The fixed the problem well. They were on time and professional.

Overall, a great experience. There were some issues early on with a misdiagnosis of the problem, which led to some frustrating return visits and anticipated costs. However, they continued to work the issue, and when it became apparent that the early misdiagnosis was the culprit, they rapidly worked to correct all issues with no further cost to us. The company's integrity and drive to fix the problem far overshadowed the early technical issue, in my opinion. I value a company that when not perfect, works perfectly to fix any issues.

Joe and Terry both were very friendly, helpful, and professional. Terry did a great job helping move my vent pipes to optimal locations to balance coverage and aesthetics. Went out of his way to be 100% sure the vents were well sealed. Quality work. Reasonable price. Highly recommend and will use Petrocelli again to replace my A/C unit this spring.

Woke up on New Years day with no heat in the house. Checked Angie's List (and BBB) and selected Petrocelli Services. The person who drew the sort straw for covering the holiday said he would arrive between noon and 1:00 (about two hours after my call). He arrived on schedule and diagnosed the problem and quickly replaced the broken fan motor. The price was reasonable and the service was super. Thanks Petrocelli!

Mr. Petrocelli is very charming and punctual. He came and inspected the unit and did not charge for this inspection. However, after he left and after we received the bid, it appeared to be much higher than discussed. I also wanted a breakdown on certain items which included permits, plumbing charges, electrical charges, etc. I also asked him what formula he used to determine the size of the unit. The house is less than 1,000 sq ft and it seems replacing the entire unit for a 3 ton, which is what he said we need (Mr. Petrocelli told us the 2 ton unit that was installed was too small for the house. I don't believe that's true. There's a formula that is used to determine the size on the unit required and its based upon the square footage of the house and the height of the ceilings). When I asked for explanations, I was never provided any explanation of another bid with the right tons. Although Mr. Petrocelli was very nice and charming, I do believe he was trying to sell us something we did not need, and the fact that he refused to answer my questions makes me think he doesn't know the formula to do the calculations. I also think charging $1800 to move the unit from downstairs into the attic is excessive. He would not provide the breakdown of the costs for relocating the unit into the attic, and I would not recommend him for any job. If he doesn't know how to do the proper calculations to determine the size of the unit needed, or be able to explain the charges, then this is not someone in my opinion who is knowledgeable about the work needed, and I would worry about whether or not the job was professional installed. I must question whether or not he would be able to install the unit professionally.

He showed on time and gave much information. Showed extreme interest. Was to email me an estimate the next day. Never heard from him.

Every thing was excellent from start to finish; the person answering the phone at Petrocelli's listen to my problem and immediately set up an appointment that worked with my schedule and told me the name of the repairman to expect. Terry called the next morning (purposely at a decent hour as it was a Saturday!) and was out within 45 minutes as requested. Terry was very professional and obviously knowledgable as well as a truly nice person. He showed me the problem and fully explained what he was doing each step of the way. He did suggest purchasing the seasonal A/C maintenance plan but there was no sales pressure. Will definitely call on Petrocelli/Terry again when needed.

I do appreciate that Petrocelli has emergency service, since many A/C companies in Austin do not. From the beginning, I was uncomfortable with the serviceperson. He first asked if I actually lived in my house and where my husband was. It went downhill from there. He seemed to get confused very easily and I thought that I smelled alcohol on his breath. After a great deal of talking and gesturing, we determined that the A/C drain was clogged. He did clear that out, although my lawn crew had to clean up around the drain a couple of days later. The repairperson also told me that my filter had disappeared (it is one of those fancy ones that is inside the unit) and insisted that my thermostat was wired for gas backup. Bottom line was that he did the job, barely, and managed to annoy and frighten me.

The service is excellent. I am very pleased with the professionalism and the quality of the service. It is a small local company and I like working with them.

Terry was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and highly professional. He rewired the low voltage cable cut when hit by a weed eater, protected said wiring to make it "idiot proof". Terry also verified AC was functioning properly. Terry explained everything in detail, and made some great recommendations. THEY HAVE A VERY SATISFIED AND REPEAT CUSTOMER!

We bought a foreclosure that had pretty much been emptied of everything except the kitchen sink and I mean that literally. I called several companies but decided to go with Petrocelli. The install went without a hitch/ The husband and wife team that did the install was very polite and courteous and did an excellent job. Also as a side note the week before, our AC at our rental house went out so I thought I since I was already using Petrocelli I would call them for this also. Tech came out and replaced our blower motor which didn't take long. Guy was very pleasant and happy with service. Even recommended them to our old landlord who needed their AC fixed too.

Well. They were prompt, courteous and efficient. We called late one day, and they were here the next to fix it.

I was getting a message on my Carrier Infinite air conditioner that the filters needed to be cleaned or replaced. I called Petrocelli's because I had not been happy with the provider that had installed my system nine years ago and read about Petrocelli's on Angie's List. I happened to call after hours to see if they were still opened and got Robert who was very accommodating and asked me to schedule an appointment with the office the next morning. I called the next morning and got an appointment for the next day - I was very pleased I didn't have to wait too long. Robert arrived on time, he thoroughly checked the system, and re connected some switches the previous company had not connected. He gave me a complete description of the status of the unit, and I signed an annual maintenance agreement. I was very happy with the service and would use Petrocelli's again.

I called Petrocelli Services after researching on Angies List when I had water in the A/C closet. The drain pipe needed to be unblocked. Was told to expect the service guy in 2 hrs. Got a call within the hour and Terry showed up 15 min later. He was very professional. He verified it was the drain pipe and unblocked it. He was not happy at the setup I had for the drain pipe and fixed the pipes so that the T-junction was correctly positioned. He also advised about getting a safety valve installed to avoid having this issue again. I agreed to that and he did the job quickly. He also had a good sense of humor and I had a good time speaking with him while he worked.

My upstairs a/c was not cooling well at all, so I looked up service companies on Angie's List. I came to Petrocelli and gave them a call at 8:30 in the morning on a Sunday. They answered the phone immediately and scheduled me for an appointment that day. Terry came out to the house and evaluated my systems. He quickly determined that my upstairs evap coil was leaking and the compressor was frozen over due to lack of freon. Terry also noticed some grounding wires not set up correctly, so he fixed that as well. He thawed out the compressor and added freon once thawed. After that, he got on the phone and got the coil ordered for the installer. On Monday, they called to verify everything and got the part ordered. On Tuesday at 9 AM, they came to the house and installed the coil. Not only did they install the coil, they improved the pipe routing and improved the system overall so that I should not have an issue with it for many years. My whole interaction with Petrocelli was top notch. They are a great company and I highly recommend them. If I ever need another a/c repair, they will be my first call every time.

A/C tune up service went smoothly. I have a very old a/c unit, but received no pressure to buy a new a/c.

They are the only provider that answered the phone. They take appointments 24 hours a day. The worker was knowledgable and helpful. Would definitely use them again.

We called Petrocelli the morning of August 1 because the line to our air conditioner unit had frozen a few times starting the previous evening. They sent a technician, Robert, later the same morning. He checked the unit and confirmed that it was low on Freon and then recharged it. He was courteous and seemed knowledgeable. We've used Petrocelli in the past and were happy with them, so we'd use them again. The only reason we didn't give them an "A" on price is because their service call charge ($85) is higher than that of other A-rated companies we've used.

I contacted another service company before I called Petrocelli Services. Even though i talked with the other company's answering service twice, no one called me back to set up an appointment. I lost a full hour waiting to hear back from them! When I called Petrocelli Services, I was assured that a repair person would call me right away, and Robert did so. He traveled quite a distance to reach my address, and as you can imagine on a very hot July night with a dead AC unit, I was so very grateful. He performed the diagnosis and repair quickly and efficiently, checked out the rest of the mechanical system, cleaned the unit, explained everything about the repair, and left one very happy customer. I will not hesitate to call on this service company again in the future.

When I got home from work, I noticed that one of my two air conditioning units failed. I called Petrocelli in the evening, and they sent out a technician right away. He diagnosed that it was frozen. They sent someone else out the following day who determined that it was a leak. I decided to replace both units because they were old. I was given a quote at a very reasonable price. Two days later, two other workers arrived. They were very professional and friendly. They replaced the broken unit that day. They came back two days later to replace the other unit. They came back a week after that to finish a few things. During the course of their work, they found and fixed one leak, and apologized for it. They did not have to tell me that since I would never have known; their honesty impressed me. The new system is working fine.
