The technician, Shane, was very clear and direct about the work that would need to do be done. I wasn't prepared to fully replace our older motor, but it had been giving us a lot of issues lately and was 20 years old. He gave me my options, explained the pricing and upgrades, and said it could be done in an hour. He nailed it. The new motor is quiet, works great, and he was done extremely fast. Great experience and excellent service.

He completed an assessment of the issue and concluded that I needed work done on the garage door itself which needed an additional spring, etc. to properly function. We had our garage door spring converted and fixed back in February with another company and today while we were had it open the spring failed because it was improperly installed and the wrong parts were used. After almost getting decapitated I called Precision and Sean showed up an hour later and fixed my garage door within 2 hours. He was extremely professional and showed me everything that was wrong and everything he did to fix in detail so I could understand the issue. Loved that they sent a text of a picture of who would be showing up. Loved that he came with a mask which he put on immediately. He tried to fix my 40 year old unit but I said it was time to replace. He showed me the units he had and the ones he could get with prices. Choice one he had, mid line, belt driven, no bells and whistles. He installed both units in a timely manor, was professional, knowledgeable and friendly at all times. Highly recommend him and this company. We called Precision Garage Door of Austin at about 1:00 p.m. on a Monday afternoon and were told a service technician would be available between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. that same day. Well, Jeremy Malek arrived promptly at 3:00 p.m. Jeremy is very professional and knowledgeable. He quickly and skillfully assessed the issue with our garage door, provided a few options to repair our existing garage door, and gave us the space and time to process and decide our best route to resolve. Jeremy listened to followup questions and explained the pros and cons in plain language. We made our decision and Jeremy proceeded immediately to repair the garage door in the manner in which we requested. Jeremy was done in less than two hours and had rebuilt the entire garage door with all new hardware to include cables, drums, spring, bearings and rollers. Jeremy finished off the job by greasing all the parts to include the existing latch and lock. Just like that our garage door repair is now done and done!

Our garage door was 20 years old and was giving us a lot of problems including having come off the tracks, which prompted us to call Precision to come out to service it. Upon inspection the technician recommended replacing, although it could be fixed. The cost to get it back in good working order was substantial. We ended up replacing with an upgraded door and new opener with modern capabilities. The installation went very smoothly, the crew was very professional, and they cleaned up very well after project finished.
