See above, service was fine - in fact I thought she was quite good. But, not professional.

I have used this company on two occasions. Both through a Living Social voucher. One I purchased and the other was given to me as a housewarming gift. The deal was $75 for 3 hours of cleaning (but if two cleaners are sent out, it is only 1.5 hours). My first experience: I contacted Eli to set up my appointment and was given the next available appointment. She sent a confirmation email along with a list of household cleaning duties. I was informed to fill this out in numerical order in order of importance. I had this filled out and ready for the ladies when they arrived. The cleaners arrived on time. There were two women. I gave my list to the woman who asked for it. After she looked at it, she asked me what I wanted to have done. It was a little weird to have to explain when it was all laid out in front of her on the list. So I told them my most important areas are the bathrooms (2.5 of them), the kitchen (which is small) and the floors (hardwood/tile). I have a 2400 square foot home, so I figured they could get all of that done and still have time for other things on the list. The woman with the list headed upstairs to tackle the bathroom up there. The other woman started on the kitchen. The lady from upstairs then headed to our master bathroom downstairs and worked in there, while the other lady was still working on the kitchen. While she was cleaning my kitchen table, instead of taking things off the table and then cleaning it, she just shuffled them around as she wiped the table. This resulted in her breaking my pepper shaker that was part of a set we got on our honeymoon in Paris. I have to say I was pretty irate about that. When the lady in the kitchen was done and had swept the floors in the kitchen, when the woman from our master bath came out and started mopping the tile and hardwood downstairs. The other woman talked to her for a few minutes and then left. Then the woman mopping said time was up and headed out. The downstairs half bath was never event touched. She said to call the owner about the pepper shaker. Before I could even dial the number, she was giving me a call to apologize. I explained how it happened and that they were very special to me. She offered to replace them, which she did. She also offered to cover the tax that I owed on the cleaning job. When I got off the phone I went to go see what kind of cleaning job was done. Boy was I disappointed. In the bathroom upstairs, there were still water/toothpaste marks on the sink faucets. I found the list they were supposed to be following on my son's dresser. So that was never looked at again after she came downstairs. In the kitchen, when I moved my mixer, there were still crumbs on the counter behind it. That tells me it was not moved, just cleaned around. It was supposed to be wiped down, but that didn't happen either. The cleaner did the same thing as she did with the table, with my fridge and just cleaned around stuff. In the master bathroom: the floors were not mopped, the mirror closet doors were not windexed, the shower was not touched and the area around the faucets was not cleaned well either. I emailed the owner the link for the replacement pepper shaker and explained in detail my disappointment and listed the same information as above. She said that the cleaner had said I had told her what to clean instead of the list, but that I should still have been satisfied 100% with the job they did. I was given $50 credit to use toward a future service. Eli ordered a replacement shaker and it arrived within a few days. She said that the lady who cleaned my bathroom told her that the glass in the glass doors of the shower were loose and that is why she did not clean them very well. I think she was just trying to CYA because there are NO loose glass panels in my shower. I'm a renter, and my landlord would know about that as soon as I saw something like that. Alright, so I had a gift certificate for the same cleaning. I decided to give them another try and asked Eli if I could apply my credit to have more cleaning time. She said she could not do that, but I could apply the $75 voucher credit, my $50 credit from the last visit and another $25 to have a standard cleaning done. This one is not supposed to have any time limits, so I figured it would work better. Today I had one house cleaner do in two hours, more than the other two did in 1.5 hours. However....I am disappointed in the work again. I mean really simple things and huge things. The mirror closet doors in the bathroom did not get touched AGAIN. I even left them alone since the last cleaning to see if they got done this time. Nope. She did do everything else, but I can't tell with the shower for sure. My half bath downstairs did not get cleaned again! She worked really hard and got a lot done, but it seemed like toward the end she just wanted to get out of here. She didn't even wipe/dust anything in the living room (just one ottoman, one tiny side table and the TV table). She vacuumed the area rug in there and that's about it. I think she even missed the actual kitchen part of my kitchen when she mopped the family/kitchen combo area. I found stuff still on the floor. She didn't touch the kitchen table either. I have a baby and a toddler and not a lot of time to do a thorough cleaning of my house, which is why once a month I like to hire a cleaning service to do a thorough cleaning. I have to say that in both instances I do not feel the proper cleaning was done, and I am not really that picky. I don't feel like I should have to follow the cleaner around to make sure everything gets done. The owner is very professional and wants her customers to be happy, but unfortunately I was not pleased with either cleaning. UPDATE: (5/7/13) Eli emailed me after seeing the Angie's List review and offered to send out her supervisor to re-clean my home free of charge. I have to say she did and AMAZING job. She was thorough and didn't miss a thing. I think it is very professional to send another cleaner out and I am very happy with the customer service given. I am updating my score based on the last job performed and the way the owner handled all of the issues.

The manager will call to make sure you are happy with the service. The staff that comes to my home are very professional, prompt and friendly. I am very happy with the way they clean my home and I will use them again in the future.

Overall it was a great experience.

They were excellent. I really liked them a lot. They were just competent. They arrived on time. The woman was here for four hours and she worked herself to death. I would definitely use them again.

It was a hell of a good deal! Theresa was awesome! I've never seen anybody work that hard in my life. I would book them again. She was excellent. She did not speak a lot of English. I had a little bit of a difficult time trying to explain a couple of things to her but boy, she made up for it with her work ethic.

My experience with them was okay. There was nothing in particular that I would say I disliked but there's nothing I will say they did that was outstanding.

I made a big deal purchase for them for $75 of three hours of housecleaning. It went very well, in fact we got them back. They were independent, they didn't need any specific directions, they were very meticulous, and they cleaned the house well.

The maid arrived on time, brought in her supplies, checked my list and began her work immediately. She worked quietly and efficiently, did a great job, and finished in a little less than 3 hours. I was very pleased with the job she did.

This company cleans thoroughly and response time is excellent.

The company was very responsive when contacted by email and very accommodating in regards of keeping in touch since I was unable to use the phone at the time (recent vocal chord surgery). Everything was scheduled and set up quickly. On the day of the cleaning, all instructions were followed. They did a good job. The only thing that was missed was the top of the refrigerator. Other than that, the place was much cleaner than the homeowners left it for us when we moved in. I would use them again.

They were very professional when I called to make the appointment. I made the appointment. They let me know that they would be an hour late. She came in and started cleaning right away. She worked for three hours and cleaned almost the entire house. She did not waste anytime. It was a complete cleaning for a regular cleaning.

The whole experience was great. I strongly recommend this service.

s seemed to have been performed.It went reasonably well. There were only a couple of minor items that I was not completely satisfied about. 1) I left the clean sheets available to use for making my son's bed, but the protective water resistent cover was taken and left off; 2) The waste basket liners were removed and (I assume) thrown away and not replaced. Other than these minor items the services seemed to have been performed.

I received a phone call within two days to schedule my appointment - an impressively speedy response! I spoke with Eli, who was very accommodating, courteous and willing to work with my very tight schedule. She could have fit my home into the schedule within a week, but we settled on an appointment a couple of weeks later, which was better timing for me. She scheduled a Friday morning appointment with an arrival time of 8-9 a.m. This was ideal, and I scheduled another appointment with a different company to show up at noon. That Friday morning I realized that I might not have correct change for a tip. I called and spoke to Eli about ten minutes after 8 to ask if my cleaner was already in route. Eli called her, then called me back. She said my cleaner needed to stop and pick up some supplies and would arrive between 8:45 and 9:00 a.m. This was ample time for me to go to my bank and get change. Janet arrived at 9:40, much later than I expected, and I was worried that she might not finish before my next meeting at noon. She brought all of her own supplies and settled right into work. She worked steadily, quietly, and she was very thorough and efficient. I didn't have to point out anything at all or ask her to go back and redo anything. The cleaning supplies smelled fresh but not overpowering. Janet did a great job from beginning to end. I think she must have worked in a hotel at some point because she did a nice fold on the hand towels. Janet worked straight through for a little over two hours, leaving at about 10 minutes before noon. I was very impressed with her work. I would definitely hire this service again and I'd ask for Janet.

We have actually used Maidtopia several times now, and will again. Our infant daughter is crawling all over the house and it has made me aware of very bit of dust and dirt on the floors. The only time I don't worry about it is right after Maidtopia has been through the house. I love how clear they are ahead of time in setting out exactly what cleaning services we need (for us, usually, it's standard kitchen/bathroom cleaning and cleaning of the floors and dusting baseboards and low windowsills throughout the house.) ? it's nice to not have to explain everything when the cleaner arrives. They come to the house knowing what needs to be done! Every time we've used them, the cleaner has been on time, really nice, very efficient and has done a terrific job cleaning.

They did the job but I wasn't a deep cleaning like they advertised. It was just a regular cleaning. They did a good job for what they did but it wasn't a deep cleaning and that is what I wanted. They also fit me in. I had an event that I got to get ready for and they fit me into their schedule. They were really good about that.

Eli Martinez contacted me and setup a time to do the cleaning. The cleaner showed up promptly at 9 and cleaned for 3 hours. The work is amazing. I had to fire 6 cleaning companies before where I previously lived, eventually taking over the job myself, because I am very "Type A". I like to control everything and make sure everything is perfect. When I recently moved to Austin, I figured I would eventually try another maid service and was hoping it would not be a disappointing experience. Ms. Martinez delivered the goods. I finally found a cleaning company that would do an equal, if not better, job to my cleaning. The home looked unreal and smelled great. We have a large shedding dog and two young children, so our home gets messy quick. I can finally travel now and leave my wife and kids at home knowing that Maidtopia is handling another aspect of my life. If you require maid service you cannot go wrong with Maidtopia. There are multiple price points, from what I understand, depending on the depth of what you require. I also understand that Maidtopia can be hired to clean while you are away on vacation or for a vacation home. I would have no hesitation in doing so.

I purchased the Angie's List "Big Deal" for $75.00, which was for deep cleaning of the kitchen and bathrooms. Scheduling was easy, and the company responded to emails very promptly. The housekeeper showed up on time, but didn't appear to speak much English, or else just didn't talk much! She didn't even introduce herself, so I couldn't tell you what her name was. This was the first time I've ever used a cleaning service, so maybe what she did does classify as "deep cleaning" but it really seemed to me like just a basic cleaning. She did a good job on the toilets and shower/tub, but I had been hoping for a good scrubbing of the floors and baseboards, and that was just so-so (she used a mop, which doesn't really get "deep" in my opinion!). All in all, I felt like I got a decent price for the service, but not really anything that I would classify as a great bargain. And nothing really about this particular service that makes me say I wouldn't use them again, I think that I probably am just not likely to use *any* cleaning service again.

It went extremely well. The cleaner arrived right on time and did a better job than we have experienced with other services. I was particularly impressed at how responsive she was to our priorities. She finished slightly early and asked what else she could do in the time left.

The service arrived on time. I wasn't sure if she understood English, so it was awkward explaining what I needed. She was going to clean the wood floors as well as the tile floors with water. I was actually disappointed, but might give them another try.

Scheduling was easy. The housekeeper showed up on time and was very efficient in her work. No problems.

They worked with my schedule and were very flexible. They were also very prompt and thorough.
