We had a great experience with Blain. He is a true professional who knows his business, especially natural travertine stone floors. Our work took several days with a large area to clean-polish and seal. He was always on time, careful moving furniture and a good communicator explaining the process. Our floors now look great with a slight shine which is what we requested. We did have some small issues with a couple of spots. Blain came right back took care of them. We found that he stands behind his 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Blain was fantastic. He was very punctual when he came to give us our quote and was very competitive price wise. He told us exactly what he was planning to do and how long it would take. He showed up on time and worked quickly and efficiently. Our floors look brand new! He had a lot of area to cover (kitchen, breakfast area, hallways, living room) but the results are amazing. Blain did an excellent job cleaning my tile floors. I have several dogs and people in my home who are constantly dragging in dirt on their feet or paws, even though we try to keep it clean. I regularly sweep, but hadn't mopped in ages and it was time for a professional to do the heavy lifting for us to clean about 700-800 SF of tile. Equipment - Previously being in an outdoor cleaning service business, I appreciate people who invest their money in the right equipment for the job. That's what I got with Blain. As soon as I saw the demonstration video on his website, I knew I wanted an estimate from him, as his equipment was simply the indoor version of my own outdoor equipment - the safest and easiest way to clean a large, flat surface. Timing - He was prompt in arrival for both the estimate and subsequent service. Professionalism and Knowledge - Blain was professional on the phone and in person, taking the time to fully explain each step of the process to me without acting like a 'know it all'. I could tell he knew what he was doing and never felt like he was rushing to get finished with me so he could move on to his next job. I cancelled the other estimate I had scheduled. Price - It was a little more than I expected, but after it has been completed, I have no regrets as I got much more thorough work than I expected to happen. The Job - Blain first vacuumed my floors, then applied a light chemical to help loosen the top layer of dirt and allowed it to sit for about 10 minutes. After that, he used a type of floor buffer to agitate the dirt and finally cleaned it all with a hot water tool that simultaneously extracts the water via a vacuum. He did this section by section and even moved all of my heavy furniture for me with furniture sliders. Impressive. Overall - I would definitely call Blain again as I'm always looking for a professional to do the job once and do it right, so I don't have to worry about it. That's what I got with him and the extra money was worth it for everything I received in the service. I would not hesitate to recommend him to a friend.

Brian was very knowledgable. He came out to give an estimate and talked us through the options, giving us pros and cons. On the day of service, he showed up on time, was quick and efficient. Very happy with the results.

So the job went as follows: 1) We had and unexpected family visitation on the day of the scheduled work by Gold Standard. Blain graciously resecheduled to a day we could have him over. This was a sure sign of caring and flexibility. 2) Blain was exactly on time on the appointed day.. He reviewed the work and scouted out all filling repais and areaas that needed attention and schooleed us on letting the floor sealing cure before resuming traffic. 3) Blain moved all the standing furniture and we did not have to do a single thing to get ready for this work 4) So we penned up our dogs and left for the day. No fuss no troubles and we felt very comfortable with Blain being in our home unmonitored. 5) Upon our return the result despite all the guarantees and promises was breath taking.! All the grout lines were absolutely stain free and looked exactly the same at all locations across the flooring space. The four or five filling repairs were done so well we could not find them again. Finally the floor was polished in an even and creamy fashion over the entire space and really looked better than the day it was installed. We were ecstatic with the appearance and the uniformity of the Travertine. Bottom line Blain an Gold Standard Flooring exceeded our expectation and we still comment on it every morning.

Blain was very professional and was always on -time. He responded promptly to my questions. There were couple of areas where I saw the sealing material stayed on the tiles and was not cleaned. But overall, I was satisfied. His quote was lower than another quote I had received and looking at his prompt response I decided to let Blain do the job for my newly built home. For whatever reason the builder did not do the sealing of the grouts.

He was really great. He was responsive and let me know what was going to happen every step of the wasy. He let me know what to do in the future to take care of the countertop. He was very upfront, honest about the work that he did and let me know about little things that I may want to take a look at in the future that I was not aware of.

Blain arrived at 9 a.m., right on time & we went over what carpeting had to be cleaned. Blaine cleaned the rooms & staircase & took his time with each area. The carpet in all areas looked like brand new when he finished. I highly recommend Gold Standard Floor care & I know I will use Gold Standard Floor care again for clenaing my carpets & other foor types..

They did a great job. Showed up on time, very careful to make sure their equipment didn't damage my other floors (wood) or any walls in my house. The tile and grout were very clean when they were done!

Utmost professionallism was displayed by this company. The owner was very friendly, responsive, and careful with protecting areas that could have been damaged by the large hoses used in the process. He also took the time to point out areas that did not clean well due to other reasons (paint on grout, etc), and discuss with me ways to keep the grout from getting dirty in the future (make sure water does not "pool" in the grout when cleaning). He also followed up with coupons for future use and thanks for doing business.

We just bought a new house, and the builder strongly recommended that we have our tile floor, showers and back splashes sealed. After talking to several other sources, I confirmed that it was important to have this done. So I had a few flooring companies come out and give me estimates. Blain was professional start to finish. They came to my site, prepared it, put runners at the entrance to eliminate any tracking. Equipment was state of the art. He worked very efficiently. He submitted the bid, made a good augment for hiring his company. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He cleaned 3 rooms of carpet, 3 bathrooms with grout plus showers stalls, counters and natural stone in one day. I think he did a good job and his price was fair.

Blain was professional from start to finish. He sent me an email reminder of the date & time of the scheduled service. He was on time, prepared the areas, protected corners, immediately went to work and did an outstanding job. My tile floors look brand new! I was impressed with Blains work attire, neatness of his truck and his care for how he did the job. I have a terminally ill boyfriend in the home who spends most of his time on the couch. While the business interactions were priimarily with me, Blain acknowledged him each time and would shake his hand. A little thing, but you rarely find this level of professioinalism & customer service any more. I couldn't be more pleased.

He arrived on time, started at about 9:45 Am and was finished by 3PM. He even came back the following day in order to help move the area rugs back into pplace. This is his company and he works with integrity. I highly recommend this Company

He was very prompt and professional and I thought did a great job.

Everything was perfect. Blain came out to do the estimate when he said he would, then came out to do the work precisely when we agreed (which was on a Sunday, actually, to accommodate my schedule). He explained everything in advance, then did what he said. In the end, he charged me a couple of Dollars *less* than the estimate. He took care of moving all my stuff out of the room beforehand, then replacing it after. I really couldn't have asked for anything else or better!
