Excellent. He cleared the lenses of the safety system and found a broken wire that was intermittently connecting and repaired the wire. Then lubed everything and tested the operation several times.

The repair work was done promptly and at the price quoted by our repairman, Jeremy. The garage door now works like new. Jeremy was very professional and took the time to explain (i) what repairs we needed and (ii) why we needed them. He also gave us several options, at different prices, for the repairs that we could do to our garage door. We are very pleased with the work that Jeremy did, and we enjoyed working with him. He is a really nice, personable guy.

Charged $75 just to get an estimate to fix garage door that would not open. Estimate was twice that of a competitor who used same grade of equipment (e.g. sealed, ball-bearing rollers). Obviously I went with competitor and am very satisfied -- paid 1/2 the price and have a smooth, quiet garage door. May be worth paying double for people who want a 20-year warranty vs a 3-year. Not for me.

They responded to my Angie's List request quickly, and then we were able to secure an appointment by email. They then called to confirm the appointment and what was needed, a day before. The Technicians who refurbished our garage door (that hadn't been serviced in many years by the previous owners) found the defects in past workmanship and made recommendations on how to resolve. They also presented me with 3 options, to suit our budget and the work we'd like to do. They then performed the repairs, on the spot, and they were done in about 5 hours. They swept up, they were professional and courteous, and very knowledgeable. We're thrilled with the outcome!

I was very satisfied with the work done one my garage door. The door spring was replace. in addition, the tech pointed out frayed cables and worn pulleys which he replaced. They were responsive and on time. Yes I would use Precision Garage Door again.

I don't remember what it cost. I would just give them a B all the way through. They showed up on time. The did the work they came to do; no complaints.

..............Consumer Beware.............. First they charge a $ 75 fee for just showing up. So the guy shows up and quotes me prices ranging from $450 just to fix the spring up to $850 for complete overhaul. So I ask him why so much if you have a flat fee of $95 for labor. He said my spring had to be upgraded to a commercial spring (with only has a 90 day warranty). I priced out the parts if I were to buy them and it would have been around $95 to $125 if I upgraded the spring and bought the winding rods. They had me by the short hairs and I could not turn it down or I would have paid $75 for nothing. Modern Day Robbers.

The previous door had gotten off track when the opener stopped. This was the 2nd time it happened, this time it was cheaper to replace than repair. I called precision, and they came out the next day on the appointment time. The mechanic was very professional, and explained the issue, and what needed to be done.

Doors did not come on time and when they did they were not the doors we ordered. They expedited the shipment of the correct doors. Except for the delay, the job was done well and we are very happy with the doors.

The technician not only fixed the bracket, but he also added several more screws to keep it secured. I would definitely use them again. They were prompt and professional.
