Very efficient and effective with the serviceman here when they said they would be.

Very professional, fast and painless.

It went well. The workers were professional and respectful. They made sure to wear coverings over their shoes as they walked in and out, even though I didn't request them to do so. I felt they were knowledgeable and addressed my needs.

Because of eccentricities in the original construction, he had to work around the problems. He was fast and knowledgeable. I only wish that I had my new bulb ready since I had problems inserting one of them, but that's no reflection on them!

The technician called before he arrived. Came at the time scheduled. Looked at the scope of the work and gave me an estimate before starting work. One of our light switches had shorted out. He repaired the switch very quickly.

It went fairly smooth, but the quality of the ballast must have been very poor, as it is out again in just over a year. The original was 15 years old, so I expected much better than what I got.

The work never happened. The contractor Aaron, provided me with a quote of over $1600.00 for a routine electrical job that involved trenching to bury a power line. I provided all of the materials, and this was a 4 hour labor job at the maximum. The quote was clearly outrageous. But, it was a holiday and I was willing to pay a premium. Mr. Electric dropped their price from over $1600.00 to $900.00, but at that point I felt the job was still overpriced. The contractor Aaron was very nice, but clearly bothered by the pricing he was forced to charge people. I felt that he was caught in the middle, it was just an unfortunate situation. All in all, I would use them again for simple problems, but just not complex jobs.

The replacement went well, but the ballast is burned out again. I simply have not had the time to call to make an appointment for replacing this bad ballast that was installed. Hope the next one is better quality and lasts more than a year.

My experience with Mr. Electric was a pleasurable one from beginning to end. Chris Johnson came out on time to quote the work and provided a clear breakdown of the work with and without trenching included. Ultimately I opted for the trenching and electrical work to be done by Mr. Electric. Two earlier quotes from different companies were almost 3x higher than the quote from Mr. Electric because they refused to consider the job without using a rock saw even though I don't live on a limestone shelf. On the appointed day Chris arrived on time and started the trenching work (120 ft from the electrical panel box to the pond). Given the configuration of my lot and plantings Chris wasn't able to use the trencher so he dug the entire 120 ft. trench by hand. Without me even thinking to ask for it he decided to use 3/4" conduit instead of 1/2" so I would have the option of running a additional line through the same conduit for possible landscape lighting in the future; thereby saving me from a future additional expenditure due to his thoughtfulness and foresight. Now I can plug in my UV lights and pump without the inconvenience and pump damage caused by using an outdoor extension cord. From the moment I called Mr. Electric I was treated with courtesy and professionalism by everyone with whom I spoke. I will gladly use Mr. Electric for all of my electrical needs from now on.

It went beautifully! I called to get an estimate and the electrician was at my door in less than 30 minutes. I would recommend them to anyone. Chris, the electrician, ate his lunch while I finished cleaning the pendant fixture to be hung so I could get it installed today. Very professional and knowledgeable. Will definitely use them again!

Great. Took less time then I expected. Didn't have to disconnect all the electricity. Did not make a mess and had the parts needed on the truck.

Chris was polite, friendly, and accommodated my dog. He explained what he was doing. I liked him. He was fast too-no time wasting.

I called Mr. Electric about a breaker that kept tripping. Although it was not a critical situation, they said they'd have someone there by 3:30 PM (it was about 2:55 PM). Robert arrived at my door at 3:25 PM. He was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He listened to my description of the problem and quickly noticed that the breaker switch was not working properly and that both that breaker and the one next to it (both double circuit breakers) were VERY hot. Following his advice, I agreed that he should replace both breakers since he had the parts in the truck. He quickly replaced the breakers, taking care to align two of the circuits that power the two phases of my 220 V pool pump on adjacent switches which he ganged together with a carefully crafted piece of wire. He then checked the voltage on the two pool pump leads to ensure that they got the proper power and then checked that the pump was operating properly. I also confirmed that the house circuit that was the original problem was now working properly (which it was). While I was inside doing the check, he was doing a quick check outside and noticed that the power feed from the utility pole had been ripped out of the mount on the house and was hanging there courtesy of the anchor that also secured the telephone line (not a good thing). This had probably been the situation for some time, since it was three or four months ago that a tree limb had broken off and must have hit the line on the way down, pulling it out of its moorings. I had cleaned up the fallen branch, but did not notice the damage to the power feed. It's lucky for me that Robert did. I had him re-anchor the line to the house, which he did quickly. He seemed to know just what to do, and that, or course, is why you hire a professional for these things. All in all Robert finished up all the tasks in a few minutes more than an hour. I was able to pay by credit card which he processed from his cell phone using a plug in device from Square technology. Since I had an Angie's List coupon I got 10% off the bill plus he allowed an additional 10% since I am a Senior citizen. Yes, I'm glad I don't often have to spend $250 in an hour, but I'm also glad that I called Mr. Electric. Sometimes it is just worth it.

My experience with them was very good. They are the only electric company that I call now. The person who came to the house clearly explained what needed to be what he was going to do. He gave two options and explained it along with the cost. I went with the least expensive option as opposed to rewiring the house. They were good about calling and letting me know that the person was on his way for the appointment. I would prefer their professionalism as opposed to worrying about the cost.

This is the third time we have used Mr. Electric. The work was scheduled and accomplished on time. The technician, Terrance, was very pleasant and easy to work with. After the work was done everything was clean. The cost seems high, but we were very satisfied with the results. We plan to use Mr. Electric in the future if needed.

All went well

I have never been so pleased with an electrician! I called them to repair a ceiling fan in my office. They were on time (even a bit early), extremely professional and very fast. They had to leave the job to go purchase a light kit, which they did very quickly. The entire job was complete in little more than one hour. The very reasonable price (which included parts and labor) was the icing on the cake. I plan to have them to my home to repair some lights there. Special recognition goes to Jose -- very nice and very professional! Yay, Mr. Electric!

They were on-time and they did a good job and cleaned up after themselves.

I had my breaker switch burn out Saturday evening, eliminating half of the power in my house, including the AC. Began calling electricians Sunday morning. I had to leave messages for every one, except when, on my tenth call, I got live person answer the phone from Mr. Electric. The very pleasant young lady (Felicia) took my information and said she would contact the nearest technician to call me back. Chris (the technician) called me back in 10 minutes, and was at my front door in a half hour. He didn't have the correct type of switch in his truck, so he drove to Home Depot for the part. The power was back on within an hour. I asked Chris if he would take a look at a defective light switch in out master bedroom that had taken out half the power in the bedroom. He fixed that problem, and only charged a token fee, since he was already out there. He even replaced the switch cover, which I had lost, at no charge. I expected to spend up to $1000 for this Sunday service call. The charge was half that. And Chris explained that there was no extra charge for the weekend call.....Mr. Electric charges the same price 24/7. I highly recommend Mr. Electric for their professionalism, quality, and price. By the way.....as of 10:00 PM the same day, I had a call back from just one of the other electric service companies I left messages for.

Due to a wind storm, a tree limb pulled the main service loose on a rental property we own. We did not notice it until the City of Austin placed a notice on our tenants door that we had 24 hours to repair or the service would be terminated. Mr. Electric was contacted. they did an same day estimate and walked me through the process that we would need to avoid a gap in electrical service. The took care of the emergency permits, scheduling and meeting with the inspectors and final approvals. I was very pleased with the outcome.
