Description of Work: I had them do an "in house" move - move large pieces of furniture to downstairs storage, rearrange furniture in the house and place furniture in the garage to be sold/given away. Those guys were fantastic! Did I mention that I also had furniture being delivered from a store at the same time? It could have been a disaster but the movers were lovely. Patient, did a thorough job of wrapping furniture for storage and even helped me with where furniture would go! I'd recommend them again.

Description of Work: they did a double move, move from a home to storage and move from storage to new home a month later. | |all in all things went well. The double move was a bit uncoordinated, the front office hadn't gotten the update that it was a double move not single move because it was a late change to the plan (thank you new home builder for delay after delay of completion of new home). | |We had them do significant amount of packing the day before the move. The packing crew was effective. Learning lesson is to make sure that all the boxes packed by packers get labeled for correct room/location. | |The movers on the day of the move out and the move in were professional and efficient and courteous. | |Given the scope and complexity of the move the final outcome was very good. | | | |

Description of Work: Coast to coast move with long interim storage. We are still unpacking but their handling appears to have been stellar. Barring a bit of disappointment that the (3rd party) delivery org was less professional in minor but not deal breaker respects, this has been an impressively flawless experience. |Northstar is not cheap but their packing storage and local living is noting short of 5/5 with third party out if state delivery earning a 4/5.

Description of Work: They handled 2 moves for us. One local in Santa Monica and another moving a partial load to Santa Fe NM. Only issue was some confusion about payment for delivery in Santa Fe. Northstar said I had the option of paying by credit card with a 3% add on fee. Driver said it was cash or certified check only. We sorted it out.
