I plan to hire them annually to trim my trees.

There was a little trouble initially with confirming the scheduled date of the work but, since the work was going to be done right after Thanksgiving, I'd chalk that up to the holidays. The Good Guys showed up with two crews and we initially did a walk-around to confirm everything that was to be one; they also addressed my concerns about the clean-up and preventing damage to plants, roof, etc. The work was completed in about 3-4 hours, including the clean-up which was done very well. Very pleased with the professionalism and congeniality of the crew. Would definitely use the Good Guys again!

Bob came the same day I called to look at the job. We thought the price was fair. They agreed to do the work that week because of the potential dangers created by the split tree trunk. The job was done in 2 days and they left the yard neat. The men doing the work were polite and professional.

We used Good Guys Tree Service at our home. My parents needed tree trimming done at there home as well. We were so happy with the service they provided for us, we used them at my parents home as well. The owner actually worked right along with the crew, as they had a super busy schedule this particular weekend. The owner is a super nice guy who obviously will do whatever it takes to get the job done. I was very happy with the service they provided and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others. I will be using them again!

Good Guys Tree Service was working at my next door neighbors house. We had them come over and take a look at a tree that we thought wasn't looking too good. They recommended removing it at some point...we elected to do it right away even though they thought it would be OK for a couple more years. We also had them trim tree limbs from another tree that were hanging over our roof. The guys did a great job with removal, trimming and clean up. I will be using them again to trim some trees at my parents home very soon.

The crew worked for almost 4 hours cleaning up the trees. They were more than happy to fine tune a couple places upon request to complete the job. Positive attitudes and good work ethics. Clean up excellent. Will use them again when needed.

I called Good Guys Tree Service because their website said they did lot and land clearing, and I had an extremely overgrown backyard. They were the twelfth company I had called, and the only tree service, so I figured I get the dead branches removed from the oak in the front while they were here. When Tyler came out, he was very professional and courteous, and knowledgeable. He suggested that since the oak still had good branches, that they should only trim the smaller dead ones, and not the great big ones as that might send the tree into shock, given it wasn't winter. And he stressed several times that if I got someone else to do it, to make sure they sterilized their saw blades, because of the oak rot prevalent in the neighborhood. And more importantly, if he didn't know something, he admitted it instead of trying to BS me. We discussed removing the hackberries and legustrum in the front of the yard, then went to the backyard. When I told him I needed the brush cleared, he said they didn't do that kind of work. I explained my dilemma (eleven other companies, 6 didn't bother to call me back!) he said he would talk to his boss and see what they could do. Two days later, Tyler had a quote for all the work, including the yard clearing. I was so elated to have someone willing to do it, and price seemed reasonable, that I didn't bother to call another company. Five days later they were already working when I got home. They didn't cut as much from the oak as I expected, but they discovered buds on a lot of those limbs so they were more conservative in their trimming. They trimmed all the trees in the yard, even tho I had not specifically pointed out each and every one. The only hiccup was the definition of 'removal' when it came to the hackberries in the backyard. When Tyler and I talked about removing the ones in the front by the root ball (they'll come back if you just cut them off level with the ground), I assumed the same was true of the ones in the back. But they had not dug them up, only cut them level. By that point, Bob, the owner, had come out to check on his guys' progress. It turns out the quote did not include digging up ALL the hackberries, only the ones in front, as digging up trees was a lot of work (I know that from personal experience!), and they were trying to save me some money. Well, I do appreciate the thought, but I've cut down those hackberries twice already, I wanted them REMOVED. Bob was very understanding, and when he saw that the trees were still fairly small (less than 6" diameter), he said it wouldn't be any problem to come by with a chipper and take care of them. At no extra charge. His crews were booked for the next two weeks, but he told me to call and remind him and he'd get it done. I called two weeks later, and to my surprise and delight, they were finishing up with a job and would be able to take care of it that afternoon. The work was done by the time I got home. Now, Bob could have not done that extra bit of work, since I'd already paid them two weeks earlier, but he made it very clear that he wanted his customers to be happy, and he wanted his company to have a reputation for integrity. In my book, they've succeeded on both counts. I'm happy with the work they did, and thrilled that I can go in my backyard again and not have to worry about those %$#&@! hackberries! They've definitely lived up to their name -- they are truly Good Guys!

Wonderful service, hardworking crew and very clean! I received 3 bids to perform the work I needed done. Good Guys Tree service came in with the best price, other bids ranged 2-3 times higher than Good Guys. I was afraid they would not live up to my expectations but went with them as they fit my budget. I must say they exceeded my expectations in all categories. I will definitely use their services again. They were courteous of my wife's flowers so they would not get crushed by the falling branches. They moved them when needed and even hung them back up when the job was finished.

Well, I've definitely dealt with some duds in the past when it comes to tree trimmers. Bob and his crew were truly outstanding. They even identified some issues I wanted addressed without me even mentioning it. Very thoroughly and they seem to actually care about trees. Well priced, but more importantly, high quality tree services.

They did a good job. They were prompt. They came in, gave us quote, and were able to do the service the next day. They arrived when they said they would be here. They hauled away all of the trimmings. They pulled out a dead tree. They cleaned up. They estimated when they would be done and they were pretty accurate with that.
