Description of Work: I bought a home in December 09. I had the master bedroom carpet cleaned by K&M the first week I moved into the home. The doggie odor still remained. They sent two other people to remove my padding and reclean. The two who came did not ask me if they could open my second story master bedroom window and broke it by throwing the padding out the window. Inside that padding was my jewelry. They robbed me of the jewelry they took out of my master bedroom and master bathroom closets. The one cleaner also removed a house key which was in my kitchen drawer where the previous owner had left the extra door keys. How do I know this? Because no one else was in my new home except these people and one other person whom I escorted when her when she installed my cable. THe K&M employee was missing from my master bedroom where the padding was removed for a great length of time until I realized he did not come back upstairs. I found him in my kitchen standing over my open purse. When I asked him why he was in my kitchen, he said he was admiring my back yard. When I called K&M, the person I spoke to said that "their employees are all grandfathers and fathers...they wouldn't steal...they do criminal background checks on their employees..." I later learned that the individual who was in my kitchen where my money was taken and my key stolen had a lengthy criminal record. I also learned from a fellow employee that she had her jewelry stolen when they came to her home. I informed Angie's list of this theft after it happened and here they are getting an "A" rating. Unbelievable! How trustworthy is Angie's list? The warrant for the K&M employee was served to him during his visit to another court house responding on drug charges. Yet, he is still working for this company. Furthermore, the police has a pair of my earrings that the employee gave to his daughter. The jewelry he stole was my grandmother's wedding ring, my engagement ring, many pieces of jewelry given to me as gifts from my son when he took trips. I also had stolen a locket from Italy with my children's pictures when they were very young. I also lost all the jewelry I collected for fifty years from many sources such as my dead relatives. These things are irreplaceable and are priceless. Imagine your private life affected like this. They were here for two days and,managed to devastate my life.

Description of Work: The crew came in and cleaned our carpet. They started at the farthest end of the home and worked from there. One of the guys pretreated the stains while the other was cleaning the rooms. They moved furniture and cleaned the carpet underneath. They cleaned our steps, nineteen in all.
