Description of Work: It has been a while since they worked for me. The did work for me twice. I do not remember all the details with the passage of time. My first review was accurate. Please look at that. I find it annoying that you keep asking me about this company when I have already sent you a review. Don't you keep them? I do not want to be inconsistent in my ratings because of my inability to find old bills and the passage of time. I was very pleased with the work on my chimney and ceiling. I would give them an A for that job. There were a few problems the second time, but overall I gave them am A or B overall. I don't really remember all the details on the way I rated them before, but it was as accurate as I could be.

Description of Work: I paid for interior painting of baseboards and have had two phone contacts with the owner, but he has never scheduled my work. I'm not sure when I bought the service, but it has been at least 9 months, and I am disgusted. I talked with Angie's List about it, but nothing has come of it. I have purchased the paint and all the supplies he told me were needed (which surprised me - I would have thought he would supply whatever was needed to paint, if I bought the paint. I was told to buy two different paint brushes and two kinds of edging tape.) Can you help me? I really want the job done, but at this point I think getting my money back might be the best way to go. Thank you.

Description of Work: This company don't have its own installer, just hire temporary handyman to do installation. So the owner has little control on the service quality. The installing person is not punctual at all. Can't finish on the first come. Always, at least 5 times of reschedules after scheduled time past. After one month, the patio door installation was still not finished. Also, during the last come, he charge me 250 extra labor fee for put patio door trimmer on, which was said to be included by the owner. The quality is not good, the screen broke before put on. Never answer my phone, but does reply on angle's list. Can't wait any more. Hired another handyman to finish the installation for extra money. The last time I contact the owner for the broken screen, the owner told me he fired the handyman already, and I should contact the patio door company for repair the screen. Seems like he shouldn't be responsible for the broken screen? |Don't waste your money and time with this company! This is the worst experience!

Description of Work: Painted a family room with previously painted wood-paneled walls with oil-based paint. We were pleased with both the paint job and the workers.

Description of Work: He painted a portion of the trim in my house. I live in a gated community. I was very explicit when scheduling the service that anyone coming into the property had to have insurance and a license. The first individual who showed up did not have insurance on his vehicle so he was not admitted to the property. The second individual did not have a driver's license. I had to pick him up and drive him to my house to perform the service. He did not tape well so there is paint on my door knobs, hinges, and tile floor. He also did not cleanup thoroughly and left tape in several spots.

Description of Work: Edward came out and assured me that his painters would have no problem doing the touch up I wanted within the coupon price. They painted areas which did not need painting, dripped paint on my porch, living room carpet, wood floors, furniture and left paint hand prints on doors, door knobs and leather furniture. They used the wrong colors and wrong sheens. But, Edward always seemed so concerned and nice. He sent out painters 3 more times to "make it right" until the last painters he sent out refused to do the work as it would take at least 3 days (for 3 men). I now have a bill for "extra" work from Edward, a very messed up paint job and need literally thousands of dollars of painting due to the errors made by Edward's painters. At no time did I change the original scope of work though Edward's painters were so sloppy and appeared to be so inexperienced that correcting the bad work is a much bigger job than the touch up I contracted.

Description of Work: I had purchased a coupon through Angie's list for 16 hours of painting. I spoke to the owner (Edward Trigo) a week ago to try to schedule the services. I explained that I had a very tight window to get the services complete as I am also have other items done on my house. Edward told me he could do the painting on 3/18, but asked me to call back on 3/9 to confirm the time slot. I called back on 3/9, left a message, no one replied. I finally got through on 3/10 only to be informed that the time slots were now all full. To say the least, this is very disappointing. I am having a lot of work done on my house that I was scheduling around the commitment from Net Sliding and Windows. Now, the only alternative that I have is to paint myself for find someone at the last minute. I would NOT use this company. Their commitment, and their word, mean nothing! I will be contacting Angie's List directly to ask for a refund!

Description of Work: Two painters were provided for 8 hrs. each of work. One of the painters seemed to take quite a few smoke breaks. The other painter did the majority of the work. Would prefer to have the one painter. Work was satisfactory. This was a Christmas gift so home owner could move in before Christmas.

Description of Work: I have used them three different times. 1. to repair cracks in my chimney and repair water damage on the interior ceiling. 2. to repair fascia board under gutters and repaint trim. 3. to repair damage between walls and ceilings in several rooms where they separated after foundation repair. They also covered an unused attic fan with wallboard and repaired the popcorn ceiling there and in one bathroom.

Set an appointment for him to come out and see the job and give me a list of supplies to buy. He did not show or call for that first appointment- I had to call him and remind him we had an appointment and schedule another one. He came for the second one, everything seemed fine, I was willing to give him a pass on the no-show. We scheduled the work for yesterday (2/23). No painter showed up. I both called and texted Edward, with no response. It's now been more than a day, no call back, no explanation, no nothing. Done with these guys.

Description of Work: They painted 1 room with 4 colors of paint. First, I called Edward about setting a date. He said he would call back a few days before and come by and give me a supply list. We agreed on a Monday date for the service. By the Friday before, I had not heard back. So, I called and Edward came out on Saturday. He created a supply list with paint, masking tape, and roller heads. I purchased all the supplies he indicated. However, when the painters arrived (early - which was fine), they said I hadn't purchased enough paint (which was true, although a pain since Edward specified the amounts to purchase) and only claimed they had a pole (to extend a roller), a ladder, and some pieces of plastic on their truck. So, I had to supply them with 2 roller mechanisms, the roller heads and everything else to do the job. After several trips to the store, I was getting pretty frustrated. I had talked to Edward about fixing the bubbling on the windowsill in the room and he said they would have the supplies to do this on their truck. However, the painters said they didn't. I had already sanded it down and got it ready to be filled and painted. However, they told me I needed to get spackle. The Home Depot guy suggested a wood filler, but when I brought it back, the painter said it was the wrong thing. He ended up using the item incorrectly, even though later, when I fixed what they did, I found out the stuff I bought could be used the exact same way as the fast-drying spackle I was told I should have bought. The painters did a decent job of putting the paint on the wall. They were not detail oriented though, so I had to spend 2 days afterwards finishing out the room. They also got paint on the carpet and didn't tell me. So, I didn't find it until after I picked up the plastic, 2 days later. They claimed they didn't speak very good English and that was why there were so many misunderstandings. However, their English seemed fine. They were very condescending to me, while I bent over backwards trying to make sure they had everything they needed. By the time the end of the day came (they left 1 hour early claiming it needed to dry - it was already dry), I just wanted them out of my house. My suspicion is that the company supplied this "special deal" to try to revive business in my area. However, the painters were not pleased with what they were being paid to do the job. I have other painting jobs that I need done. However, I will not be hiring this company to do it.

Description of Work: Job was to paint bathroom cabinets, wall baseboards and bookshelves along with doors. I fortunately had all the materials(ie:Penetrol for paint thinning, quality brushes, tape, etc) to ensure a quality job. For the price I got painted what I needed at a great price. Quality comes through the prep so don't count on prep with this deal, just painting application.
