Lakeway A/C & Heating

I’ve used Lakeway Heating and AC for over 15 years. They have replaced both of our units. They are punctual and very professional. I highly recommend them.

They came out bc my A/C was out. They got it going only for it to break a week later. Now I am in "wait for the part to come in land". I need to be reimbursed by my home warranty and the Office Manager is not willing to make one call to my home warranty to confirm their credentials and send in the work order. That's it. I'm paying out of pocket. Meanwhile, it has been over 100 degrees most days. I guess customer service doesn't exist anymore.

I have called Lakeway AC several times for work at our house and have been very happy with their response time and service. They've answered the phone every time even when I've called after hours and have been very prompt in their response time. Miguel has been the tech that's serviced our AC units. He is very nice and polite and has been great at troubleshooting problems. He is an asset to the company.

Great experience with this company. Jennifer put me on the schedule for same day service and Miguel quickly came out and made a diagnosis. He installed a new capacitor. Miguel is very polite, very professional. I look forward to using this company again. My house is now cool!

I am writing another high recommendation for Lakeway AC and Heating because we just had another great experience with them. I came home Friday at 2 PM to discover that the upstairs was hot. I called Lakeway AC and Heating to get some relief. They said, “Mr. Fowler, I’ll have a tech call you as soon as I can”. In two minutes Miguel call me and said he could be here in five minutes. Miguel showed up and took all of 15 minutes to find the problem. He went to the shop found the part, came back, installed it and cool air came out the vents. If you need AC or Heating professionals I highly recommend Lakeway AC and Heating. They are local and they are fast!

I called around 9am and they put us on the schedule right away. Technician (Kelly) came right on schedule even though he had gotten soaked in the rain in his prior service call. Fixed our issue right away. Excellent service! Highly recommend these guys.

They came out the same day and found that a circuit needed replacing.

Service was excellent. We've used them before and the employees are always top-notch. My only frustration was the response time once I contacted them. They were slammed with calls due to heat wave and it took several days to connect. I was not able to answer their return call, BUT I called back in less than 3 minutes and I was bumped to the bottom of the service call queue. Despite this, their service techs are first rate and I will use them again.

It was good. It was signing up for a service contract, which was 2 visits per year. I know they will schedule the next one.

Miguel replaced the capacitor within about 30 minutes and the A/C was back up and running. This is the second time we've used Lakeway A/C and Heating and they've done a terrific job each time.

They call, they come on time. They do a good job and leave. They call to schedule and make sure its convenient.

Lakeway A/C responded on a Saturday within three hours of my call. James showed up with all required equipment and had us up and going in short order. He was polite, professional, and efficient. Problem was a simple valve in "Off" position, but James ran full diagnostic to make sure system was functioning properly. I'd call them again with any issue, and also for regular checks - Lakeway A/C is first rate, and local to us, and we support local businesses when we can.

I would use them again. I've been using them for 2 years. Their pricing was reasonable. They did very well.

Called Lakeway A/C & Heating, they sent James to service my A/C. James showed up as scheduled, diagnosed problem and made repair. House started cooling and James was on his way. A few days later the A/C stopped working. I felt as though James dropped everything to come back to my house ASAP. True customer service is proven when things get a little challenging. James and Lakeway A/C & Heating rose to the occasion.

I called over six weeks ago to have routine maintenance on our A/C unit and the lady said they would call me in approximately two weeks to schedule an appointment. I did not get a call back so I called today. The lady said they are very busy and my name was still in the list. I suggested that she notify customers of the back log but she said she gets up to 40 calls a day and is too busy to call anyone. I understand they have to prioritize for the customers without air but a phone call would have been appreciated. This company certainly doesn't pride themselves on customer service!

Lakeway AC is a first class firm - they were very responsive, professional and were price competitive with other HVAC firms in the area. They not only removed the old and installed the new air handler / heating unit in attic, they also reconfigured the high efficiency air filter unit to match up to the new unit at no extra cost. Highly recommended!

Compressor fan motor went out during the hottest part of the summer. I called and they were at my home within a couple of hours. They didn't have a replacement in stock but could get one within one day. In the mean time, they went back to their shop and delivered a shop fan that could be used to keep the compressor cool enough to run. They are very responsive, courteous and did the job well. Will call them next time I need AC work.

With tempuratures running in triple digits our lower level heat pump stopped blowing cold air. I called Lakeway A/C first thing in the morning before they opened and left a message I that we were having an issue with our a/c unit. I received a return call only a few minutes after 8:00am when they opened. I was told they would have a technician get back with me. Within an hour a very nice gentleman was at our door and he had our air conditioning blowing cold within short order. I was very happy with the service and will use them again.

Of course your A/C always fails on the hottest day (so far) of the year. After calling a larger service company the night before who couldn't get to our home for three days and "sleepng" through a hot night I reached out to Lakeway A/C first thing in the morning. They were responsive and couteous and assured me they would be able to get to our job the very same day. As promised and right on queue just after noon the technician arrived. He was able to quickly assess and repair the problem. Very satisfied with the result and will not only recommend them as I am but will certainly use them again! Great experience!

Lakeway AC offered a timely response to my SOS call. James and his team were courteous and diligent. James did not try to sell me more than I needed and was honest in answering any questions that I had. He was great to follow up after the installation of my unit to make sure that everything was working as it should. When he found a manufacturer's issue that needed to be addressed he explained the situation and promptly fixed it. After installation, he also took the initiative to register my unit online so that my warranty was extended and checked for any rebates that might be available from my electric provider. True to his word, he dropped off the completed documentation in a couple of days. James is an honest gentleman with a calm demeanor. I would trust him to take care of any future AC needs. Great job!

I've used this company several times, and they are BY FAR the best A/C service I've ever worked with! They pick up your calls, they call you back, they show up on time, they fix the problem and charge reasonable fees. What more could you ask for? And Chris - my service tech - is the BEST ... great guy, and really knows his stuff. Just can't say enough good things about Chris and this company.

They were very good. I would highly recommend them. They were kind and polite. You could look at the person in their website because their pictures are posted in their website and I just thought that was really good. They were available and local and that’s why I used them. They fixed my problem.

I would like to offer my strongest endorsement of "Chris" of Lakeway AC/Heating. Chris did a terrific job recently of installing Lenox air filters on my HVAC units. I had also contacted him a few months before for more routine HVAC servicing issues. Chris is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He was always on time, thorough, and extremely competent in completing the work. His prices are fair, and he will not recommend work unless it really needs to be completed. This is a highly competent and professional service expert. I would highly recommend him for your HVAC service needs. I wish all contractors in the Austin area had the professionalism, competence, and ethics displayed consistently by Chris at Lakeway AC/Heating.

Owner John Coldeway arrived on time and was professional and courteous. He checked the system, adjusted a few things and added refrigerant. This is a great family-owned company!

Everyone at Lakeway A/C and heating was great. They returned my call promptly and got someone out here quickly even though this is a busy time due to the recent hot weather. Chris was very polite and professional. I would definitely use Lakeway A/C again in the future and I would recommend them to anyone.
