Description of Work: Local move from Glendale to Long Beach, CA. They showed up on time, were very professional, shrink-wrapped our furniture and moved them to the new house. They were very careful not to bump against the walls (we very much appreciated this!) and made sure that they didn't forget to unload anything from their truck.

Description of Work: They moved our furniture and belongings from our Whittier home to our new home in Fullerton. They were professional, worked diligently the entire time and were courteous and professional.

Description of Work: used these guys over 3 times now. Always have been great although this time the battery died on their truck and I had to jump them and I had 1 item that got damaged. Both not huge deals but every other time it had gone off without a hitch. Would still use them in the future.

Description of Work: Depends on who shows up. One of the workers was exceptionally helpful on return from storage. The fellow in charge was average. In general it was a good service.

Description of Work: The actual move was good. There was a lot of humming about using a credit card (which I was told could be used) and the coupon. I also felt that my questions about the actual timing and calculation (including the double drive time) was brushed aside.

Description of Work: Northstar packed up our home in Westlake Village, CA, and stored our furniture for about 3 months and then moved us into our new home in Carlsbad, CA. The move out was perfect and very nprofessional. The difficulty began when we tried to schedule our move in. It took several weeks of phone calls...many un-returned...to finally get a date scheduled. When the move-in occurred it was a little rocky. It seemed to us that the crew of four was not veryn experienced and they struggled moving in our large pieces and struggled getting them upstairs and into the rooms. I will say that they worked very hard and tried their best, but they seemed to be over matched at times. |We would probably not use them again.

Description of Work: They did a long distance move from California to Washington. They were six hours late picking up my stuff. The drop off was made based on their schedule which I couldn't change to fit mine. It showed up late, glass was nearly all broken, some stuff was missing, they lost my key, and afterwards I noticed I had some of somebody else's stuff. I ended up having to mail their stuff and Northstar said they would reimburse that cost, fingers crossed.
