It was great to get the new keypad, but I was a little disappointed that they left all the accumlated debris on the edges. The noise is greatly reduced, but I kinda felt they just did the minimum. It would have been nice if they had just run a cloth on the edges while they were working on it. I don't think that would have taken much effort at all.

Attentive professional service. Changed rollers and refurbished garage door and attached a new door seal.

He sent me an e-mail through Angie's List which confused me. But after a short time we e-mailed each other and talked on the phone to set up the appointment. My husband and I are very happy with the work. The garage door opens quietly after the tune up. We chose to replace the rollers to prevent problems in the future.

Service call made by what appeared to be a sub-contractor--different name on truck. He must have been at house a total of 15 minutes, including installation of rollers. It felt that he spent more time reviewing the coupon than doing the work.

The work was explained clearly in advance and the repair person was friendly and open.

First of all, the provider sent out a person who appeared to be a subcontractor. His truck had a completely different name then the one that I thought would be coming out. I had purchased a "tune-up" you might say for one of my two garage doors for $89. I had been having some intermittent trouble with the one door. As it turned out, the provider said the problem stemmed from bent panels on the Garage Door and they needed to be replaced or I could replace the entire garage door. He provided a quote for both. I was then told that they would not apply the $89 tuneup that I had previously paid to the price of the repair, but that I could have the other Garage Door tuned up for that purchase. That was not needed nor wanted. I argued awhile with the provider's subcontractor who kept saying he couldn't do it. When I finally told him to leave and that I would take it up direct with Angies List and my credit card company, only then did he say well "maybe" he could subtract the $89 from the total charge to replace the panels. The installer kept trying to call the provider. I called and left a message as well about my concern with this entire approach. I never received a return call. Unfortunately, after I agreed to have them do it since I had already paid $89, I found out upon further analysis, from other providers, that I could have actually had the job completed for $200.00 or less (average cost to replace a single panel on a single garage door can be around $60 each). So needless to say, I am not happy that I overpaid at least double because I bought a Big Deal and at that point felt I had to try and use that purchase. I doubt I will ever do it again, particularly under those terms and conditions, if not fully refundable. Typically, I would get multiple quotes to perform a repair and would not be held over the barrel by one provider who ended up charging me way more than the average. The installer did not have the panels in his truck, so he did have to return a few days later to complete the job. He did do a good job of replacing and installing the new panels; however, as mentioned previously, I felt like I was backed in a corner and completely overpaid for this repair and that the provider was unresponsive. I would have much preferred to have the Garage Door replaced for the same price by another company. Followup: On 9/15, I sent a "preview" copy of this review to the Service Provider and requested a response again PRIOR to posting this review. It is 9/30 and I still have not received a followup call or email so I am posting this review.

It went fine once they got started.

We were very pleased with the service and the professional, friendly manner the service rep performed it. Will definitely call them again if we have problems with the garage door or the opener. We thought the cost of the service very fair for the work done.

It was ok, very professional. But need to have better clean up job after finished it.

It went fine. They were efficient and very courteous. I was not out there in the garage so I did not witness what he did but we did get a receipt which stated all the things he said he did. I believe they did what they said they would do, the door was working very quietly and everything they did seemed to be just fine.

When the service person showed up he had us down for the wrong thing. Once I showed him the coupon it took a little bit for him to understand what he was there for. I asked him to do what was listed on the coupon and if there was anything else that needed to be done to let me know (we thought there was a roller stopper that needed replacing). He said he'd have to charge extra about 5 times. I told him that was fine. But it's extra. Finally he got to work. Once he did, everything went smoothly, nothing needed to be replaced and it's now the quietest it's ever been.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went great. I spent an additional $250.

My experience with this contractor went really well. The technician they sent out came right on time. I had purchased an Angie's List big deal for $49. They analyzed my garage door and advised me to get the new plastic rollers. Honestly I thought the spring was worn out, but they adjusted that so the spring did not need to be replaced. I am delighted they convinced me to get the new rollers. The plastic rollers made a huge difference. I would describe the door as ultra quiet now, not just quiet. I felt this contrator was extremely honest, very knowledgeable and fast. I do a lot of my own repairs in my house, but paying a professional for this type of work is worth it, especially when the contractor does a great job and is friendly.

The man called to let me know he would be a little late then showed up as expected. He told me what he was going to do, and what the offer didn't include. He finished the job very fast. I had to call him about not having any lights in my garage, but he said that was electrical and he didn't do anything to not have lights. I discovered the light for my garage was unplugged from the garage door opener. Evidently the light in the garage door opener went out at the same time, but I fixed all of that myself. There was a fairly large spot of grease left at the top of the outside of the garage door.

Communication on scheduling was poor, but when they finally arrived to do the work they did an excellent job.

Fast, quality job but I got several calls after the job was done asking to make an appointment. There seems to be some confusion of who does what and when jobs are completed.

We purchased a Big deal. They did everything the Big Deal entailed. It turned out fine. They showed up on time and when they said they would. They were going to come one day and they called to reschedule and it was perfectly alright by us. In fact, it actually worked out better for us. We have tune-up done every couple years. They got it all done in about 45 minutes. The garage door was really quite after they left. We were very satisfied. He showed me all the things he did so I understood what took place.

Tech showed up on time, was knowledgeable and professional. Answered a couple of questions that I had. Replaced rollers and lubricated system. I'll call them again when I need service.

I purchased one of the big deals to have by garage door serviced. The work was completed on time and the tech person was super and informative. Would use again.

Ivan and his team replaced all rollers on two garage doors, replaced the battery on another, and brought out a new remote to our location. I love working with owner-operators and Ivan's the owner. He and his son did the work. There was some confusion on one part of the order tied to the new battery, but Ivan quickly clarified it and everything then went off without a problem. Would use them again.

Great! Very nice gentleman, price was low, did extra for me at a nice price, too. I would definately recommend Payless because I believe with this business you get the advice and work you need but none of the flash and pressure of a larger company. Perfect!
