They don't try to sell you anything, it is really nice. When I ask about products, they are very knowledgable and able to do what I ask. They are professional and friendly. They also do a great job of cleaning up after themselves. They are very fair in price, I have used them quite a bit.

I thought the price was really good and they were very punctual and professional. I'd probably use them again if needed.

They came over a month before to give me an estimate, but when I called them they went immediately to work as though they'd done the estimate yesterday. They pulled a permit and set a date. It was raining the morning they were supposed to come, but they surprised me by showing up the minute the rain stopped and finishing all the work within a few hours. They were done so fast that I wasn't able to make it back over, but they were flexible enough to meet me the next morning to pick up payment and at the same time gave me lots of useful advice in making a plan of attack to upgrade the necessary wiring in my 100-year-old house.

Will was very cordial and helpful. I showed him about 5 light fixtures that had various problems and he resolved each problem quickly and efficiently. He also gave me a quote that seemed very fair for a bit of a bigger project, and gave me advice about other "do it ourself" options that might be cheaper. I thought Duhon was great, and I will absolutely use them for all my electrical needs in the future. They also gave me a $10 Angie's List discount!

They came on time, allowing me to get to work and still work a full 8 hours. Both men are bright, energetic and informative. In addition to the work they performed that day I asked about a future rewire of the house. Damion said if I want to control my cost and still get the benefit of rewiring, consider upgrading instead of rewiring. An upgrade would give me everything I needed and cost hundreds rather than thousands. His advice was 1- upgrade the service panel on the exterior of the house. 2 - upgrade the interior fuse box panel. 3- switch the heavy use devices such as ac to the exterior (upgraded service panel) 4- use the new interior panel to run 3 prong grounded outlets to the interior of the house. 5- select new outlet sites on walls near the peak of the roof(this saves time because it is easier to install wiring if the service person can stand). If I felt that limit on the work would suit y needs ( and it will ), it would save me a lot of money. He has lots of work. No skin off his nose.

He came at the appointed time. It took him a very short time. The problem is solved.

I am very impressed with Damian's level of service. I own a rental house and had a light circuit burn out, causing enough smoke for my tenants to call the fire department. Jamie was easy to get in touch with on his cell and offered to come by within the hour. After determining it was only a burned out dimmer switch, he replaced it with an inexpensive on/off switch and did not charge me anything. I wish there were more contractors like Damian out there.

It went great. I called on Thursday night and they were willing to come right out. I wasn't staying at the house that night anyway so opted for Friday morning. The problem was weird from my perspective but turned out to be a very simple fix. House has older electrical design and one side of a breaker had failed causing all kinds of weird problems. Breaker replaced, problem fixed. BEST PART: No charge. Just asked me for my business when I have a bigger problem. Will do.

We recently renovated our kitchen which required some additional lights and outlets. The Good: They are better electricians then we've used in the past. When we hire Damien to do the work, he's the one that showed up and did it. He arrived early in the morning with his brother and started the work promptly. The quality of the work is good. They were easy to communicate with and I was comfortable alone in the house while they worked. They were friendly for the most part and unobtrusive. The Bad: The estimate was really off. Our quote of $750 turned into an actual bill of $1150 and we had no idea of this shift until he handed us the invoice. This 30% difference was more than we could afford for the project and we would of made some simple changes to stay in our budget. Another issue I had was both of them went on a simple errand to Home Depot and we paid for both of them to do this. Only one of them should of gone. It was a waste of our money to pay for both of them. The recessed lights they purchased were twice as expensive then the 10+ lights we had installed by a previous electrician and they don't even look like our existing ones. When I asked to see the receipt, he pointed out purchases for another job he made on this errand. I'm already paying twice what I should for this errand and to find out they were buying supplies for another job is really frustrating. They also were unable to finish installing our garbage disposal because they didn't have a "whip" with them which could of easily been purchased at Home Depot. They left some outlet plates off and lastly, even though we asked them to use the back door to prevent debris from being tracked through-out our house, they didn't really do this. When they left, there was a big messy trail of dust (from the drywall being cut up) that went all through our house to the front door.

William, who is Damien's brother, came and completed the work in 3.5 hours. Everything was done professionally and efficiently. The only problem came when I realized that the fan did not come with a light, which I wanted. The new fan was the same fan as the one being replaced, and William took the light from the old fan and put it on the new one--problem solved.

Did a good job with the installation, but wish there was a little more communication.

When I told him the Angies List recommended him to me, and he gave me a 10% discount. He did exactly what I asked him to do and did a great job. He was responsive, punctual, and friendly. His pricing was very good as well.

Damien scheduled a time to come look at the job and give an estimate. His fee is based on time and materials, so he estimated how long it would take at most, which would have cost a little over $500. He made an appointment to come back a few days later to do the work, and he was right on time. He and his helper were able to finish faster than the worst case scenario estimate, even though I asked him to add another outlet, so the total cost was less than $500. He actually charged for a little less time than he spent on the job.

The light bulb popped/exploded on Memorial Day, and I was able to locate Damien Duhon from the list - he answered the phone on the holiday and we were able to agree on a convenient time later in the week. He arrived exactly at the time of the appointment.

Overall it went very well. The tech (forgot name) was really nice and straight forward. A cool guy!

I called Damien on Friday afternoon and told him what I needed done. He told me he could be there Wednesday morning at 9:00 AM. He showed up promptly at 9 with another technician and they got to work. They had everything done in about an hour. They were very personable and courteous and did a great job.

I needed to ask a lot of questions from the repairman to get the information I needed to make decisions regarding the repair. Otherwise this was a overall positive experience.

These guys showed up on time, did what they said they'd do for the price we discussed, tidied up, and left. I usually do work like this myself, but this was going to be fiddly and I wasn't sure it would look right. They cut two new holes and installed two ceiling light fixtures, each of which had three pendant lights haning from wires, arranged in a row. So I wanted all six lamps to be hanging in a single row, with the distance between the last lamp of the first fixture and the first lamp of the second fixture the same distance apart as all the others. And I wanted all six centered exactly over the table front to rear and left to right. And I wanted all the lamps to hang at exactly the same height above the table, even though the fixtures were being mounted on an angled ceiling. Duhon got it just exactly right in about 90 minutes total. It would have taken me days. They also fixed an unrelated light switch very quickly.

Called Damien to set up a time for an estimate. He was able to meet with me the same day, but we set it for a couple days later (due to my schedule). He showed up on time, was very courteous and knowledgeable, was able to give me an estimate right away. His estimate was about $2300 plus supplies but said he might be able to come in under that. Also said it would be 2 days to complete. He started the work a couple days later, as scheduled, and had the supplied ready for me to pick up. He actually beat me to the house that morning. He completed the work early on the 2nd day, and came in under the estimate. Total with supplies, I paid $2000. The work was great, no complaints. He also cleaned up well after the job was done. We have some more electrical work that will need to be completed later in our remodel and I'll definitely be calling Damien again.

Received service within 2 days of calling. Very professional, very polite, and very knowledgeable. When the electrician discovered he would need a part, he went immediately and called to let me know he was on his way back.

I had questions about the safety of aluminum wiring in my house. Some of the switches and outlets were subject to loss of power. During the estimate Mr. Duhon explained the areas of concern. He also explained what work was not necessary. The work was done quickly and professionally. They were careful to clean up all the old outlets and switches. I would certainly recommend their work in the Austin area.

They came out the next day and kept me posted on the progress. The work was done quickly. I was given instructions on how to improve the setup of the circuit (outdoors) to reduce problems associated with direct sunlight and rain with respect to a dust boot for the switch.

We were remodelling a guest bathroom and had removed the old lighting that was mounted in the ceiling. We wanted replace the old light with two new lights in the wall over the sink. Duhon electric came out to remove the old wiring that was left over from the original light and then installed the 2 new lights. The new lights required the crew to drill holes in the drywall and mount the lights, as well as run wiring through the walls and attic. Scheduling with Duhon couldn't have been easier, they were ready to have a team come out the day I called, but due to scheduling issues, I wasn't going to be ready for them for a few days. They put me on their schedule for an early morning appointment on the day I needed them without complaint. The team arrived exactly when they said they would. They were courteous, even taking off their shoes so as not to track dirt around. They new exactly what they needed to do and how to do it. The only thing they asked for was where our attic access was. They were quick, finishing the job in a little over an hour and even gave me some suggestions as to how to patch the hole leftover from the original light. They also reattached wires to the bathroom fan that had come loose and got it working again at no extra charge. I had assumed the fan was broken, so this was quite a surprise. The only thing that I can even say was less than perfect was that they aren't equipped to take credit cards without having to use a paypal setup, which charges an extra fee. Overall though, the ease of scheduling, punctuality and quality of work were excellent and I highly recommend them.

They did up the whole electrical panel. I had estimates from a number of companies, and I felt that Duhon was able to communicate better and understood what I wanted. Their pricing is competitive. They have still not completed the job, and have to come back and finish the left over work, like switched and plugs. So far the work has gone pretty good.
