Robert Peoples came to our home with many samples of flooring and carpet. He was knowledgeable about each product and patient as we made our decisions. His installers were fast, efficient, professional and a pleasure to work with. They did a great job! Robert followed up to look at the job and provide cleaning supplies for the wood floors.

Robert came out to my house with tons of samples, He spent the better part of 2 hrs. going over floor samples, laying them out, comparing them with others, we settled on one and scheduled the work. The day the work was to be done, the crew showed up on time, and went to work, tearing out, prepping and installing. They moved all the furniture around and when the floors were done, they put felt protectors on the bottoms of all my furniture. I provided the felt. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had with any kind of contractor. I used to be an insurance adjuster and wished that I had the caliber of this company with all of the contractors I used. Originally, we had discussed moving in about a year, but I love my floors so much, I think we will postpone those plans. I do know that if and when we do move and need hardwood floors installed, Peoples will be the only ones I will call. At the end of the day, the crew cleaned up and left us with gorgeous floors and absolutely no mess. The furniture was all put back in place and we just sat and gazed at our beautiful floors

I adore this company! Julie and Robert are absolutely outstanding at delivering quality results from start to finish. From the beginning all the way through the experience, they have been extremely responsive and patient with my decisions and feedback. Robert spent many hours researching flooring options that would fit the design I had in mind. Julie has walked me through the process and stayed in regular touch with me regarding scheduling. Their mobile "warehouse" is incredible, with hundreds of surface options, colors and patterns. It's very convenient way to quickly get started on designing something truly fantastic. I have had a wonderful experience with them and their team and will not hesitate to use them for my next project.

Peoples Signature Flooring helped me solve a problem created by poor work of another carpet installer. My carpet had begun to buckle at the top of the stairs and at the doorway to 4 bedrooms. I certainly didn't want to work with the original company again and I was so grateful that Peoples agreed to repair our carpet. They were wonderful, prompt and did a PERFECT job. The next flooring job I have, they will be who I call.

Robert and Julie were amazing from our first communication. We had many phone meetings on weekends and off hours even since we had a 2 hour time difference. We were planning all of the work over the phone/email since we were still in California and had not made the move to Texas yet. Robert was very thorough in helping us decide on the carpet we wanted (we visited Lowe's in California and found the carpet we liked, gave the part number to Robert who then went to HIS local Lowe's, found the carpet, then went to the carpets HE carried and found us 100% the exact match). We then got a large carpet square mailed to us so we could see the sample and make sure it was the same, and it was. Once we got to Texas, we met with Robert in person (who was on time, professional, and all around pleasant), and he brought in a bunch of wood samples until we found exactly the one we wanted. He was a wealth of knowledge and gave us all the facts on the choices we made. I felt very comfortable moving forward with People's Signature Flooring. The work was done VERY quickly. Each project was completed in a number of hours. Robert and Julie's guys who did the install were polite and professional. They did a PHENOMENAL job. The floors in our house now are STUNNING. We are so beyond happy with the work done by this company, that we're already planning new projects for them to do! Thanks so much Robert and Julie and crew!! (I have before and after pics, if I can figure out how to load them I will!!!).

We had the Peoples Signature Flooring crew install our new wood laminate and tile floors about 6 weeks ago. We are very pleased with the entire experience. Robert and Julie are not only professional and polite; they are flexible, helpful, and super-easy to work with. Their crew was reliable and trustworthy… and FAST! While having your floors changed is never going to be an easy or a clean process, they made it as pleasant as possible. They did a great job quickly, and we love the results. Even if we could have found another crew as good, we still would not love our floors THIS much if it were not for the excellent guidance from Robert. His suggestions led us to go in another color direction with our wood floors, and we have not regretted that choice once. The new choice fits our style and color palette better than our original choice, and we are very grateful for his help. We highly recommend Peoples Signature Flooring for any of your flooring needs. They will work with any budget (even a very tight one like ours) and will give you great results in your home. We would use them again in a heartbeat!

Floor Coverings International Floor Coverings International, is wonderful and I have recommended them to a lot of people.

A crew of five men arrived exactly as scheduled in the morning. I had removed all smaller items from the rooms to be worked in and the crew dealt with larger items such as beds, dressers, etc. The work was scheduled over two days, so I had packed up a lot of the small furniture and items into one of the bedrooms that was to get new flooring. The crew was courteous, professional, careful, and extremely hard-working. They used large plastic sheeting to cover kitchen counter areas and other places they might be affected by dust from working on concrete slab to get it even. They reached the point where they could work in the room where I had piled up household items, so they proceeded to move it all out into the area where new flooring was already installed and finished up the job in one day. They installed beautiful new hardwood, new baseboards, and cleaned it all up to look absolutely wonderful. I have not one critical word to say about this project. I was extremely pleased that they finished up in one day and that was due to their very efficient work, skill, and a fast pace.

Robert was very careful to help me choose the right floor for my lifestyle. And he made great suggestions for me to consider. I had no idea how to purchase a floor. He just took me straight down the path. And Julie was great working with me in scheduling the installation. Their crew were superb.

I am extremely pleased with the job FCI did. I first contacted Robert back in September or so when I first started thinking about getting new floors, and we talked on the phone and exchanged a few emails as I was still trying to decide on materials. At first, I was leaning towards laminate flooring because I have dogs, and didn't want them to be tearing up wood floors, but Robert suggested I look at some of the harder varieties, and hand scraped engineered floors, which have a more rustic look to them. After I had decided that I was going with hand scraped eng wood, I got 3 bids, including one from an installer that works for a flooring store, and I expected their bid to be low. I knew FCI had a great reputation and I expected them to be more expensive then other places, but the 3 bids I got were pretty close. Once I signed the contract with FCI, things moved pretty fast. They got a box of my selected HW overnighted to me, so I could look at large samples of it in my home, and make sure it's what I wanted. Once I approved it , they ordered the rest, on a Friday, hoping it would come in on Monday, but the flooring did not arrive till Wed. Julie kept in touch with me over the weekend, so I knew exactly what was going on at all times. The demo started on Wednesday, and the crew was very efficient. Although I had been told it might take 4 days to complete the job, by the end of the first day, they were 80% done. The 2nd day, the finished by 3:30. The floors look really great, the baseboards also well done, and after 3 weeks of real life dog-testing, not a scratch! I would recommend FCI to anyone.

Robert and Julie Peoples installed the floor in our new condo. They did an amazing job! It is beautiful and we have gotten many compliments on it. We were faced with removing the existing floor and replacing the carpet and hardwood with different hardwood and tile. Because of my sensitivities and allergies, I am concerned about indoor air quality (IAQ) and Robert worked with me to be assured that the new flooring would not create problems for me. In addition to the research information I provided, he researched on his own and checked faithfully with each supplier of products he used, not only in the flooring, but also in the installation, selecting techniques to help keep volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) out of our home environment. He made suggestions and guided me as we selected which floor to use. His ideas were quite helpful and had a huge impact on the beauty of the overall finished product. We were pleased that he was also able to do a gorgeous tile installation on our kitchen backsplash and niche. We did the flooring before we moved to Austin, and Robert accommodated our schedule, meeting with us when we could be in town. Even when health issues slowed us down, he was patient, considerate and consistent. Julie scheduled each phase of the job and this company and all workmen were prompt, courteous and efficient all along the way. They even came quickly when I panic-called about damage done by movers to one of the stair steps during our move-in, after their job was complete. We will very definitely have Robert and Julie Peoples take care of our flooring in the future and recommend them highly!

Professional, polite, friendly, accommodating, excellent attitude of workers, fast, affordable and quality. I was blown away recently when they sent me a Paula Dean Gourmet Holiday Cake just for being their customer one time. Now, who gives that kind of service any more?! Awesome.

I chose Floor Coverings International because of their at-home service. I'm a high school teacher and didn't have the flexibility or time to shop around. At first, I was concerned about whether they would offer enough of a selection (especially for our media room...we wanted something funky), but when Robert came to our house, he pulled as many samples from his van as I would have found in a brick and mortar store. After we made our selections, their service was impeccable. Julie kept me informed on progress as the carpet was ordered and scheduled, and then on the day of installation, they arrived promptly and did a beautiful job. Not only would I use Floor Coverings International again, I can't imagine ever using anyone else.

Before Robert came out, he talked to me on the phone to see what I had in mind and if he would be the right person for me. (Instead of taking me into using his services regardless of what I wanted.) He was very professional, sent me pictures ahead of time based on what I wanted and brought samples over to the house. I LOVE his pictures of tile installation. He does not install boring cookie cutter tile as everyone else but makes each room unique without being over the top in the installation layout. You have to see his pictures to see what I mean. He spent much time going through our whole house. He found out exactly what we wanted and even advised us out of some high end things we wanted to do which would have given him more money (e.g., hardwood on our grand staircase), super high end carpet when we will move in 5 - 10 years. We would start with him immediately except he made some incredible suggestions about reconfiguring our kitchen with an architect which will change his measurements and thus, his bid. So even though I have not actually used his services yet, I definitely will!

Robert came to our house with carpet samples after we spoke on the phone discussion our needs. He spent a good amount of time showing us the different styles and explaining in detail what the benefits and drawbacks were with each type. He ended up tearing out several of his samples to let us keep while deciding on the color. We placed the order and everything was delivered and installed on time. The installation went faster than originally planned. They worked long hours to finish in 1 day instead of 2. Entryway was covered with paper to minimize traffic in and out of the house during installation. A week later we heard back from Robert that the installer had noticed something strange with the backing of the carpet during the install. Robert was persistent with making sure there was nothing wrong with it and pursued the matter with the manufacturer. Weeks later we heard back that carpet was in fact bad and it had to be replaced again. At no cost they came back and redid the carpet install. Robert and the rest of the staff at FCI were excellent and very helpful in the whole process. Highly recommended.

Robert was very professional, thorough and honest. When he found out we were going to rent out the house as opposed to selling it, he actually downsold himself to a laminate that was more cost effective for rental houses for anticipated wear and tear. I've already recommended him to my friends should they need any flooring work done and will definitely use him again when the times comes.

The two words that best describes Floor Coverings International with Robert and Julie Peoples is Professionalism and Detailed. I live in San Diego, CA. I have a rental property in the Lakeway, TX area. I wanted to remodel my property so I can put it on the market to sell. I saw all the great reviews on Angie's List so I decided to give them a try. I called FCI/Robert and Julie Peoples and ask them to give me some advise and options for my floors and also to take a look at my property and give me some recommendations.. Robert went out of his way on a Sunday evening to visit my property. Robert gave me more than just an estimate. He took the time and provided really helpful insight and information regarding remodeling/design elements that would help me improve me property. I felt that Robert and his company was genuinely trying to help me, and look after my interests and not just someone trying to sell me a bunch flooring. He recommended contractors to install iron ballisters for my stairs, and he also recommended home stagers. Both of which worked out great. In the end, after much decision, I decided to go with the handscraped hickory wood floors in the living room, stairs, and hallways, and carpet in all the bedrooms. Even though I was in San Diego and not at the property, I was informed every step of the way by Robert and Julie on my installation status. They started the work on time, on budgets, and the end results which I did see with my own eye was fantastic. They even undercut my solid stone fireplace that ran the length of my living room so the wood floors would sit underneath the stone. This detail really made a big difference is the look of the living room. Most contractors would not have taken the time to undercut the stone, they would have just put in cheap quarter rounds to cover the edges. I really appreciate how beautiful everything turned out. I Thank Robert and Julie and their well trained crew at FCI for the fantastic work at a very fair price. I would definitely use them again.

We had used Robert and Julie Peoples several years ago for another flooring project in our home (replaced carpet in living room and hallways with hardwood). We had a great experience with them then, so when we decided to replace the carpet in one of our bedrooms that has been damaged by a pet, we gave them a call. Just as last time, they were extremely professional and we couldn't have had a more pleasant experience. Robert is great about matching the right materials for the job, and Julie is great about scheduling and communicating exactly when the crew will be there. Will definitely use again in the future when we are ready to replace all of our carpet.

We decided to finally replace 12 year old builder quality white carpeting in our home, which was primarily the stairs, and full upstairs (3 bedrooms, media room and landing) and the downstairs master, in total approx. 2,000 sq. feet of carpeting. Based on Angie's list and friends, we chose Robert and this company. I have used the big box stores, carpet stores, etc in the past but I wanted the personal attention and design input that this company literally brings to your home, via the van with all of the samples. The initial meeting was good. We had lots of discussion regarding our needs, our goals with our home, our budget, and our likes and dislikes, before settling in on our choices. Robert had lots of different suggestions and I never felt pushed in any direction. He measured our areas and then within a few days, had an official quote. We ordered samples to have for paint selection purposes and then scheduled the installation. The installation went well....they were careful with moving the heavy furniture. (We did all the small cleanup and moving). They worked quickly and had it done in 2 days, and cleaned up afterwards. The seams looked great (could not see them). We were not charged our second half until Robert could personally come out an inspect the job and confirm that we were happy. The final nice touch was when he called me after the walk through with my husband to make sure that I was happy, which I was. He left us with cleaning tips and suggestions and a name of a recommended carpet cleaner for the future. All in all, a great experience. The price we paid was more than we personally had budgeted but we did not look anywhere else so my B rating was not because they were more expensive but just more than we had planned to originally spend....for me service trumped the cheapest deal and I got what I paid for.

Most telling is that this is the second time we use Robert Peoples. He basically did the same scope of work for us in our last house about 3 years ago and were delighted. Robert and his installation crew are real pro's. They are courteous, reliable, and do outstanding work. I would and have recommended him to anyone who asks without hesitation.

We had been mislead for over a week by the local Home Depot which cost us valuable time in getting the carpet replaced in our rental. The experience left us desparate because each days delay cost us rent money. Our realtor referred us to Robert and Julie. Immediately our prayers were answered. Robert met with us within 24 hours, brought samples and measured the space all in one personal visit. In two more days the carpet was installed. There was one place where the grout had deterierated. Robert gave us a separate price for the repair and it was more than expected. Robert agreed to split the difference which was going above and beyond. The carpet was installed professionally and was perfect for the space. We are grateful to find Robert and Julie because we feel we can rely on them for future needs in our home and 3 rentals. We felt like we had been treated like family.

Robert and Julie Peoples are extremely polite and professional. They were flexible in scheduling initial carpet consultations with us. When Robert came over, he took time to explain the various types of carpeting, talked to us about what could and might not work in the areas we were looking at. His samples were good and while they're a little pricier than Lowe's or HD, it's probably because you won't find the quality and designs at the superstores. When we saw the carpet and wondered if the wrong one had been ordered, Robert came to meet us right that evening and compare samples to make sure we were comfortable that the right material had been delivered. They were flexible in terms of scheduling the carpet installation, especially since we were trying to get the carpeting done right behind painting and before the movers came in with our stuff. Tight logistically, but they worked with us to make things happen. All in all, lovely folks to work with and highly recommended.
