Maidtopia Cleaning Services

We've used a few different companies and my wife seemed to like this one the best even though she couldn't quite put her finger on why. The cleaning was high quality. They did what we asked.

They did a fantastic job!

I did not get the cleaning that I purchased . I set up an appointment six weeks in advance because I was hosting a baby shower. Two days before the shower Maidtopia called me and ask is they could change the day of cleaning to the morning of the shower. I said yes but reminded them of the shower I was hosting that afternoon. Maidtopia said they would send out two people at 9 AM and they would finish in about an hour and a half. The night before the baby shower I had a message on my phone saying that the maid would be at my house at 11 or a little after. Since the business was closed my only way of communicating with them was by email and voice mail. I left messages saying that 11 AM was too late! I had a baby shower that afternoon and people were arriving around noon. I said that if they couldn't be there by 9, not to come because it would be too late! No one came and my house was not cleaned. This was a terrible experience that left me in a difficult situation. I will never use this company and I am owed a refund.

This is the second time I used this company. The first time there were 2 employees who did an exceptional job of cleaning the house. I purchased a second deal and 1 employee came for 3 hours. The first clean was excellent, the second clean not as good.

We like them. It was excellent. It was a very efficient service and very nice people.

Things were going well in the beginning. Except for a few instances where the cleaning was less than thorough, the maids showed up on time and did a decent job. However, my wife and I made the mistake of going on vacation and falling off Maidtopia's schedule. For the record, we did notify them that we would be out of town and needed to reschedule but that didn't matter. We tried for weeks to get back on schedule -- emailing the owner and calling her on several occasions. We were ignored, for the most part, and given the run-around until we discovered the real reason why they had been avoiding us... Apparently, our small house was deemed too dirty for the basic cleaning service and we needed to create a customized cleaning checklist and pay a higher rate for future cleanings (our house is 1200 square feet and is regularly cleaned so "too dirty" is hard to believe). Issues like "too much dog hair," which is puzzling since we disclosed the fact that we had dogs, and "too many dishes," which was also puzzling because they told us they would LOAD dishes into an empty dishwasher as part of the basic cleaning service (which is all they did), were part of the owner's rationalization for charging us more money. Basically, they were asking us to clean the house before they arrived to CLEAN the house! My wife is a lot more tolerant than me of these kinds of shenanigans, but I agreed to give them one more chance just to avoid the headache of having to find a new service. They were scheduled to come out but, of course, they never showed up. My wife called and left messages... same story. So here we are. This company is unreliable, disorganized and unresponsive. I would recommend that you look elsewhere for cleaning services. There is better service to be had for the money.

Wonderful service, prompt, and professional!

They seemed very professional and organized over the phone. I was impressed that they have a checklist that you fill out before the service that you want done and in what order you want it done. They did want a credit card to pay for the taxes but since they called me I was not willing to do that and she said I could write a check on the date of service.

I called and asked them for a specific time, but it was not enough notice for them to accommodate me. I also asked if they would accomodate me by using my cleaning products because I have allergies. She was not sure if they could do that. I never called them again and didn't use them. I can't speak to what kind of job they do, since I didn't end up using them. However, the issue with the cleaning products would be a deal-breaker for me because I have respiratory allergies and have to use specific products.

It was not as thorough as I would have liked. I payed for three hours vs. a complete service so maybe this was the reason, but I usually use a private individual who does it all in three hours and is excellent with organization on top of that. I don't have any regrets or negative feelings. All in all it was pretty good, but since I have experienced superb, I will probably go back to that.

The lady arrived on time with her tools of trade in tow. More than polite, she was understanding. Some areas of our home obviously needed more attention than others supringsly the entire house gleamed!!! I didn't unterrupt her, only pointing out initially what Id prefer she'd focus on.. My grin was the Cheshire Cat, will contact Kim and her staff again.

Everything was well done except some residue left in the oven and the desk in the living room was not dusted off.

My experience with them was very good. They were excellent. She is coming back next week. They were professional. I like them. I would tell others to use them.

Definitely worth the money. The day after my home was cleaned I received an offer on my house. She did a great job and I was very happy with the results.

The provider was very busy and sent a new employee to my mother's home for the cleaning. Apparently the new employee was not yet proficient with home-cleaning and my mother was very upset with the quality of work. The provider was very responsive and sent one of their most experienced employees to re-do the work and my mother was very pleased in the end.

I think I may not have had a good picture of what "cleaning" meant when I contracted for the service. There were different packages offered, but I assumed "cleaning" meant cleaning until dirt or removable residue was gone. I take this as my misunderstanding, as this is the 2nd time this has happened to me, the first time being with another service provider a few years ago. I would definitely recommend the service if you are having light "maintenance" housework done on a regular basis. But if, like me, you were intending a thorough cleaning, after years of no regular (weekly) housecleaning, then negotiate for a different package at a higher cost. The employee who came was polite, responsive, hardworking and attentive. While what I would describe as a light "once over" did improve the overall look of my home ( I was hoping to leave the home looking better for new owners moving in within a week or so. The house was almost empty.), it did not remove soap scum from shower tile, or finger and hand prints from door jams, as I had hoped.

Not as detailed as preferred. A little slow. Time bound deal not best arrangement.

Two house cleaners arrived right on time to do the chores that I had specified in advanced. They worked very quickly and efficiently and did an all around good job. I was pleased.

There is only one person coming to the home. Thus far a good job in the house. However, there are multiple charges on my credit card.

Initially, due to the severe weather, we had to re-schedule. However, once the maids, came they did an "Outstanding job". The two girls that came were very professional and although their English was not perfect, I speak Spanish they did what was asked of them. I called the cleaning company after words, and expressed my appreciation for a job well done. I also told them, I would you use their service again. The only negative to this was the fact there was a price difference of several dollars and taxes from what was quoted via the coupon. As a matter of fact, I ' am in the process of scheduling a new appointment with them.

They come every 3 weeks for me. The person who they send is good. They know what to do and they work really hard. The work is always professional. They are good with communication and how they run their business. The quality of their cleaning for the price they offer is great.

That turned out well. Two cleaners came out for me and they were here for less than 4 hours. They did a basic housecleaning. They dusted from ceiling to floor. They cleaned the appliance fronts and counter-tops in both the kitchen and bathrooms. They vacuumed the carpet and mopped the hard vinyl floors. They brought their own cleaning supplies and equipment. They did a good job and I have hired them to now clean regularly for me. Scheduling went well and I also think their prices are competitive too.

It went well. I gave a B over all because I wish they would have gotten a little more done in the amount of time that they had. Everything was good, I just wish I had gotten more done.

It was okay. It wasn't deep cleaning though, it was just standard clean. They didn't do the scrubbing of the sinks very well. I didn't see them mop the floors very well. I guess when I thought of deep cleaning, I was thinking that they would also wipe down the cabinet doors and all that and that didn't happen. The work they did was fine. I would probably not use them again because I don't think I got what I paid for.

The two cleaners were professional, efficient, and did a great job!
