Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal coupon from Maidtopia Cleaning Services to clean my house. They did a deep cleaning of the kitchen and living room.

Description of Work: Hired to clean parents home. Showed up on time and did an excellent job. Kitchen, bathrooms and floors swept and mopped throughout. Parents were very happy.

Description of Work: Like many of the "big deals" on Angie's List, unfortunately you have to purchase it before you can schedule a time slot wit the service provider. I tried to schedule immediately after purchasing, and the soonest I could get them was 19 days out-April 10! I accepted it because I had company coming on the following day, the 11th. Eli emailed me confirmation of the appointment, saying she had reserved an afternoon slot for April 10 for me. I called her back per her request on the email. I asked what time "afternoon" meant and whoever answered the phone told me, probably around 3pm." So I waited. At 4:30 I called to see what the hold up was. Eli told me she had taken me off the schedule because when I called I didn't CONFIRM her coming. I HAD confirmed it and scheduled it in the email + I had already purchased it!!!! She already had her money and didn't care when I got serviced. She told me the soonest she could get to me was 12 days out!!!!!!!! So I requested a refund, which requires filling out a form on Angie's List and waiting for 7 days. Eli sent me 3 emails during and after our 2 phone conversations, saying she was sorry and it had never happened before...Well, when you are counting on cleaners showing up, it just takes 1 time of a no-show when you desperately needed them, to know you don't trust or believe at least half of the positive reviews. Such a simple communication problem.

Description of Work: Purchased this service as gift for my daughter in law. Team arrived late; however, their work was excellent and she was very satisfied with the results. To compensate for their late arrival, they accomplished more than was in the initial contract. I will use them myself without hesitation should the need arrise.

Description of Work: They did a good job. It was not super sparkling clean, but it was definitely a lot better than when I left the house that morning. They send one person to clean as opposed to a team like some of the other services. They were trustworthy and didn't break or steal anything or leave my door unlocked (which has been a problem with other services in the past). I would hire them again.

Description of Work: The cleaning lady arrived around the time scheduled (15 minutes late, but no big deal). She brought all of the supplies and equipment she needed. She immediately started cleaning and appeared to work diligently. I checked on her a few times and she was always working. However when she said it was time to go, I went down to check on what she had accomplished. She had done a great job in the Kitchen, the guest bath and the master bath. She got the show door spotless (something I can't see to accomplish)!! She also did the living room which was OK, but missed a lot of spots. My house isn't that dirty, but for $75, I expected a little more to be done. My old maid would complete the entire downstairs for $40 every two weeks and got the same or better quality than I received from Maidtopia. The scary part of this deal is that the normal cost of this service was $150 without the discount. I don't know anyone who would pay that for cleaning 2 rooms and 1.5 bathrooms. OUCH!!!

Description of Work: Cleaner was late, didn't talk through services provided, tried to leave early multiple times (paid for three hours, tried to leave after <2 hours). and didn't do a very good job of cleaning things I specifically told her to clean. Would not use this service again, only benefit was that it was cheap through an Angie's List deal.

Description of Work: I purchased the big deal for 4 hours of cleaning. They provided a checklist so that I could customize the visit (rather than perform the standard service). I filled out the checklist, ranking items in order of importance, and handed it to the maid. However, she didn't do any of the special items (one was ranked #1), just the standard service items, and left after 3 hours, so it wasn't a question of time. That was disappointing to me. I was busy working from home and couldn't supervise the visit.

Description of Work: I contracted for a "deep clean", but found after it was done that the clean was only cursory/usual. Numerous items left unclean: tops of fridge and W/D, dust-collecting ridges on cabinets and shelves, floor was incompletely mopped. They were very responsive in setting up the appointment, and arrived on time, so I might use them for regular cleaning if the price was right. But given that $150 worth of cleaning got me one person for 1.5 hours, I doubt that they would be a good budget choice.

Description of Work: I have used many cleaning services but none compare to Maidtopia. I used their services for about two years & only recently stopped because I retired & started cleaning the house myself. I have started back to work & will probably be calling them soon to start up again. You will not be sorry if you use this company.
