We were scheduled for them to come do the work today. When no one showed up I called them and they said they didn't have us on the schedule until tomorrow. I specifically requested a Friday because my husband works from home on Fridays and would be able to be there. We scheduled for today. He said they wouldn't be able to come out today and do the work. He got really mad and started cussing at me. I will not be using this company.

Response from Net Siding & Windows
hi , my name is edward and i spoke with [member name removed] this morning. she is the one who got disrepectful with me and i called her on it and i never used a cuss word, i asked her to not be disrepectful. she was angry because of the mix up in scheduling, just because you made a purchase from us that does not entitled you to be rude or casr dispersions on my character or our company a simple mistake was done, her name was written on the schedule for friday instead of saturday. hey i employ humans and we humans make mistakes but we keep them very, very low. my apologies if i got a little angry but i don't respond well to people insinuating that i'm an idiot for one tiny mistake. i could not send someone else because we are inundated with work. i offered to be out there tomorrow morning but she said she wanted to cancel so i told her to do so. that's my story and i'm sticking to it and beyond that" i know nothing.e.t.

I had a great experience with Net Siding & Windows. Edward was flexible in accommodating my schedule, and was also able to reschedule me when I had an unforeseen conflict come up. My painter, Peter, arrived right on time and after I gave him a quick overview of the priorities, he got right to work. He did the baseboards, trim and doors in our master bedroom and kitchen, and did a very neat & clean job! My own trim work is pretty sloppy, so I was very glad to have a professional take care of this for me. Thank you Peter and Edward!

They sent two people, but only one person worked and the other watched. They did not complete the wallpaper removal in the 8 hours that I paid for so I was disappointed. I felt like I may have been better off with the one guy working for 16 hours.

I purchased the $199 special for trim painting. I was originally told I was scheduled with a painter who I had seen positively reviewed here on AL, which I felt great about. However, on the day of service another painter (I'll call him Bill) showed up along with an office manager. Both assured me this was normal, though it felt anything but. We went over the work together and Bill got started. He was eager to please, but it was clear early on that he wasn't a painter and this was his first day's work. There's no need for me to recount the time I spent with Bill except to say that he was nice but his work was really bad. It got progressively worse as he realized he was in over his head, until I had to ask him to stop. Trim was 1/2 finished in some spots, there were countless drips (many large and dried), he was skipping some areas, his prep work was sloppy, etc. It was really a mess, and I don't say that lightly. To be clear, Bill is a nice guy who did his best and is just trying to find work. I don't blame him. I spoke with Edward and let him know it was ridiculous to send a painter to my house without having ever seen him paint. I didn't have to ask him whether this was true, because it would have been clear to anyone that Bill needed training to be considered even a decent amateur painter. I paid my hard earned money to hire a pro... quality work with at least decent efficiency. I could have asked friends to come over for some pizza and beer and gotten far better work. To his credit, Edward was sympathetic to my frustration, though I'm not sure he fully accepted his role. He assured me he would call by Friday of the same week to set up a time with his most experienced painter (I'm on a deadline to get painting finished this week). I reminded him that I had wasted an entire day and had to sand and prime several areas that Bill had severely messed up. Additionally, Bill wasted paint, tape, and killed a paint brush, so Edward offered to do something else to help make up for my lost time and money like install a window. I don't need a window, but I appreciated that he wanted to do something to compensate me. I figured we would work that out when we spoke. I never heard from Edward on Friday. Bill however left two messages and wanted to talk with me. When I spoke with him the following day, he asked if he and the office manager could have another chance to "make it right". I clarified that the office manager would not be painting, only serving as a supervisor, and politely declined, though I was fuming inside at being put in the position where I had to tell a nice guy who is looking for work "no". Again, I hired a painting service to send over a painter... not someone on their first day of training. Edward, if you want to hire an inexperienced painter, the costs associated with that are sending them out with a pro as often as needed until they are ready, not to use clients as guinea pigs. I emailed Edward and he assured me that call was made without his consent, but that's really the problem. He allowed an untested painter to come to my house, then didn't communicate with his staff about how it was being dealt with, and finally didn't call me by when he said he would. Each of those are his job, and each could have prevented it from getting to this point. That would have been a great opportunity to go above and beyond (How about sending two painters? Or an extra painter for a 1/2 day?), but he just relented and gave me a refund. Now not only do I not have the painting finished, but I've actually lost a full day of work, effort repairing poor work, and money on supplies dealing with this "special". Edward is a nice guy who strives for good customer service and clearly has some good painters, but I'm still not sure he understands where he went wrong in this process. Striving for good customer service isn't the same as providing it. Saying you don't want to use someone as a guinea pig when that's precisely what you did doesn't help. You have to actually not use clients that way in the first place, rather than just hoping it goes well when you do. Hopefully this review will help.

well in retropect you have to hire new people, the guy came recommended by a friend who told me the guy had experirnce in painting so we hired the guy. obviously he didn't work out. it happens in this business, i offered to make it right tyhe client chose otherwise. all i can say is these happen fromm time to time to every company that stays in business. it's part of the growing pains a company goes through. i still want to make it right if given a chance to do so. i apoligized profusely to the gentleman ,who by the way was very polite.E.t..

The windows are great and look just like I had wanted them to. They're a tan color which looks great with our stone on our house. We had original aluminum windows that were awful - our house was built in 1969. Edward was very helpful and willing to meet us around our busy schedules. He installed half of our windows 2 years ago when we remodeled our kitchen and we finished the project this summer. He was fair in his pricing and we were happy to get the same quality product the second time. He's been responsive and helpful throughout the entire process and we'll definitely work with Edward again for future projects, maybe gutters next go around.

We needed to have an assortment of drywall patches made in different rooms. Some were holes punched through wallboard, others pieces of ceiling which had gotten wet from a roof leak or over a shower so the texture and paint was peeling, a few cracks in the joints between wallboard due to shifts in the structure, and finally we decided to remove wallpaper and go to a painted bathroom. I discussed it all with Toby and prioritized our needs so we could get the most work done effectively in the given time. Toby welcomed my assisting him (taping paper and plastic for masking, removing some wallpaper, fetching materials, shuttling supplies between rooms, etc.). He decided the sequence in which we should perform the numerous tasks, working around the drying times for the mud (float), texture, etc. and coordinated his and my efforts. Everything went as anticipated and we got the priority items handled in the time we had. I'll spend some time tomorrow and the next day painting, once the mud and texture has thoroughly dried, but this was expected and I've painted untold rooms so no problem for me. Toby is quite friendly without wasting your time just yakking. He worked hard the entire time, knew what he was doing, and (important to me) was happy to let me help him. I am very happy with the results. He did a great job of blending the patched pieces into the original wall so you can't tell where the defects were, as well as matching the new texture with the existing (orange peel) texture on the older wallboard. Before leaving he cleaned the rooms up. I would definitely recommend the work Toby did for Net Siding and Windows. We were quite pleased with the price we paid for the work, and I'm somewhat known as tightwad (certainly an unfair assessment). I do most home repairs myself normally and have seen my share of bad work, yet Toby gets 5 stars. Thanks Toby.
Description of Work: We used a "special deal" for wallboard repair, texturing, and painting. Prep work can take a lot of time (always remember this!), so it's not just slap on the mud and paint and run.

The service tech was Toby. He did a great job! I purchased an Angie's Deal for 8 hours of painting and sheetrock repair. Toby was highly responsive and moved across three separate issues that I ask him to address during the 8 hour period. The main issue was the repair of a bathroom ceiling that had been cut open as part of a plumbing repair. Toby did this repair and then addressed two additional painting issues while waiting for the "mud" and texture on the ceiling to dry. Everything was completed during the 8 hour period.

i don/t understand the man's complaint. he gets 8 hours of work for the 199 but you don't get to do 1800 worth for `99. the price i quoted was to do the entire job but he's still entitled to receive the original work he contracted for. if he wants the entire job then i give him a credit equal too what he paid angie's list and by the way this guy had never purchased the deal in the first place so why does he get a review?

Edward was an absolute joy to work with. All communications were very prompt. We bought the deal on a Wednesday and the work was completed on Saturday of that week as we were in the midst of remodeling our newly purchased home. We agreed on what the painters could accomplish in the 16 hours and set the time of the appointment. The painters were prompt, polite and did a phenomenal job. In fact they stayed late to finish everything that had previously been agreed without any additional charge. They even did the vaulted ceiling in our living room. We could not have been happier with the job they did. Their commitment to quality was evident in their work. We will definitely have Edward and his team back to replace windows as soon as we have the budget for them!

With short notice he was able to complete the job in the last month of the year so I was able to qualify for my energy tax credit. His crew worked the week of Christmas to make sure they met my deadline. They came when they promised and finished ahead of due date. During demolition there was no damage incurred during the process. The jobsite was cleaned up at the end of each day and there was no damage to my many plants. All workers were courteous during the process. At the end of the job he carefully went over all maintenance and warranty aspects of the windows and helped with the filing of the energy tax credit. Despite some unforseen difficulties there were no extras tacked onto the original bid. In short he exceeded my expectations and I have since recommended him to my friends. In addition he did a follow up 6 months later to insure everything was still working smoothl

The entry door at my Mother's home was at least 50 years old and fond as we all were of it, it needed to be replaced. It is an odd size in addition to being an outswing door and we talked to more than one handy man who didn't think they could help us. The Net Siding and Windows guys found us a good replacement (with a window for ventilation) at a very reasonable price and did a beautiful job installing it. I was quite worried that removing the old door would damage the limestone façade of the house but really it looks like the new door has been there forever. Great job and excellent service.

They took it all away and put up really good siding for me. It looks like a different house! There was a delay because of plumbing and electrical problems, and even had to rip out the fireplace behind the siding, because it was so rotted! They had to replace studs and frame the hole in the ceiling. It was just a nightmare, but they repaired everything that needed it. The paint job is just beautiful and I am so proud of my home! The workers were just the nicest people and I got along with all of them. I couldn't't have asked for a better crew. I was delighted by the whole experience!

They suggested that drywall would be the cheapest option. We also had moisture problems in the bathroom, so they did major drywall patching, taped, floated, and repaired anywhere that there was a gap. They replaced a large area of drywall around an attic fan as well. They did a great job and it looks so nice! I am especially pleased with the repair work around the attic fan. I needed a flexable schedule, and they were willing to work with me on that. They were very friendly!
Description of Work: They have done 3 jobs for me, both for interior and exterior work. For exterior work, they replaced some facia board as well as repairing the chimney. For the interior job, there were gaps in the ceiling due to leveling the house (done by another company). In February, they repaired this. This also included re-popcorning the ceiling and patching areas. Price is for the interior job only.

The attic crawlway in my garage had a loose piece of trim and the sheetrock was starting to pull away from the ceiling joists. The old piece of sheetrock that filled the opening was broken and would fall out sometimes when the garage door was open. The nice guys at Net Sales and Marketing helped me pick out a suitable disappearing staircase and gave me a detailed quote on repairing the loose sheetrock and installing the new staircase. They arrived to do the work on the day of the appointment and performed all the work without any surprises. I'm a bit of a do it yourselfer and can be a little picky about details. This job was done quickly but thoroughly and I was impressed with how well the stair case fit and how smoothly it operated once it was installed. They were able to work with the existing piece of sheetrock and trim molding which saved me some money. They cleaned everything up nicely and made sure I was happy before they left. Now, several months later, everything still works perfectly. All in all I am very happy with the work performed by Net Sales and Marketing and I am working with them to replace the front door on my Mother's house.

Working with Mr. Trigo was easy. I was extremely grateful that he was able to contract the work, deal with the insurance company, and help restore my house! He is very thorough and knowledgeable. The results look better than the original work (sorry dad!).

The work involved installing new laminate flooring throughout the house, replacing under cabinet kick-boards, replacing/retexturing/repainting part of wall, and replacing and repainting baseboards. Mr. Trigo worked with the insurance company to increase the claim estimate from $6600 (4200 after depreciation and deductible) to over $12,000, allowing me to claim Fair Market Value of materials damaged.
