak due to old seals around the glass. I am pleased and can recommend Steve.
