Description of Work: Replaced both garage door openers and adjusted both doors, railings, and rollers. Very professionally done, both doors made a lot of noise before they came out and now they are quiet and smooth with keypad remotes on outside garage walls.

Description of Work: They repaired the rollers and some other parts on one garage door and installed a new garage door as well. When I called, they told me they could get to my home within two hours-which seemed like a miracle. And the person I talked to was a little later than expected due to traffic, but he came within a very reasonable amount of time and did a great job.

Description of Work: This provider has a $99 flat fee for service, and you also pay for parts. Well, in my case, all that was needed was to reinstall a screw and he insisted that his policy is still the $99. Oh, and yes, I had the screw. He also tried to tell me I needed an entire new garage door system. I didn't go for that, so then he tried to tell me that I needed to replace the 8 rollers on the sides of the door because they had become somewhat warped over time, were putting pressure on the chain, and that's why the whole thing didn't work. Cost: $10/roller for 8 rollers - without even looking at any but one. My friend came over from across the street, saw the screw on the ground, and started asking about it. This caused Mr. Payless to be rude to my friend, who left. When I refused to pay $99 to have him put the screw back in and told him that his inflexible policy caused him to lose me as a customer, he walked off in a huff. He was so angry he threw his ladder into the bed of his truck with such force that it jumped out the other side and into the road. Never again will I contact this provider. Another provider came out the next morning, I played dumb but did show him the screw and also asked him about rollers causing the problem. He fixed the problem for under $50 and didn't try to sell me anything, let alone an entire new system.

Description of Work: Replaced broken garage door spring. Company was very responsive. Same technician who previously serviced the door came on time and then quickly replaced the broken spring. Technician was efficient, professional, and personable. I recommend Payless Garage Doors.
