My previous move about a year ago went smoothly. A couple scrapes here and there, but that can happen with any move. The biggest thing is that the movers owned up to what happened and took care of it right on the spot. But seriously, it wasn't major. The furniture tape ripped off the coating off of our $60 desk. It wasn't anything fancy, but they still felt bad and took care of us. Our really expensive furniture was well taken care of and our move was done in 4 hours. I cannot say enough good things about this company. All I have to say is that I wish I didn't have to use them as often as I have, haha. I'm glad to know that Northstar, Jessica, and the movers are there when I need them. And there are ALWAYS coupons available.

They were really good. They were flexible and nice. The people in the office and also the movers were efficient and easy going. They handled it well.

Overall went pretty well. They arrived within the time window quoted and were efficient workers. There was one incident of a toolbox getting damaged and customer service did a great job handling my claim. They wanted to make sure I was happy so despite the insurance only covering a portion of the damage, they covered the rest of the amount anyway and also talked to the movers so the same mistake should not happen again. Very satisfied with their customer service. They also come out and give you a not to exceed price rather than just ballparking it over the phone which is very nice to not end up with a big surprise bill at the end because they did not realize exactly everything that was moving. You know up front that it will not cost more than X.

Everything went really smoothly with my move. First off, they accommodated me each of the several times I changed the date on them because our closing date kept changing. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was really nice and helpful. On the actual moving day, I got a great 3 person team led by Ezekiel and supported by William and Albert. They called me before they arrived and showed up promptly. They wrapped everything up beautifully and I have not noticed any damages. They worked really hard as it was a hot day and both homes have staircases. They all had a great attitude and were really friendly. They put things right where I told them and handled everything with care. It took about as long as I anticipated. The cost did add up rather quickly, but it was money well spent and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. I just hope I don't have to move for another 20-30 years! I appreciate the follow-up by Jessica Flores to see how everything went. A truly professional company.

Amazing. My unit had VERY SLOW ELEVATOR. Due to unexpected repair. It should only have cost me 600 because of slow elevator the bill was high. Since this isn't the fault of the company but the management company I can't fault them on this. They didn't even eat lunch even though it took longer by 2 hrs than usual move of 2 bd room. They were professional and strong and cordial to work with. Placed everything as I asked into new place. This was the best moving experience I ever had! They deserved the tip!!! My experience with Northstar began with Stefy who provided all information needed to choose the best option for this move. Being from out of state and having a one week window of time, I was very appreciative of her knowledge regarding rates and fees. But more than that was her personal approach to enabling this move to be as stress-free as possible. That same professional yet personal attention to detail continued with the three movers--Luis, Martin and Caesar--who were very friendly but also very focused on protecting the furniture and boxes they moved. I was very impressed with this company from first contact to the completed move!

It was great. Adrian, Noe, Misael were gentle with all my stuff and really went the extra mile to keep my new carpets clean.

The services were good, the price was very competitive, and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning to move and I would use the company again in the future.

The 4 workers arrived on time and were wonderful. They were pleasant to work with and did a great job preparing and moving my belongings. Nothing broke and the move went very smoothly. I would definitely use them again.

Wow....what a great experience. Needed to move ASAP. Called Northstar and had the pleasure of speaking with Stefy. She made it so easy to schedule, explained all the details and answered all my questions. Stefy got me set up with movers and e-mailed me a confirmation within minutes. Hourly rate was very reasonable and includes truck and gas. If you need movers I suggest you give NorthStar a call. Make sure you ask for Stefy! She will make it super easy.

The estimator, packers and movers were kind, courteous and professional. All went very quickly and smoothly and the price came out to be even less than originally quoted. I would recommend this company to anyone moving.

Movers showed up on time they Packard my entire house professionally and moved me in to my new home they set out all the beds and furniture and I feel like I never moved, chase,Cesar, Louis, and Juan were the best movers I have ever used and I have used many over the last 30 years. I give them 5 stars and highly recommend them.

It turned out great. There were additional charges beyond the big deal amount because there was more stuff. They were friendly and easy going people. They were very willing to do their job and were happy to do it. My number one reason to recommend them is their very good customer service.

NorthStar of Los Angeles sent us a team of three: Cristo, Orlando, and Henry. These three were exceptional. They not only did the heavy lifting involved, they did it with such professionalism to get the job done in the least amount of time. This saves the homeowner money. The other good news is that the job was done with such care and consideration. I highly recommend this team and this company!
