I called on Thursday hoping for the service to be done in the next couple of weeks. They were able to come out the very next day! The service tech was very polite and professional. He called prior to arriving and went through all the services he was going to perform.

Called, were nice, came same day and repaired issue.

Appointment: The phone was answered by Leesa, who was very responsive. I was surprised that she was willing to send someone out on Friday afternoon (same day I called). I was under the impression that it would be weeks before I could get anyone to come out because of the high volume of service requests in the summer. We finally settled on the following Monday afternoon. She was willing to accommodate a service call on the Saturday too BTW. Service: Terry called me about 30 mins prior to leaving so that I could be home in time. He checked out the unit thoroughly and pin pointed the issue quickly. The value was loose so the refrigerant had been probably leaking for the past year until it completely drained. He replaced the fluid, tightened the value, checked out the other unit and gave us options to consider in case we wanted our units checked on a more regular basis. Terry was very courteous, professional, and never tried to up sell anything. I will certainly recommend these folks to my friends. They were super!

The quote:I called a few folks for quotes and was impressed by Joe. he was one of two folks to actually look at both the inside and outside units rather than arriving on site and just providing a quote without looking at the units. He also provided a quote for what I felt was the most appropriate unit for me. Everyone else tried to upsell me on more expensive units The Install:Thankfully there was room on the schedule for a next day install. The installers were punctual and efficient. In at 9am and out by lunchtime. However, I have to ding them for 2 things: gashed(not too deep) the wall inside the house when moving either the old unit out or the new unit in and there was a problem with the freon which required a followup visit by a tech later in the day. Regarding the follow up visit, my wife and I went for lunch and ran errands while we expected the house to cool. We came back a few hours later later and the house was still quite warm. Not knowing what was wrong, we called Petrocelli Services and despite it being the end of the day(about 4pm), one of their techs, Bobby, was dispatched and an hour later he was at our house. He quickly diagnosed the problem with the freon and stayed until the house started to cool down. Bobby was professional and friendly. It was clear he had a long day but he demonstrated that he wasn't going home until we were satisfied with the install. Misc: In general, very responsive as a service. The office manager,Leesa was quick to answer my questions about the rebate form and helped fill out their part of the form. Additionally, when Leesa realized that my newly installed unit wasn't working she made sure to dispatch a tech even though it was the end of the day.

My 12 year old A/C unit stopped cooling the house. I had already had another big, well known company come out, who told me my compressor was shot, and urged me to buy an entire new HVAC system (not just the outside A/C unit, which would have cost me three times what I ended up paying. I decided to get a second opinion, so I called Petrocelli Services Bobby responded very quickly to my call. After checking things out, he confirmed my compressor was bad, he suggested a new outside unit due to it's age, rather then just replace the compressor, and had it installed just hours later. He said I did not need the entire system replaced, which saved me some big bucks. The unit has been working just fine. I really appreciated the fact that he did not try to sell me more then I needed and did the installation so quickly....just before the really hot weather set in. Also, his office responds very quickly to emails, and are very friendly and helpful.

Petrocelli's estimate was within the ball park but they did not provide any information or assistance on rebates, which I now know are substantial. I called Petrocelli on the basis on other Angies list reviews and I can't say my experience measured up to what I expected from such a highly rated company,

The service person arrived on time. Spoke with my husband about the problem with the outside compressor for our AC unit and promptly fixed it. He was very courteous and knowledgeable.

We noticed the auxillary AC drain pipe was dripping on a Sunday. We used a shop vac to get the standing water out of the drain pan. We blew out the drain line as much as possible and poured a water/bleach mixture down the pipe. Monday seemed fine, but we noticed dripping again on Tuesday. The drain pan was dry, so something was wrong. Petrocelli Services had performed some work on our AC system a few years ago, so we called them again. They were able to send Bobby out the same day I called. Bobby not only took the time to explain to me what was going on, but he also re-explained it to the partner over the phone. He made an adjustment to the drain piping to help the AC unit drain more efficiently. He also installed a float switch on the drain pan that will shut off the AC unit if the drain pan gets too much water in it. Sure, the house will become quite warm, but that will alert us long before we might notice the auxillary drain pipe dripping. This also means our ceiling won't accidentally get flooded. Petrocelli Services also offered an Angie's List coupon, which they happily honored. I am pleased with their work, their professionalism, and their punctuality. I would definitely call them again.

After narrowing my search for an HVAC service provider down to 5 companies (using Angie's List), I made calls to each of them to check availability and get some initial pricing estimates for the diagnosis. Spoke with Lisa on the phone who gave me the necessary info but said that they were fully booked for the day, so I moved on to the other companies. After calling the other companies and getting mixed results (information/availability/pricing model) I decided to put off the repair for another day. About an hour later Lisa called me back to say that they had a spot open up and a tech could be at the house within the hour. I gladly took the appointment. The technician, Terry, called when he was 30 minutes out and showed up on time, courteous, and professional. The problem was diagnosed in 10 minutes, and he showed me exactly what the problem was and how he went about his assessment. Terry then placed a few calls to locate the required part at a local shop and stepped out to retrieve it. Upon his return, the entire unit was repaired, buttoned up, and tested (sucessfully) within 30 minutes. The pricing was fair with NO HIDDEN CHARGES (travel time, fuel surcharge, etc.). Cost of the part and the cost of the labor. Was so happy with the excellent service that I'll definitely be calling them about signing up for semi-annual HVAC check-ups. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with Petrocelli! Great job Lisa and Terry!

We had concerns that our air conditioning unit had moved on the concrete pad from possible vibration within the unit. Terry, the service technician, responded quickly and checked out the entire unit from top to bottom. He found no vibration in the unit and found everything else to be working perfectly thus allaying our fears. When I spoke to Terry he was professional and courteous and we highly recommend this company as a place to do business. We will call upon them in the future if the need arises.

It went well. The technicians were punctual, professional, and quick.

and your home office for the invoice this man was stressing me out and I just had a stroke last year and I did relay that to him I asked him for his bosses name and he told me he was the boss of the company so I said I will then call Lisa to write the invoices Lisa told me he was not the boss and he was instructed what to do inspection only .Lisa inform my realtor that she would email the invoices that day or night the latest called her this morning and the tech did not drop off the work order and she doesn't know when he will get back again I begged them to do something because my realtor suppose to meet with me to write offer up This company may indeed effect the outcome of my home buying I am so upset for the stress and the unprofessional way they handle there business thus far.Good luck for anybody using them. I am hoping for a happy ending to all this mess I will keep you informed. I just call this morning Feb 15,2012 930 AM and ask Lisa if she could at least ask him what he did write something so I could meet up my realtor she said she talked with Terry and she has no clue when he will get back to the office with his report this is complete Pain in Blank service! Feb.21, 2012 Update... I talked with the owner Joe and he told me that they were a service company and he would only charge me 85 dollars and the other ac would be at no charge. Also concern about Angie's list. I told him I would update soon as I can what he did. Because being a new report it takes a few days to be able to do that.Well he called me today saying he notice the "bad Write up" and asked me to revise it so here it is payed my bill was charge 85 dollars and it's hopefully over! I somewhat still feel the same because the first thing he said was I should try to understand his employee .And I begged Joe to tell him what happen because he just wanting to charge me 85 and not charge for unauthorized work he did and call it a day.But I was hoping to help him from having this happen to somebody else again. I guess thats what Angie list is for.2/22/12 I got a phone call today again from Petrocelli Services , He ask me to update my report again he said it is worst write up then the one before so I was almost to a point of changing my report so he just go away but my husband said no to the changing of the reports and he said he is fighting for the freedom for which we all share and one of them is speech so he told me to call Angie's .So hopefully after talking with the Angie staff this company will just leave us alone and stop calling me to change my Angie's Reports! I really don't want another stoke from the very unnecessary stress.

Love these guys. I had two companies come out for an estimate on a furnace replacement. The job was urgent because the heating was needed for our new wood flooring, and the broken furnace was basically holding up the whole remodel project. These guys were heads and tails above the other company. They gave me a detailed description of what was going on, what needed to be done, and how much. The other guy said "So, what do you want to do?" Seriously??? In addition, the other guy charged me $85 for coming out, even though he did nothing and told me nothing. Petrocelli's guys worked late on a Friday night, first thing Saturday morning and throughout the day. Can't say enough about how fast, thorough, and professional they were. Highly recommended.

After some initial issues with appointment time, this company came through perfectly today. My heater was not coming on, and as I just bought my house I was not farmilar with the equipment. They came out and immediately identified that there was no defect, only a tripped breaker switch on the furnace. Then Terry took time to explain all the different parts and perform a throught inspection to make sure it was in good condition for the season. Would note, the initial appointment was missed and reschedule did not occur properly. Petrocelli gave the service free and his team was extremely helpful in addressing their error. Everyone has service problems on ocassion, the real measure of client service is how well you recover. This company did great and exceeded my expectations. Would certainly use them again and recommend to others.

My AC unit has been under performing in this heat, and my house has been staying in the 80’s so I thought it was time to get someone out to take a look. I chose Petrocelli based on the positive Angies List reviews and was not disappointed. The office associate was able to arrange for a same day appointment, and was happy to accommodate my work schedule. The technician, Terry, was prompt, knowledgeable, and polite. Terry inspected the entire system, performed maintenance (cleaning, coolant, maintenance), and had me fixed up in about an hour. My AC is now working as it should be. I would use this company again.

Our A/C unit had water condensation building on the pipes. He figured out that there was buildup in the drainage pipe leading outside. The whole thing took about 15 minutes. He showed me what we need to do in the future to maintain our system and provided information on their preventative maintenance program.

Very fast response, diagnosis and parts (vs. unit) replacement.

We noticed water coming out from the secondary drain on the eave. We called the service provider around 7:30pm to see if they could come out sometime this week. Terry let us know he could come out tonight and take care of it. He arrive in under an hour. Terry spent about an hour servicing the two a/c units (coil, electric fittings, contactor, drains, and coolant charge). We were very happy with the level of service provided by Terry.

Best experience I've ever had with a service company/provider!

Our AC was not cooling downstairs, so I called yesterday and was able to schedule an appointment for 10:00 today. Terry arrived about 10 minutes early. He was courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable. He found and fixed 4 problems, and now my AC is ice cold. I would highly recommend Terry and Petrocelli Services.

I am very impressed with Petrocelli Services. I called at 12:15 pm when I noticed central a/c not cooling down the 2nd floor. Technician Terry was at my house by 1:00 pm and had my a/c blowing cold air again by 1:30 pm. Now that's fast service. Terry quickly determined it was my capacitor and replaced it and also checked to make sure everything else was working properly.

AC stopped cooling on a Saturday and the hottest day of the year, so far. Technician, Terry, arrived exactly within time frame promised and quickly diagnosed problem. Job was timely completed with professionalism. Also counseled us on what to look out for and tested other parts of unit which proved to be okay. We will be scheduling regular maintenance with Petrocelli Services in the future, switching from another service company we had been using for about 10 years. Very pleased with their service today!

My existing A/C and heating units were working fine but were 18 years old. I wanted to do the total replacements (inside and outside units, keeping existing ductwork) on my terms, not in the middle of the summer or winter. So, I asked three reputable, local A/C firms to give me proposals on the replacement equipment, specifying American Standard or similar quality. All three seemed fine, and Petrocelli was the most expensive. But, Joe Petrocelli was the only one who made some creative suggestions on improvements that I ended up implementing. For instance, he suggested we change the location of the air return vents (and the location of one of the indoor units) to cut down on the noise. He also suggested that we run more ductwork to a part of the house with extreme temperatures which was away from the thermostats. Of course, this extra work added to the expense, but it was absolutely worth it. In terms of being timely, I called Joe on Monday to tell him I had selected Petrocelli and he told me he could PROBABLY do the entire job the next day. He lived up to his word on the equipment, though his men had to stay until 9:30 p.m. to finish the second unit on the hottest day of the year (so far). We had cool air throughout the house when they left, and the reduction in noise level from reworking the air returns was fantastic . The sheetrock work associated with the air return vent relocations was finished over the remainder of the week. The quality of that work was excellent, though the sheetrock subcontractors were a little less punctual than the A/C installers. Joe satisfactorily handled my punch list himself: 1) address unstable, unsightly A/C pads under the outside units, 2) install plywood over old return hole in the attic., 3) answer my questions about operation, 4) recommend and implement a fix to prevent clogged drains on the conderser units inside (this has been a long-term problem for me), 5) repair a leaky connection in the new ductwork. After the work was complete, I told him I really wanted to address the difference in temperature in our master suite (too cold in winter, too hot in summer) because it is far from the thermostats. After climbing up in the attic, he suggested running both an additional supply duct and additional return duct through the attic to the master suite. He quoted it for me and had it done in about four hours one afternoon. That has made a noticeable difference in comfort in the master suite. So, all around, Petrocelli Services delivered much more than I thought I'd get before I started, and I got it done in a timely fashion. I had to pay extra for the enhancements that set Petrocelli apart from the other two bidders, but the enhancements were well worth it. I can't see being anywhere near as satisfied if I had chose either of the other two companies (also highly rated by Angie's List) to just replace the units.

Extremely friendly, courteous and professional. Plan on using this company in the future.
