Description of Work: Inspected my AC and Heat unit because I had an exceptionally high electric bill. The technician found the problem and it was repaired. It took less than an hour to repair and some of the work/parts were covered by warranty.

Description of Work: One of our two 15 yr old A/C units began to rattle loudly. Walter replaced one condenser fan blade, one 1/4 hp condenser motor, and 2 sets of contacts (one on each A/C/ unit), as well as topping off the refrigerant, and cleaning the condensers on both units. They did a thorough job of checking the charges on both units. It went very well. We even referred Walter to another customer.

+ -1 moreArrived in less than 1 hour from the time of our phone call--on a hot day (over 100) when they were already busy. Chris was very professional and personable. He asked detailed questions on the symptoms we were experiencing and then quickly got to work. He opened up the outside unit and diagnosed the problem almost immediately. He explained the problem and gave me a quote on the fix before proceeding. All was back together and up and running in 30 minutes. He also topped off the freon in the unit at no extra charge on the original quote. Answered all questions and showed me where the problem was and why things had failed. Company truck, and work procedures all professional. Chris was very professional, friendly and responsive. Will use again. Will definitely recommend to friends and neighbors.
Description of Work: A/C failed. Outside unit was running, but fan was spinning intermittently and then stopped altogether. Inside temp rose from 75 to 85 in short order. Problem was quickly diagnosed as a failed capacitor. Replaced failed component and topped off unit (plus our second A/C unit ) with additional freon. They were slightly low.

+ -1 moreThey were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The service tech took the time to explain how our heating system works (it's a heat pump) and why it doesn't work as well when the temperatue gets too low. Crawled around in the attic to check the duct work and heating coils. They tested the thermometer as well. Because of a schedule mix up that delayed them from arriving on time, they waived the service call charge, which was, I think, above and beyond what I expected. We'll definitely use them again, if we have an AC or heat problem.
Description of Work: They came out to check our heater, which seemed to be running a lot and wasn't doing a good job of keeping the house warm.

+ -1 moreThey did an excellent job, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They job had went perfectly. They had done everything they said they were going to do, and their were no issues. I could not give them a higher mark. They cleaned up after themselves, and during the work they put plastic down and picked up everything. I would give the triple "A's". They also gave a very fair price, we shopped around and found them trustworthy.
Description of Work: They did a complete AC and heat pumps upstairs and downstairs. 5 ton, and 2 ton unit.
