Description of Work: Good Guys sent an arborist to give us a quote. He was very informative and helpful. However on the day of the actual tree trimming there was just the crew, not the arborist, and the crew had a few questions that we weren't really sure about. It would have been nice to have the arborist come at least at the beginning of the cut to make sure everything was clear.

Description of Work: They came to give me a quote. We agreed and the work was to be done in two parts. Cut down brush and let it die and then return to take brush completely down. THey did the first part fine but when they came back for second part they said their appraiser/quoter had made a mistake and said the price would be ten times the quote. They did this mid job. They were going to leave me high and dry and not honor their quote but the person actually doing the work came over on his off time and finished the job. At his request I paid the company the original amount (even though he said he was on his off time). I talked to the owner but to no avail. Would never use them again- classic bait and switch.

Description of Work: They cut down a large Sycamore tree that was dying and planted a 30 gallon Monterry Oak. | |They arrived on time and cut down the tree without incidence. They even ground down the stump. Then they provided a 30 gallon Monterry Oak tree for us and planted it. I received several bids for this service from other tree company's and Good Guys was hands down the best and the quality of service and professionalism was top notch! I was extremely happy with every aspect of our contact with them - they were nice on the phone making appointments, they were professional when doing the work, they answered all of my questions as well. And when we had a few issues with the new tree, their arborist answered my questions on the phone and even came back to our house 3 other times to make sure the tree was doing well. I am very pleased with the company and the work they did for us. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Description of Work: Trimmed and opened up the canopies of 3 tall live oak trees removing lower limbs that were impacting house and yard. We were very happy with the job Gavin and crew did. They showed up on time and were finished in 4 hours including cleaning up the yard. They did a lot of work in that time. They followed direction on which limbs we wanted removing- something that we had a problem with other companies who did our past tree trimming. What sold me was the price, but more importantly, that the crew chief, Gavin, was present when they gave us an estimate for the job. Other tree services that we hired in the past, we would tell the owner what we wanted, but was never around to ensure that our work requirements were met. I would certainly recommend Good Guys.
