They did a good job. I was pleased.

Made a phone call. Discussed my needs. Was met very rapidly with a service professional. Agreed on a bid. Was pleased with the end result. Simple, clear, clean and satisfying.

Good experience overall. Technician was competent, knowledgeable, courteous, reasonable, professional, etc. I thought the set prices dictated by the company were pretty high, but he made an effort to bring them down a little. He left the work areas very clean, which goes a long way, in my opinion. He used drop cloths, etc. The receptionist was also very pleasant to work with. We had to reschedule several times due to conflicts on our end, and the technician also had to come a second time to complete the job because there was not enough time the first day (we knew this might be the case going into it). It was no problem to do the rescheduling, and the receptionist was patient, kind, and professional in all our interactions.

The service provider was prompt and did an excellent job.

They were professional, punctual, nice, and friendly. They did a good job. They said exactly what they were going to do and did exactly what they said they were going to do. They did an upfront pricing; I knew exactly how much it was going to cost. Everything was very straight forward. They had it re-connected perfectly.

He did a good job and I will definitely recommend him to anyone. He explained things to me and he was very polite. He did what I asked him to do and he's a very nice man. Even if I can't afford it yet, he gave suggestions for some home improvements for me.

Outside my house, I have the most expensive lights and Mr. Electric were helping me to adjust those properly. I last used their services before the holidays. The electrician gave me his cellphone number, his card. I was having some trouble with the lights, so he came back to check it, adjusted some more and ended up getting the lights installed. He did that without any extra charge and this made me so satisfied with what he had done. I will use this company again in the future if I would need it.

MR. Electric was very professional and did a great job. I used an AL special. I did think the estimate of work recommended was a little high. I would however, consider Mr. Electric again. They were a pleasure to work with.

What a disappointment (both with Angie's List with their "great deal" advance purchase) and with Mr. Electric. Almost six months ago we purchased $200 of services for $99 from from Angie's lsit on their advertised special. We wnated to add a single additional indoor spot to our kitchen (it already has eight wired on the same switch and we wanted to add one more in the corner. Then a week before Thanksgiving we had a problem with our Dishwasher and the circuit breaker tripping. We called Mrl. Electric, thinking we would use the coupon instead for that. We called on Saturday, November 17 (hoping to schedule someone for Monday, November 19) reached the National Office and were told someone would call us back that day. No one called. We called again on Monday, Nov. 19, and were told no one could service us unttil Wednesday, Nov 21. Even though we had a prepaid for service with Mr. Electric, we decided to call another provider - Lyon's Electric. Lyon's Electric were not only responsive and willing to come that day, but told us over the phone that they had seen this before and the problem was likely the dishwasher. We replaced the dishwasher that day, had no more problems and not electrical service bill. Thank you Lyon's Electric! So then we called Mr. Electric in December for an estimate to install our light. The estimate for installation of a single light was $515.02! We checked their price list on other items and there is nothing they will do for under $400!!! At this point we have decided to just eat the $99 for the $200 of service we prepaid. We will NOT use them again and I am SO disappointed with Angie's List for featuring them in their prepaid deals. We've purchased other prepaid deals and never had this problem. I guess we'll have to do more homework before we buy, but so should Angie's List before they feature such items!!

They were very professional and payed attention to detail, cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

Too expensive for a 30 minute job.

It was an excellent experience. I bought a $200 coupon for $99 and this was applied to the bill. I would definitely request these Mr. Electric again and request these two individuals. They aimed to please and they have.

Our home was for sale and as a result of a home inspection, we contacted a third party service on the internet to solicit bids for a small job of properly terminating two electrical circuits in the attic. These circuits were from a couple of attic fans that were removed when our roof was replaced a few years prior and we had a ridge vent installed. Mr. Electric contaced me within just a few minutes of my online request. They were very professional and willing to set upa an appointment to meet my schedule within just a couple of days. I set up the appointment but then cancelled it as the contractor that remodeled our home recently, was across the street for another job and he took care of the electrical work for me that same day. All though Mr. Electric did not perform the work, I would not hesitate calling them in the future for any electrical work. The quote was for a standard rate for an hour's time and they were very professional and pleasant.

Jorge showed up promptly and was very courteous. He fixed an external light fixture and a plug which could have been a fire hazard. He was extremely helpful and efficient. He also explained what happened, what he did, and what to do in the future. I'm looking forward to a long relationship with Mr. Electric.

Excellent work. The request for a review involves an undue amount of time and is not a solicitation but a demand in the styling and I resent that effect very much.

I called Mr. Electric because a few of our plugs were not working in the bathroom, as well as our outside track lighting. After speaking with a receptionist (in person), we scheduled a visit. A couple of days later the electricians showed up to my house, but not before they called me on my cell that I provided. I explained my problem, and they began their investigation. They were very professional and clean (putting booties on their shoes inside), and before long they found that one of my GFCI outlets was flipped. They repaired the outlet, and I also bought a cover for my outside outlet that was the most likely culprit for the tripping of the outlet inside. Following the work, I paid them with a check, and they left.

I have used Mr Electric twice so far. They are very prompt in organizing a visit, sent the same crew over the second time which was great (dealing w/same people a plus), and the guys who did the work were very professional and did a great job. I only gave them a B on quality in this instance because I don't think they did the best job on the flashing around the hole they had to drill through the soffit / roof to install the new lines to the panel from the electrical pole. Other than that, top notch service. I'd definitely use them again.

Old microwave was removed. New outlet was needed. Service men installed new appliance and connected it to the existing duct for venting outdoors. All went well.

OUTRAGEOUS PRICES TO OFFSET SAVINGS FROM ANGIESLIST. BUYER BEWARE!!! They quote by the job only, so you don't realize how expensive they are until they get there and you've already purchased your AL coupon. A 1 hr job (or less... put in outlet near pre-existing wiring) was priced at $222. Bought $200 coupon for $99, so owed about $25 on first job. Second 1 hr (or less) job was discounted to $116/hr +tax. Still way higher than a typical residential electrician should cost for a simple job. Fyi, average professional electricians should cost between $50/hr and $100 depending on their experience... My AL coupon should have been worth 2-3 hours of work...

The electrician who came to my home for an estimate was very nice and professional. When I opened the door he was standing to the side of a bright and bold "Mr. Electric" doormat he had brought with him. He was wearing "Mr. Electric" attire. I wanted to bust out laughing! Before he entered the house he slipped on booties so as not to drag any dirt that may have been on his shoes. I thought that was nice. When he sat down at my kitchen table, he pulled out a bright and bold "Mr. Electric" pad to cover the table while he wrote out his estimate. He explained to me in great detail that his company doesn't just install light fixtures and do other electrical work. Their price also includes examining your house for "problem areas" related to electricity among other things. His quote to install 2 basic light fixtures was triple that of the other quotes I had gotten. Me thinks "Mr. Electric" had such a high quote in order to cover all the advertising and the "extra" checks around the house for anything else that might be in need of their assistance.

Expensive but worth it if you want things done right. We had Tony at Mr. Electric hang some custom lighting for us when we bought our home in 2007, we had him fix a light that had shorted out a couple of years later. Recently we did a remodel and needed some electrical work done. We used the contractors "electrician" who came out to give a price then delegated all the work to a kid that looked about 18. Needless to say, the fans were not balanced, he broke drywall, etc. We did not have them finish the work that still needed to be done. We called Mr. Electric and had Tony hang a fan, move a chandelier, move our doorbell wires, and run a line for a wall mounted TV. While there he inspected our smoke alarms and panel. We will only use them in the future, learned our lesson the hard way.
