Did not break anything. Were careful. Three young men--2 were experienced and the third definitely not.

NorthStar Moving was top notch. First, Gil came and gave me an estimate. He was professional above and beyond the call of duty... as I had to move the moving date TWICE during close of escrow, and it was no problem! Gil gave me a max price it might be... even though it is billed by the hour, and could be less. GOOD NEWS: It was several hundred LESS than the estimate... The guys did it faster than they had to, basically. On the day of the move, they sent 5 guys, and 2 trucks. The packing was fast and careful (we had no breakage at all) and the unpacking went just as smoothly. I have had bad experiences with ANOTHER company in the past, and so I was dreading this move. But NorthStar, you were simply amazing. Thank you to Gil, and the movers Thomas, Edwin, Israel, Jaime and Carlos. I don't think I'll hire anyone else again ever.

I wanted them to do in house moving and move furniture around in my house. They would not come for the amount of the coupon and only wanted to come do the work if there were additional costs. They were not rude. However, they were very firm. I did not have the work done and I had deal refunded.

They were good. They were quick and they covered some of my stuff so it was okay. They were great and professional.

My wife and I are beyond grateful that we called NorthStar to help us with our move! From the moment I called and made the reservation, the entire team was pleasant and eager to help with what is undoubtedly a stressful day. Fortunately the crew that came to our condo were the epitome of what you imagine a moving company should be. Thomas, Antonio, and Randy were punctual, professional, and proud to do their job. They hustled like Superheroes on a mission and had a smile on the entire time. They took extra care to make sure our belongings were taken care of and were quick without being careless. We were so relieved that we had three exemplary movers who brought their A-game and we emphatically recommend anyone looking to move need look no further and just call NorthStar!

Follow up to this review: North Star called and arranged for the last piece to be moved at no cost. They were extremely responsive and courteous, and at this point I would be happy to recommend them or use them again.

Very well! Did my entire move in only 2.5 hours, and knocked off a good amount of the price. I would definitely recommend.

The move went smoothly. It took approximately 4.5 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment and a storage closet packed full of stuff into a 2 bedroom, 2 bath. There were three movers and a medium-sized truck. They tried to use as little material as possible to safely wrap everything in shrink wrap and tape. For the materials that they did provide, the prices were reasonable and the indicated price was including all materials that were used. We didn't use the packing service, but packed everything ourselves ahead of time. I would definitely recommend Northstar moving.

It went extremely well! Jayciel, Luis E and Javier arrived right on time and got started. They first had to figure out how to park their rather large truck in a somewhat dense neighborhood, not an easy task. After explaining the charges and terms, they got promptly to work. Their professionalism was obvious by the way they picked the order of loading their truck. Jay, who was their lead, communicated very well, asking all the right questions, and giving back excellent answers to all our questions. They were all affable, efficient, and careful. I was especially concerned about some of the electronics, including our plasma TV, and was glad to see all items made it safely. This was a tough job, and frankly, we weren't as ready as we should have been for the move, but they were all very patient, and helped us at every turn. Most of all, they were very conscientious about their job, which we very much appreciated. This was demonstrated when Jay pulled up in a truck the next day to drop off a small shelf for a desk that we hadn't even knew was missing! We were all very impressed and thankful for this crew. I would gladly recommend them for any move. Job well done!

It went really well. We had them load up our household goods that were already boxed. We didn't have any issues with anything getting broken. They were not the cheapest, but we were overall satisfied.

Good experience. Team of three guys, moved quickly, wrapped all items extensively and moved with care. I had a lot of heavy items and they didn't ding me extra, which was nice. I'd use their team again and recommend to others.

Had our move today with a crew of 5 led by John Henry Wilson III. The whole process of setting up the move from the detailed estimate by Gil Ben Haroch and great customer service from Ana and Jessica at the office made a normally very difficult experience a real pleasure. The whole crew, from Jose, Mark, Sushi, And Jamie worked really hard and moved like lightning...they were in and out in about 3/4 of the estimated time. All in all - a great experience. We had been really stressed before, but are feeling good (if a bit tired) now.

On the whole, this move went very well. The NorthStar representative, Ron Cohen, was very attentive and thorough in his assessment of our needs and was explicit about how the costs were analyzed. The crews at both Los Angeles and New Hampshire were focused, well trained and hard working. They worked quickly and were considerate. The pack-out was surprising because the crew showed a extraordinary care toward our belongings. They worked at a very reasonable pace in order to take the needed time in wrapping and packing our items. The New Hampshire crew was very obliging and moved items among rooms, reassembled furniture, etc. as we needed them to.

Nothing was broken during the move, but it has split move so some of things that needed to have stay got packed away. Some of the boxes went into storage and one box in particular was labeled fragile and I’m not sure if was placed appropriately in the storage unit. Overall, it was okay. There were additional fees for the boxes and labor and I felt it was expensive.

It was a small move from a small house to an apartment. Went very smoothly and arrived on time. Had all materials that they needed. Explanined the process on what they needed to do for this move. Gave a discount when I paid in cash. Were very cautious about moving some difficult bookcases without damaging walls or staircase. Chris Harmon, Philip Facciola and Lamar Parker were the guys who helped move. Received Angie's List deal and that's why I used the provider. Would recommend to family and friends and will be using them again.

We only moved 20 miles away so we didn't want to spend a crazy amount. Northstar gave us a really great price and that included a day of prep. Moves are never pleasant and always take longer than expected but these guys worked really hard to make this as painless as possible. They even moved and set up our kids beds right away so we could get them to bed!
