Mr Fleshman was quick to diagnose the problem: the motor coupling device had broken and needed to be repaired for the spin cycle to work. He was adept at disassembling the necessary components to access the area where the device was and efficiently made the replacement.

TomFleshman was very prompt in his reponse to our call, and arrived at the appointed time. He quickly solved our icemaker problem, and diagnosed the dryer problem just as quickly. He was very careful to place sliders under the dryer before pulling out, in order to protect our floor. Hewas very thorough in explaining evryhing he was doing. After examining the interior of the machine, he determined that the belt and rollers should be replaced. He gave us an accurate estimate of the cost, and would not accept any money, even for this first trip, until we had decided what we wanted to do. After we checked out new dryers, we called him bck. Again, he showed up right on time and comleted his work in short order. He explained that his work and the parts were guaranteed for 90 days. He charged us only one trip charge, and only for one hour of labor. The dryer performs beautifully.

I used Fleshman Appliance Repair Inc. for a number of years, to work on my kitchen appliances. He was reasonably prompt. Being a small business owner, he worked on his own. All things being equal I ll go with a small business. He gives me the facts and lets me decide whether I want to replace the appliance or fix it. I trust him. I will not be using him anymore, because he lives to far away to continue to see me and is limiting his service area to Northwest Austin.

He was very professional and prompt. Came when he said he would. The price was very good. Definite "A" on price. He had to come out a couple times but it was due to a wrong part and I wasn't in dyer need. I would definitely call him again. He's very honest, trustworthy and respectful.

He appeared when he promised(at a given hour, not "between this hour and that"), figured out what was wrong, ordered parts and installed them 2 days later when they arrived.

They came right out, told us what was wrong. They fixed it in no time!

Refrigerator-freezer wouldn't cool. The problem was either the compressor or the relay. He determined it was the relay and immediately replaced (part on truck). He was done in less than a half hour. Bright, understated fellow, named Tom.

Great job.

I called Mr.Fleshman in the morning and left a message. He returned my call in the afternoon and said he could come by the same day. He quickly got to work and diagnosed the problem. (I had a loose connection in one of the wires.) The dryer started working again on its own. Mr. Fleshman said if the dryer stopped heating again, he would not charge me for a service call to come back. He also vacuumed out years of lint from the inside of my dryer. His price was very reasonable.

Mr. Fleshman returned my call on Friday promptly and scheduled a call for the following Monday. I really appreciated his willingness to work with my schedule. He said he'd come at 9 a.m. and he did. I didn't need to take off for an entire morning. Since the dishwasher was at least 12 years, we discussed whether doing any repairs was advisable. He recommended not going over $100. A new water pump might fix the problem but there were no guarantees. My husband and I decided to take the risk. As it turned out, that did not take care of the problem and we have since bought a new dishwasher. When I contacted him, Mr. Fleshman offered to refund half the cost of repair. We turned him down as he had been very clear about the risk involved and we made the choice. We like working with him and will call again.

Our freezer conked out Christmas day but then seemed to come back. By the 29th however, it was gone again and this time took the refrigerator with it. The light would come on but nothing was cool. Called Tom Fleshman and he was there the next morning, looked at it and said the switch was broken but he could replace it. No hidden charges, no 'gotta replace the whole thing' and a really professional and pleasant experience. He is definitely our new repair guy!

Mr. Fleshman came the same day I called and replaced the part in a short time. His recommendation to not use the self-cleaning function was very good. Not only does it seem to not destroy the igniter's, but using manual method also saves on energy costs and actually takes less time. His charges were less than a nationwide firm, even with their discounts.

Tom was able to schedule a visit and quickly diagnosed the problem with the microwave was a fuse and that the oven needed a new element. For safety reasons, replacing a fuse is more complicated than some other electronics and involves considerable dis-assembly. It was quickly repaired. The oven is an older model, so he had to order the part. Tom returned, as promised, replaced the oven element, and checked to see that the oven was once more operating correctly.

In this instance, our icemaker stopped working. We called Tom Fleshman, he came out diagnosed the problem, ordered the part to fix it, came back and installed the part, and we paid him as described above. This scenario has been the same on our dishwasher and refrigerator's in the past. Everything works after he fixes it and continues to work for a long time.

Had to order part but completely satisfactory.

CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT TOM FLESHMAN. HE IS THE ONE THAT GOT THE MANUFACTURER TO REPLACE THE DISH DRAWERS AND SAVED ME THE $1200 OF HAVING TO PURCHASE A NEW ONE.
