Peoples Signature Flooring

This was our second time to use Peoples so we had high expectations...we weren't disappointed. They are the best! Robert and Julie really cared about our floors, from choosing the tile to the shade of grout they used. When the tile I wanted was out of stock, Robert found an available one that was even better! The installers were great, friendly and efficient. When we noticed some tiny chips in a few of the tiles they came back and replaced those tiles right away! They are perfectionists who stand by their work. I would trust them with any project.

We absolutely love our new floors! After several attempts to find floor samples in showrooms, I had given up hope. Then I found Peoples Signature Flooring. Robert made the process as painless as possible. He came to our house, and spent no less than a few hours helping us explore our options. He wheeled in huge stacks of samples, and encouraged us to consider lighting, our floor traffic use and individual needs. The result was better than I expected. His installation team was hardworking, fast and courteous. Robert came over after the installation was finished, to ensure we were satisfied and answer our questions about caring for our new floors. Cannot recommend highly enough!

If you are thinking of investing your time and money getting your floors replaced then you want to get it right the first time. We replaced well over 3000 sq/ft of flooring and after some exhaustive research chose to go with Robert and Julie Peoples who are the owners of Peoples Signature Flooring. We are so happy that we made that choice. Not only are Robert and Julie outstanding to work with but their long-time employees are masters of their trade. We were so impressed with their professionalism and courtesy - arriving and leaving on schedule, leaving their work space meticulously clean every day and did I mention their skills? Wow! Stairs are often the focal point of the home so if you are thinking of getting them done ask Robert about 'rebuilding your stairs' including the starter stair. I couldn't find anybody else that does what he does. Absolute magic!

After being immobilized for months about where to start the process of replacing my 13-year old wall-to-wall carpet and vinyl flooring, I stumbled across the website of Peoples Signature Flooring. They are a mobile flooring company, meaning that the owner, Robert Peoples, brings samples to your home based on what you need in terms of flooring type, materials, quality, and color. The hands-on-approach was exactly what I needed. What I had not expected is that Robert spends a great deal of time educating his clients (in writing and verbally) so they can make educated decisions every step of the process. At no point in the process did I feel overwhelmed or on my own. He provided expertise, recommendations, suggestions, and things to consider but I was always in the driver’s seat. I was originally going with Luxury Vinyl Planks but after Robert came to my home and we tried out different styles of flooring with my lighting and furnishings - and crunched numbers (my biggest concern), I ended up installing a stunning engineered hardwood throughout and complementary tile in the bathrooms and laundry. Robert (and his wife, Julie) provided fantastic service, that was professional, educational, on budget and on time. In fact, his crew was in and out in three days – which was earlier than anticipated. The wood and tile floors are absolutely beautiful! I couldn’t be more pleased and I would highly recommend Robert and Peoples Signature Flooring to any homeowner looking to do flooring work!

Great! It was my second time using this company and Robert and Julie are just wonderful to work with! Very responsive, very helpful, just incredible customer service. I like the fact that they have worked with their installation crew for years as well. Robert is so thorough and patient as you go through flooring samples to get the one that is "just right." He is careful about showing in different lights. He went above and beyond for me to compare more thoroughly my two top favorites. I get compliments every single time someone walks into my house - so happy with the flooring! This is the second time I've use their services in Austin. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

The sales process was excellent...it is so great the samples are brought right to your house. So convenient AND you can see the colors right in your home. Great selection and guidance to what was best for my home. The installation was also very thorough and efficient and the quality of the install was perfect! The team was also very courteous and professional. Excellent on all levels!

Robert Peoples called me and from my online request, he had already pulled my address from TCAD and was able to give me a rough estimate. He also educated me on the different types of flooring and their pros and cons. He never pressured me, but over the next few days answered my numerous questions. I also got bids from 2 other businesses. Robert and his wife, Julie, were very responsive and respectable when it came to my needs and budget. The crew was also great-- professional, knowledgable and friendly. My furniture was moved carefully and then returned. They even moved furniture that I'd moved out of the room. Robert came out to see the progress and Julie called to see how I was holding up. I would hire them again in a minute and definitely recommend this business owned by a husband/ wife team.

Robert and Julie Peoples are amazing. They bring the floor samples to you so you can see how they look in your home. Their installers work is excellent. Their prices are very comparable with other businesses. If you want a stress free excellent job, this is the company for you.

I can not stress how smoothly and professionally all the work that Peoples completed was done. All appointments were prompt and the work was completed very quickly without sacrificing quality in any way. Mr. Peoples was extremely helpful when we were making design choices, and always had our budget in mind. I am giving them my highest recommendations.

This company is awesome! We had wood, tile and carpet floors installed in our house and they came out fantastic! The wood floor installers were artisans and you could see their skill and knowledge in the way the floors were installed. They took pride in their work and it shows. The tile floors turned out perfect too. The tile was perfectly cut for some of those odd corners and the skill involved shows. Just like the wood floor installers, the tile floor installer took pride in his work. As for the carpet, that was another awesome job. They installed carpet on two staircases and the family room. The install is flawless. We are amazed at the incredible work that was done from Peoples Signature Flooring. They have the best installers and I doubt anyone can do better than these people do. From beginning to end, Robert Peoples helped us with making decisions on selections for wood, tile, and carpet. His expertise combined with the talent and knowledge of his installers make this one incredible company. And it was a pleasure working with Robert, Julie, and all the installers. In a nutshell, I highly recommend this company – their work is unsurpassed.

We recently purchased carpet and had it installed by Peoples Signature Flooring. Julie and Robert own this shop-at-home mobile flooring company and I highly recommend them. This is my first review on Angie's List so you know I like them a lot! Robert spent literally hours at our home making sure we were picking the right carpet for our home and needs. He brings all the carpet in his van and picks about 10 that he thinks you will like from your previous phone conversation. In those hours at your home he will help you whittle it down to the carpet you like the texture and color of (there's really a lot more to carpet than I knew). After narrowing our results from 10 to about 5, he sat on our floor in the master bedroom (because that was the lighting we would be seeing our carpet in mostly) while we felt with our hands and our feet the carpet we might purchase. While Robert was here he presented us with a quote for our top 3 carpets and pads and had our "best world scenario" installation day. The next day Julie called with an installation date within that window. She explained when their installers would arrive and that they would stay until they were finished. Two weeks later the installers arrived within the time frame we were told. They replaced carpet in 3 of our bedrooms and were done by early afternoon. The installers were professional and cleaned up very nicely after themselves. The only thing we had to do was move everything out of the rooms with the exception of the beds. The installers moved the beds as needed. Julie called me the day of installation to make sure I was completely satisfied. I was! Robert has been a wealth of information with vacuum recommendations to care and maintenance. I will warn you getting new and good carpet installed is not cheap. It was fantastic! Robert was great at showing me many choices and stayed well within our budget. I was nervous about having tile removed but it was not a problem at all. The crew was very professional and prompt. Every night when they left, the house was clean and safe for us to live in. I have had many friend's use People's Flooring and now I am happy to say, I to would highly recommend them.

Julie and Robert are AMAZING!! We've used them 4 times over the past 6 years in two different homes and they never disappoint. They bring samples straight to your home, are extremely knowledgeable, and their installers are seriously talented!! Highly recommend.

He navigated an insurance claim with us, and turned a very stressful event into a blessing!! Our new floors are stunning to the point that I am now happy we had to re-do them all. Robert and Julie were very good to work with. They are professional and caring people who worked with me to select flooring that was of quality and within my budget. I had a change in projects which caused a delay with the install of the flooring and they kindly and patiently worked with me to accommodate my changed timeline. The installers were professional and efficient, and performed an excellent install, along with coming up with a creative solution for a challenge posed by the removal of a door frame.. The house is much enhanced and looks great...thank you Robert and Julie!

If you are doing research on a flooring company, just stop now and go with Peoples Signature Flooring. You will not have a bad experience. Robert and Julie are some of the nicest people you will ever work with and they will make sure everything is done right. Is it a little more expensive than some other companies? Sure. But you get what you pay for. And when you are going to be spending a good chunk of money with anyone on flooring the most important thing is to get it done right. I did research on alot of different flooring companies and visited multiple showrooms before we settled on Peoples Signature Flooring, which was the right choice. Robert will come to your house with samples (they have no physical location with a showroom) and he will show you lots of different samples in your home and in your lighting, which is really important. He will challenge with different types you to make sure you are able to choose the correct product for yourself. It can be overwhelming with so many choices but he does a great job at narrowing it down for you. We ended up choosing a high-end french white oak wood floor, new tile in bathrooms/laundry, and carpet for bedrooms (including the upgraded 10lb pad...very nice to walk on!). And we did a stacked stone fireplace. Demoing the entire house's flooring is not pretty but the crew that Robert employs is incredibly professional and they work hard. This isn't a crew that is out laying in the yard half the day. They WORK and they are very good at what they do. Julie handles the scheduling and deliveries, making sure all the logistics are taken care of. She goes out of her way to make sure everything is done, calling with frequent status updates and checking in to make sure you are comfortable with everything being done. She even ordered a box of wood for us ahead of time so we could make sure we were comfortable with the high-variation hardwood we chose. The installation went great. The different crews (carpet, tile, hardwood) did amazing work. And they are true artists. They make sure it is installed correctly and is aesthetically pleasing with regards to the stone or hardwood patterns, something we were concerned about, but turns out we didn't need to be. So happy we chose Peoples Signature Flooring. The results were worth it. Have had multiple "I love your hardwoods" comments from guests!

So, we had Peoples Signature Flooring install these great hardwood floors in spring of 2017. A then a few months later we had a fridge water leak damage the floors in the kitchen/dining/hallway. It was a complete nightmare having our new floors (plus cabinets/wall/baseboards) ruined by water/mold damage. We were incredibly happy with the job that Peoples Signature Flooring did installing the initial floors so we naturally went with them for the floor replacement, the last step after using other companies to do the mold remediation and kitchen wall/cabinet rebuild. Robert went above and beyond, helping assist with the insurance claim and even calling the adjuster himself and talking them through why their original estimate was low due to them undervaluing the flooring costs. That got the insurance company to change the estimate to reflect the actual flooring cost. Can't thank Robert enough for that. The hardwood crew was able to seamlessly weave the new kitchen/dining/hallway hardwoods into the other study/living room hardwoods without any sign that they were installed at different times. They did an amazing job and the floor looked like it did before the water damage. Once again Robert, Julie and their crew did an outstanding job!

This is the 2nd time I've used Peoples. Robert and Julie Peoples are absolutely the BEST to work with. They are not in it just for the sale, but truly care about helping you solve the problem and respect your budget. On top of that, their crew are really talented. They don't just install floors - they are craftsmen who take great pride in their work. Julie and Robert are always easily accessible and responsive. In our case, we needed to repair floors damaged by a sewer backup. It was a tedious job because we were trying to patch a continuous wood floor and tile a powder room. Their team accomplished the impossible on the wood floors - you cannot tell where the patch is and they even had to use a different width board because the original flooring had been discontinued. The tile work was done flawlessly, and Robert was fantastic at steering me to the right showrooms/suggesting products, etc. I cannot say enough nice things about Peoples. This was a small job, and frankly a real pain. Most companies would not have taken this on. Their attention to detail (both Robert & his install team) are unmatched. They actually care. And Julie - well, she's just about the most pleasant person to work with and highly responsive. To sum up - I would happily have them all around my dinner table which I think speaks volumes.

Robert came with all his samples, options and great ideas. He helped me pick a carpet that would blend, wear well and also recommended a pad that would work well in my situation. He listened to my needs and wants, gave some suggestions and we were off to the races. Installation went well, the guys were on time and courteous and even came up with a better idea for a very small patch. It all went great and I will definitely use them again. Julie and Amy in the office were great. I really appreciated Robert's suggestions and the install went really well. And my hips and knees feel better already (after only a few days) and people have commented on my nice carpeting!

From consult to completion, Julie and Robert Peoples were fabulous. They listened to what I needed, matched product to the need, and checked in each day of the project. I was delighted with their work.
