After speaking to Robert Peoples on the phone I thought this was going to be a good working relationship BUT I never got a call back. I spoke directly to Robert Peoples and asked him numerous questions. He took his time and answered all my questions. He said he would email me some pictures of work they had done, which he did. I responded to his email and I never heard back from him. I left a message after a few days and again, never heard from him. So I did not get a chance to work with him.

Robert and his team were instrumental in making this experience positive. With three kids underfoot, it was borderline traumatic to think about the ordeal of replacing 2700+ square feet of flooring. Robert was very thorough in helping us think through the types of flooring that would work best with our house and lifestyle (and kids!) and that would have the appeal/design we were seeking. He spent a lot of time bringing samples and making sure that our selections were exactly the right fit for us. His experience and advice made this process much easier and less stressful than anticipated. Once we had decided on the types of flooring, Robert walked us through how the installation would occur, giving us a realistic view of the time involved and what to expect along the way. He provided ample direction on how to best prepare the house (i.e. giving checklists and other helpful advice on how to get our furniture out of the way) so that his team could be as efficient in installing the flooring as possible. His crew was extremely courteous and respectful. Installing tile and hardwood floors can be tricky and messy (we've done it before at a previous house), but his team worked with precision to create as little disruption as possible. They were very diligent about protecting our furniture with plastic and other coverings so that the dust and residue from the installation did not harm our furniture. The installation was completed almost exactly as planned. The only hiccup was our own doing -- remembering to clear out certain rooms and traffic areas to allow the crew to access areas when moving from one room to another. Robert's team was able to manage, even helping us move furniture or clear out closets so that the crew could stay on schedule. The best part is that we stayed on budget. Robert was quite thorough in preparing the estimate and gave us a very accurate view of what to expect before the final costs were tallied. At each phase he provided an update and gave us a clear idea of our budget progress. He also offered some flexibility in the payment plan which was helpful. We had a great experience with Robert and would definitely recommend him to others. Should we have any additional flooring needs in the near future (with 3 kids it's likely), we will definitely call Robert.

Overall, we are very satisfied. We would recommend this company to any homeowner or home builder.

I called the company to inquire about a small service job. Julie Peeples answered the phone and promised a prompt estimate. The next day, Robert Peeples called me with the quote. Two business days later, the work was performed. The carpet was stretched and vacuumed. No complaints. Job well-done.

We needed new carpet for our condo that was our home until we relocated. We rented it to someone we knew and unfortunately she did not take care of our first home the way we had hoped. Robert and Julie Peoples came to the rescue when it was time to sell. We didn't live in the area anymore and they were happy to help us long distance. They were very prompt, extremely knowledgeable, completely trustworthy and worked within our budget to get us the best quality product. My husband and I said many times "You can buy the same product from anyone, but it was Robert and Julie Peoples who made our experience a great one". They are a great team and went the extra yard to take care of our needs and create a lasting impression. I highly recommend Robert and Julie Peoples for all flooring needs.

Everything went as they described on the front end. The product was exactly as promised, the recommended design worked out perfectly, and there were no surprises. I hate getting add ons after the work begins- there was none of that. The tile designs in my entry way and kitchen are really fabulous. No seams in my master bedroom was also a plesant surprise. Robert and Julie Peoples really hit a home run for me and my flooring- the tile, the wood, and the carpet. Finally, a home improvement vendor that OVER DELIVERS!! Robert and Julie Peoples were great to work with. Robert came out to look at our re-model project and gave us options and bids for each area of our home. It was an extensive project and they handled it with professionalism and attention to detail - from start to finish. We were very pleased and will use them again on future projects.

From the moment of my initial call to Robert -- per a recommendation from a neighbor who had used Robert and Julie -- I was treated superbly. They were prompt and incredibly patient and knowledgeable. Their pricing was very reasonable and I was treated fairly. Their installers were professional and hardworking, and I was amazed at the quality of the work, and everything was completed on time.

Robert and Julie Peoples submitted a bid to remove old flooring and replace with new carpet and tile in a home that I needed to sell quickly. The new flooring, including carpet and tile, was installed within days of calling! I had an Open House the following week and had a contract on the house within two days. The tile job was perfect! REALTORS and prospective buyers can point out imperfections....there were none. Carpet was great, no seam lines visible at all. I would highly recommend them to clients as well as family and friends. Very professional!

Robert came out and took measurements and was able to give us an estimate on the spot. Prior to that, he had emailed his website so that we could get an idea of some wood samples he had to offer. After his initial visit, we were able to pick a date fairly quickly. The workers arrived and got the job done professionally and quickly!

Crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and were exceedingly polite. They went above and beyond by also installing my baseboards and putting floor protectors on all my furniture. 3 rooms worth!

We were able to set up an estimate quickly while my husband was in town. And the work was performed well while we were out of town. Our leasing agent was very impressed with the quality of the carpet (she said it felt "luxurious") and it really complimented the home.

I wish there was some way to indicate that an experience goes beyond excellent to off the charts, because that's what I'd rate our experience with Robert and Julia Peoples of Floor Coverings International, and with their amazing installer, Bruno. Briefly, we did a home remodel and, rather foolishly, did not decide to change carpet until the last moment. Our house is a two story house, with laminate and tile floors downstairs, and carpeting on the stairs and in the upstairs hall and bedrooms. Very late into our downstairs remodel, we made the decision to buy new carpeting, and we were pressed for time. We went to the big box stores and one other carpeting chain, but it wasn't at all clear that they could move as quickly as we wanted, and we felt a little lost as to what to buy. We saw all the positive reviews for Floor Coverings International on Angies List and gave them a call. We were very impressed by the efficiency they showed in helping us through the decision making process. They helped us firm up our decision on which carpet type to buy, they gave us a price we knew was not going to matched by any of the other places we'd been to, and they even managed to get us large carpet samples flown in in a timely manner, to help us make a decision as to color. Every conversation, whether in person or on the phone, was a complete pleasure. Robert and Julia are friendly, informal, relaxed, and yet very, very competent and knowledgeable. They are not at all pushy, and their advice is always well meant and wise. From start to finish, our carpet was installed around 2 weeks after our first contact with Robert and Julia, despite the fact that we had to make our choices and get the carpet shipped in from California, in that time frame, This is something we *never* could have accomplished with a big box supplier like Home Depot or Lowes. The icing on the cake was the experience of the install. Robert and Julia sent out their most experienced installed, a fellow named Bruno. He was a real pleasure. He had a sense of humor, and a wonderful attitude, but despite his easy-going ways, he is dedicated to quality. Some workmen we had (mistakenly) hired years ago to do tile in our upstairs bathroom, had rigged up a rather ugly transition from tile to carpet using thin sheet metal strips. When our last carpet was installed, by Home Depot, their installers ignored the strips, worked around them, and left them in place. When Bruno saw them, they *really* bothered him esthetically. He called me over and requested permission to try to take the strips out and do a normal carpet to tile transition. He cautioned that tile might break in the process, because the previous workmen had put the metal under the tile, and asked me if I had replacement tiles. I did have, and I told him to go ahead and try. The end result was that he didn't damage anything, and we have a much, much prettier carpet to tile transition. All of this was extra work he took on, at no extra charge, just because he had high quality standards and wanted to meet them. He did another thing that amazed me. I expected there would be 6 seams when our install was all done, 4 of these being in the doorways to our 4 bedrooms. But, we ended up with seams in only 2 of the 4 bedroom doorways. Bruno managed to cut one piece of carpet perfectly to fit into the hallway and into each of two adjacent bedrooms, without a seam! And, you would need a microscope to find the seams he did put in place, they are almost invisible. He tucked the carpet around our stairs beautifully, and this was a difficult job. When Home Depot had installed our last carpet, years ago, their installers worked until well past midnight, because our stairs are so tricky. Bruno did a much better job in much less time. I have to remark on some other things that were really nice. Robert came two days after the install to do a walk through in person, to make sure that everything was OK (it was more than OK). And, we received a pleasant surprise the day after the install when a gorgeous bouquet of flowers in a mug bearing the logo of Floor Coverings, International, was delivered to our house. Not only did the flowers please us, I was really impressed by the business sense of Robert and Julia. Compared to the cost of a large carpet job, the cost of flowers and a mug is small, but the impression they make is lasting. And, again from a business point of view, it is so smart to give someone a nicely shaped coffee mug that they'll use for years, there is no better way of keeping your company in the minds of your customers.So, it not only was a nice gesture, it reinforced my opinion that Robert and Julia, being smart, were very much the right people to turn to, to solve our flooring problems.

He came out with carpet samples to show us our options. We love the carpet. You can get good carpet, but you can't always find good service out there. This gentleman gave us excellent advice on which carpet would best withstand high traffic. They allowed us to pay in two increments. And they worked around our schedule.

Owner came to house to provide an estimate. He brought samples, laid them in the area where they would be installed, and allowed me to compare alternatives; ultimately deciding on the materials. Suggestions were made for tile that would provide a nice contrast to the wood; providing the best possible appearance and endurance at the lowest cost. After signing the contract and paying a 50% deposit, I was provided with a wood floor care kit. I later called for a change order to add tiling of the master bath which was added without difficulty. The installers arrived at the appointed time, were very personable, businesslike, quick, and efficient. One of the young men jogged everywhere! The only thing they don't do is reseat toilets. Those who don't have the skills to do the job will need to have a plumber do the job. Customer service is superior from the original estimate to scheduling the installation date to an efficient and careful work crew to delivery of a flower bouquet early on the second day of the process. Follow-up to make sure that all went well was an integral part of the process. The end result is beautiful flooring that has been very durable and easy to care for. When the time comes to replace my carpet, Floor Coverings International will be my first contact. This company is superior in every way!

The tradesmen were very professional, nicely dressed and groomed, spoke English, explained the procedure and got right on with it. It may have been one of the most pleasant experiences with workers in my home. They did not talk much and seemed in good moods. The best!

I am in a condo with pretty obsessive rules about noise, dust, construction debris, etc. Robert came out with excellent suggestions on product. I was out of town during the installation, but it went like a charm. I have used Robert and Julie before and used them again because they have great taste, do not try to oversell, have good prices, and follow up until you are satisfied. I can't say enough good things about them.

They have a really good personality. They are really thorough. You know what they are talking about. They talk a good game but they back it up with what they do. From A to Z they are top notch.

They have a fine reputation. They have excellent customer service. They come to your home with samples, and they give good advice. They provide accurate estimates. There are no surprises. They are also really nice people.

I highly recommend this company. They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish and did a fabulous job. Their prices are competitive, the employees are skilled, pompt, effecient, and courteous. Robert was really wonderful to work with. He made several several visits to our home to help us choose the flooring, hauling loads of samples each time. His expertise and patience were invaluable in helping us figure out just what we wanted. Julie kept us updated on deliveries and worked flexibly with us to schedule installations. The floors are beautiful and we couldn't be more pleased.

Robert came over and gave an estimate on Tuesday night and work began that Friday. Removal of the marble and tile took an afternoon and then the removal of the carpeting and laying of the wood floor as well as the laying of the slate bathroom floor took three days. We are extremely pleased with the results, it looks amazing and the attention to detail of the team was great. They did not stop moving for three days, I have never seen folks work harder, down to the details at the end of hand buffing the floors to ensure they were perfect. Carpet remnants were done within a few days in an afternoon. Overall an excellent experience.
