Service request placed and appointment set quickly. Technician arrived and we were able to discuss and decide on a new door and opener. Placed order and work commenced within a week. The replacement was well done in the time frame suggested and the area was completely cleared of all debris. Very professional job!

Existing garage door was damaged and off the hinges. They took the time to explain all their options and answer questions, without pressure to go one way or another. Every detail was taken care of, neat and tidy finished installation and hauled away old door and opener (for a reasonable charge, well worth the time and aggravation it saved me). 10 months later the door was not closing properly, reversing on close, requiring two or three tries to get it to work. I called for service, they had all my information ready based just on my name, very personal feel to the call. Appointment was scheduled for the next morning, repairman (the same one who installed the original door) called ahead to confirm, arrived promptly, quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem at no charge (under warranty).

The representatives called to let me know when they would arrive, they showed up on time, they were pleasant, professional and were in and out in less than an hour.

They showed up on time for the estimate and installation. It took a few days to order once we had the estimate in hand. I thought the door was pricey but I was very happy with the job done. A few months later the door dropped on an object again. (my husbands bike rack was not quite over the line) Once again it did not reverse direction but continued to close and crinkled the door. They returned to assess the damage and took care of the repair and made additional adjustments to the tension. I told them that I expected the door to go back up if it was operating properly but I did understand it was our fault that the bike rack was in the way. They did not charge me for the repair!! Sometimes you get what you pay for. In this case a quality door and customer service. I believe a lesser door would not have been repairable. I will hire these guys again.

He showed me the cables were fraying. I was ready to buy a new garage door and they told me that I did not need a new one. They said they could put new pieces to it. He kept me from spending several hundred for new door. I was so impressed with them The way he handle everything was great.

I called the company after hours and they said that they would be there soon. The repairman showed up within an hour and he inspected the assembly. He then advised that the cost would be about $450 and this is with a $50 discount! I had previously been given an estimate of $200-$250 for one spring, but the repairman would not replace just one spring. This appeared to be reasonable, but the cost was about twice what the other shops charged. I decided that I would wait until the next day and get another company. I called ABC doors the next day and they were able to do all that Precision quoted for less than half the price!

I called the company on Tuesday to set up an appointment to have my garage door checked. It had recently started making some unusual noises whenever it was closing and I wanted to get it fixed before something worse happened. I set up an appointment for Thursday between 10 a.m. and noon. On Thursday at 10:35 a.m. someone called from their office to let me know the technician would not arrive until just before noon and asked if that would be okay. The tech called a little after noon to tell me he was about 15 minutes away. I appreciated the calls to keep me informed about the arrival time. The technician quickly diagnosed the problem with the garage door, explained why it was making the noises (bad spring and bearings), and recommended a solution. The door had originally been installed with a single spring. He recommended replacing it with two springs, which is more appropriate for a 16-foot door. After getting my approval, he had the work done in about one hour. He removed and replaced two bad bearings and the old spring and installed one additional spring and an additional bearing. The technician was very thorough and professional. He had all the parts and necessary tools for the job on his truck. The garage door has not worked this well (and this quietly!) probably since it was new - 18 years ago.

They came the same day I called. They did a great job. Quick and clean. They were very helpful.

Our first home and the salesman used scare tactics such as the number of kids killed and injured by garage doors each year and the liabilities involved for us as homeowners. Job was installed professionally but the price was 2-3x what it should have been and the way they handled the complaint was appalling in my opinion. Would not recommend them.

I contacted Precision Door to repair a door at a rental house. I asked them to meet me at the house at 8 am in three days. They said they could only give me a 4 hour window. I agreed to this. On the appointed day, I waited until 11 am, and finally called them. The person who answered took a great deal of time to find my name, and then said that they would have someone call. Someone did call a few minutes later, and explained that they had been delayed on another job. They offered to reschedule, but I elected to find another contractor.

They did a very fine job. Each door was may be around $700 - $800 of the worth. They were professional and the quality of the work was good. I will use their service in the future.

They were very efficient and did a very good job. I liked everything about them other than their price. I would use their services in the future too.

I bought a house two months ago - a fixer upper. The garage door was noisy from the start, and after my siding was replaced around the garage, it stopped working altogether on a Friday. Precision was the third company I called and the first one that could come out on the same day. The first two could come out no sooner than Monday, which would have made me spend the weekend with a broken garage door. This company has a very professional appearance - white van with graphics, uniform shirt and shorts. The salesman/repairman went through a pre-printed checklist to determine which components of my garage door should be replaced and seemed to have specialized sales training. To sum it up, I ended up paying almost $600 for what amounts to no more than $150 in parts and two hours of work. Let's see...that's about $225 an hour. Crap, I am in the wrong business. I got taken on the price, but they did do good work. The door glides now like a bird in the breeze.

They were great to deal with and they did the installation in about 45 minutes, so it wasn t any big inconvenience for me. We had a problem with the opener, but it was a mechanical thing with a component and it wasn t their fault. We called them and they came right out and replaced the part at no additional cost to us.
