Second time using this company. Both times, services were prompt and efficient. Bob & Julie (owners) are amazing to work with! We will use them again and again! Great company!

They had to cut the flooring to fit around the fireplace and baseboards. It was a tremendous amount of work and they were able to finish in 5 days. The crew was very professional and courteous. They did an excellent job and they definitely knew what they were doing. The floor looks wonderful. The crew was very knowledgeable and worked hard. I hardly noticed them taking breaks. They even stayed late to get the work done and we even told them to go home one night. The people that laid the carpet were just as great. Everyone cleaned up well and were respectful of my house. The owner was very nice and courteous when we were getting bids. He brought tons of samples for us to go through. He was very professional and followed up extremely well. After the work was done, they even sent flowers to us as a thank you. I felt they went way out of their way to make sure we were happy and that the job was done perfectly.

We have high expectations, and Robert and Julie, and Tony and his team exceeded them. Robert initially came to the house and spent 3 hours with us explaining everything about hard wood floors and really listening to what we wanted. He brought in well over a dozen samples ( this was following our completing a number of questions in advance) and made it clear that there were no hidden costs and the price was inclusive of removal of our old carpeting, grinding and readying our floor which was concrete and was not smooth, and installation and finishing of the new wood floor. Julie also followed up with us regarding installation and checked to see if we were satisfied with the outcome. They are a business that realizes that quality is of paramount importance and the service component is critical to their success. They have an installation team that was incredibly professional, and were truly craftsmen. They were there on time, explained everything to us, were courteous and unbelievably skilled. They left our house with no mess and were perfectionist in their approach. Tony and his team were incredible and Julie and Robert understand the need to not only make the initial sale, but provide a great customer experience. I teach customer service and would recommend them without reservation, and may even use them as an example of exemplary customer care. They are an example of what small businesses should strive to be!

Robert was very knowledable, professional, and helpful. We talked for about 5 minutes and he said he'd research which flooring I will need and he said he'd call me back.

Getting our floors redone has been a great experience. We got quotes from several companies and Peoples was very reasonable, especially for everything they did. The service was excellent. Robert came to our house and helped us pick out the floors we wanted. He took his time and showed us lots of samples, always keeping our budget in mind. It was incredibly helpful to see all the samples in our home and side by side. We also felt like he helped us make an informed choice so we were able to get the most for our money. Once the work began the process was very easy. The work crew was efficient and very responsible. Some days they had to let themselves in and this was not a problem. Julie called every day to see how the work was going. Overall it was pretty painless and we are incredibly pleased with the end result.

After meeting with Robert at my house, he was able to provide me with numerous samples of my specified color ranges with a textured pattern. After a selection was made we were on their schedule within two weeks. Although the job was estimated to take two days, Robert's professional, dedicated and hardworking crew were able to complete the work in one day (10) hours!

When I contacted them, the owner was extremely pleasant, professional and accommodating. She said that they did not typically make repairs on flooring installed by someone else, but when I explained the problem and why I did not trust the installer to make the repair properly, she said she would send her most experienced installer the next day since he was finishing up a job early. She gave me a quote, which was reasonable given the severity of the problem and the trip out for such a small job. The installer arrived as promised and took care of the problem beautifully. The height of the carpet was lower than the tile next to it, causing a space under the carpet that made it flex and stretch when walked on. He said the installer should have added a shim under the carpet next to the edge to keep the carpet from pulling away from the edge of the tile. He added the shim to equalize the heights and re-stretched and tucked the edge of the frayed carpet so it looked as good as new. These people represent a quality of service I seldom see anymore, so they will get all my flooring business from now on.

Very well. I have used People's Signature Flooring over 10 years ago, and for this small job recently. Always professional and great to work with. Many friends have been referred to them.

Let me start by saying I give only the highest praise to Robert and Julie Peoples, owners of Peoples Signature Flooring. I've never had such a good experience with a service company, especially on a larger project where so many things could have gone wrong. I will absolutely use them again and recommend them to everyone I know. My girlfriend and I found a town home-style condo in the Barton Hills area and instantly fell in love - we've always lived in south Austin and this is the perfect proximity to our families. The caveat: the former owner had what we consider tacky taste and also tried to do all of the home improvement herself. She installed flagship slate inside, which could have been attractive... on a patio. As is, the installation was full of "toe stumpers" - I couldn't take two steps barefoot without stubbing my toes. It also had really large grout lines that we just knew would never look clean (we're both clean freaks). This floor had to go! It was installed throughout the entire downstairs area and on the risers of the stairs. On the stair treads and upstairs there was older hardwood installed, it just wasn't our taste and hadn't been taken care of well. Because we were removing the risers of the stairs, the wood on the treads would have had to go as well. The hardwood upstairs just wasn't well kept - I'm sure we would have spent just as much money and probably more time rehabbing it than to just replace it. I have an extremely full schedule right now heading up an entirely new division at work. Let's just say my schedule is not easy to work around. Robert and Julie fit us in on a Friday night, which was above and beyond. Robert brought dozens and dozens of wood samples into our home (in the pouring rain, no less!). I didn't think my girlfriend and I would be able to easily agree on the same floor because I like classic and she likes more forward styles. We honestly could have purchased the very first floor he showed us and would have been happy. This was a result of him actually *listening* to us on the phone about what we were looking for and striking a balance between our wants. Boy, am I glad we didn't stop there! We narrowed it down to about half a dozen choices. He's extremely passionate about what he does and certainly knows what he's talking about. What may have been most helpful in our case was seeing several planks of each style of board laid out rather than having to visualize what it would look like from just a sample board. He had photos of previous installations. We eventually decided on a floor that strikes the perfect balance of what we are looking for. The [fabulous] crew came out shortly thereafter while we were out of town and started to do the takeup of the tile. Underneath, however, was some sort of quick bond concrete rather than a slab. Our condo is on the second and third floors of our building. If they tried to jackhammer the tile out, we would have had to pour a new slab. Rather than discovering this challenge and backing out, Robert took it as a challenge to find the best installation method and did his research. His crew sanded down all of the tile and formed the perfect subfloor for our glue down installation. I think this was probably a lot more work than is normally required. His crew turned it around and did the most amazing job. They even worked on a Saturday to help us get this done before we had to be out of our old place!! We have a floating installation upstairs and glue down on the stairs and downstairs. I'm not exaggerating when I say that ever single person who has stepped foot in our condo makes a comment about the beauty of our floors. We were still uncertain about what to do in the laundry room and powder bath downstairs so I gave Robert and Julie a call several weeks after the wood floors had been done and we were moved in. He had us visit a few tile stores at our convenience and we picked a really nice mosaic tile. Of course, Julie fit our installation in in no time. The tile is even cut to the wood so that no transition moldings were needed. We never touched our master bathroom because that is a whole job of its own. When we make it to that project, I will be calling Robert and Julie. They take pride in their work and their business. They have since called us several times to make sure we are happy with our selection, the installation, etc. I don't know what they could have done better.

Robert Peoples was the soul of patience while we picked out the wood we wanted. He is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of flooring, woods and what's required for doing a quality job. He and Julie were very cooperative about scheduling to work around our painters. They went the extra mile over the stairs, having the wood especially milled so it would look good. At the end there were some small scratches near the front door. Robert repaired them. When I went back to look I couldn't even find where they were! This was a great experience. I highly recommend them.

We made an appointment for Robert Peoples to come to our home to review samples he brought with him. He was punctual and very thoughtful and patient as we were deciding. He listened carefully to my wife as she outlined her preferences and needs for the new carpet. His crew of two men arrived on time for the appointed day of installing. They were careful with furniture they had to move and left nothing to clean up afterward. The carpet we chose was a little on the higher end of the price range, but we are happy with it.

Robert Peoples met us at the house and proceeded to spend 4hrs going over wood samples and layout choices. He was willing to spend whatever time it took to insure that we ended up with exactly the flooring we wanted. Julie Peoples worked us into the schedule very efficiently, and was able to reschedule promptly when the closing was delayed. The crew arrived on time, and were very professional. They undercut the stone hearth so that it appeared the hearth was built on top of the wood flooring. They mated the wood planks perfectly to the adjoining tile floors so that no transition strips were needed. The flooring is flawless, and the house is just stunning with it. The crew cleaned up well after the job. We are very pleased.

I knew I had to get new carpet in order to put the house on the market and the stager recommended Robert Peoples. Cleaning our old Berber was not an option due to style and , well, years of kids and dogs. It just would not have been nice to sell that Berber to someone. Robert was punctual and brought his expertise on flooring which really helped me make a decision for a quality neutral carpet that shows well, wears well and feels good to the buyer. As a matter of fact, the first carpet he showed me and the one that he thought would work with our situation is the one we eventually went with but he urged me to look at others just in case. I love working with professionals - people who really know their business, not just a guy on a showroom floor that does not understand installs completely or light on how the carpet would match up in a big room. Robt explained all that and took it into account. He mentioned how the height would change and what that would mean with doors, how to solve that with a dense pad that is only 3/8". You don't get those ins and outs of it all at Home Depot! I learned the hard way a long time ago to go with the most professional, the learned, and go with the guy that owns his own business and has a track record of excellence. Sometimes it might cost just a bit more (and I don't believe that People's flooring did) but it sure saves headaches to deal with professionals that are directly invested in your success and happiness. All my contact with Peoples Signature flooring went great, from scheduling, and their working with a needed change in scheduling, to , well, every step was smooth and pleasant. Also, there were a few nicks on the stained baseboards but that was easily remedied and to be expected with the install. The installers were diligent and quiet and punctual. The install took the exact amt of time that Robt had prepared me for. The installers were able to match up the carpet in a big room so perfectly that I can't see the line. Wow .We are very pleased and pleasantly shocked at the wonderful difference a nice simple neutral carpet makes in our home for sale. PS: Always get a good pad:-) I knew that from before but Robt said the same.

Great experience. Robert and Julie do a wonderful job. They kept us in the loop the whole time and followed up when the job was dome to be sure we were satisfied with the work. Robert helped me pick out hardwood flooring for our master bedroom and closets. There was so much to choose from but he was great at narrowing down the choices to what he thought I would like. The installers came right on time and were very professional. It took one day, in and out and it looks beautiful. We have two more projects and we will definitely be using People's.

Real craftsmen's and they knew what they were doing. Were polite, clean, quick, but thorough.

I was trying to change my upstairs carpet to match downstairs one. Julie who did scheduling set up very realistic expectation with me regarding lead time and explained why. Robert who looked at carpet via the picture I sent him clearly told me it's an outdated type and they don't have. But he went into all details telling me what type of carpet that is to help me call around to see if I still can find the match. Both of them were very professional and responsive. I think their business will stay very well with this level of professionalism and long term approach with customers.

Arrived on time. Did a meticulous job. Took 2 days, which we were quoted. Liked their music : ) Definitely use them again!

Robert and Julie Peoples, and their installers, took good care of my kitchen and bathroom reflooring. Robert came out to the house with samples, gave me a quote on the spot. Spent the time to show me many samples. It was reasonable and we went with them. Originally thought the work could be in one day, but would be about 3 weeks before the work could be done. Julie called with a change of plans and got the work done 5 days after the quote. Bruno and his helper were fast, professional and did a fabulous job. Left the house in great order. Payment was easy. We will call them in June for flooring in our south Austin home!

Robert came to our home and showed us samples. He took all the time neeed and installation was scheduled within a week. Worker arrived on time and did excellent job. We had a broken tile butting up against the new carpet and they replaced it for us!! Very professional and a joy to work with. We ended up not liking the carpet we had chosen. The paperwork for us to get a manufacturer satisfaction guarantee with it. They were successful getting for us before exchanging the carpet. We would definitely recommend them highly. Pleasure to work with and high quality work.

I initially made contact with Julie, who asked me to send pictures of the existing hardwood flooring that we were trying to match for the master bedroom. We went back and forth a couple more times and more pictures were requested. Robert followed up with me via e-mail stating that he guessed the existing flooring looked to be a manufacturer whose flooring they did not carry. I didn't have any boxes of the old flooring, so he was sleuthing on the internet using clues we found on the quarter-round that was left behind. He suggested I contact the maker of that flooring to find an installer that dealt with them locally. I was a little taken aback that he didn't offer to at least come by and show me some samples of flooring they do carry that would match or come very close. I expressed that I'd be OK with another manufacturer's flooring as long as it was pretty close to the same look and feel. The conversation ended up with him offering to come by with some samples, but I had a bad taste in my mouth and cancelled the appointment later.

From start to finish, it was a pleasure working with Robert and Julie Peoples. He came over to help us choose the wood and carpet and made some suggestions for keeping the job within our budget. It never felt like he was trying to sell me more expensive products, he just wanted us to get the best value for our home. Installation took place over 2 days and both crews were very friendly and efficient. The installation of the carpet did take longer than I had originally been told. I had to leave but I trusted them to lock up and they were thorough. The hardwood looked incredible, they did an amazing job. Every detail was perfect, and our house sold within 2 days of being on the market.

Robert and Julie were great to work with, Robert came to my house and brought products so I could view the flooring in my own house and lighting. He explained each product stayed within our budget. We had looked around at other flooring companies and had gotten estimates that I thought were ridiculous. I am so happy with our new floors the quality of the carpet and planks is just beautiful the baseboards are beautiful and just makes everything look so elegant. Julie is such a joy to talk to, she scheduled the installation the week that I needed the job done called me and kept me up to date on all the deliveries I would be receiving. The job took 2 days to complete right on schedule The installation guys did a great job very professional. Now that we see how great the rooms look we want to do the rest of the house as well. We will be using signature flooring again, I wouldn't use anybody else.

First the owner came to do the estimate and show me all of his materials right in my home. He worked with my price range and offered me quality materials at a great price. Then he even touched up dings in existing flooring with no charge. He left free wood floor cleaning supplies. His integrity caused me to know that I didn't want to do business with anyone else although I had searched the competition thoroughly. The work was completely timely (wood flooring, carpet, and tile), in a timely manner with no hassle for me. They go above and beyond. It looks like I spent double what I paid. Great workmanship!

The estimate was very reasonable. A date for the work was agreed upon. The crew arrived when we were told they would and finished in one day. They did a very professional job, cleaned up after they finished and the results were exactly as we envisioned. Hopefully we will never need this service again but if we do, we would not hesitate to ask Robert and Julie for their help.

I got this company's name from Angie's list and was very impressed with the ad. I called left a voice message and they returned my call several days later. I basically had to keep calling them to get a reply. I sent them pictures of my current flooring that I wanted to match. I called numerous times and was told that they are doing their research. After several weeks I called back a little frustrated after following up with them and especially when they gave me a quote of $10,000.00 and they never came to my house to measure. The $10,000.00 quote I was told was based on their experience over the years and was based on the area that I described over the phone that I wanted the flooring installed; $10,000.00 without me even determining the type of wood I wanted, etc.etc. I never called them back after the last phone call. Note the approximate date for the last contact with this company is an estimate, I recycled all of the paper work with my telephone call logs months ago.
