Pretty straightforward. I had ordered the fixtures and then called to schedule an appointment. Andy was prompt and very efficient. I will definitely use this company again.

They did a tricky job very thoroughly and carefully, were very professional, and charged a reasonable amount. I've had Reid Holm do larger jobs on my old house previously, and those projects also went very smoothly. He replaced the exterior fuse boxes for both sides of my duplex, and did a great job on that too.

Answered my call. Scheduled the service. Showed up on time. Very courteous, friendly and professional. Worked quickly. Solved the problem. Very reasonable charge.

Wiring my garage as a woodworking shop was going to involve quite a bit of electrical work so I got three quotes from three different highly rated Angie?s list electricians, including Decker Electric. Before I met with any of the electricians I had a drawing and a plan of how I wanted the work done, what type of outlets, where each one was going to be located, etc. More than any of the contractors, Reid Holm took the time to understand what I wanted. In the end, he made several suggestions that took the plan I had and made it even better. Specifically: a) upgrade the service on the house to 200A from 150A so the house lights don?t dim when I turn on my equipment, b) install 4 bulb fluorescent fixtures instead of 2-bulb to give more light, c) place the breakers for the new outlets in the panel outside the garage to avoid taking up wall space with another panel inside the garage and to save cost. The finished job looks great and it is everything I had wanted. And, Decker did the work at a very competitive price. Reid and his team of electricians were very professional ? their work was excellent, they did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, and exactly for the agreed upon price. If you have an important electrical job and you really want it done right, done at a competitive price, and done by a very professional team, I recommend Reid Holm and Decker Electric.

He ran a little late, but called to let me know when to expect him. His revised arrival time was accurate. He was very polite and professional. He got the job done fast and double checked his work. He advised against doing extra work which was not needed. (very honest) It is good to know a good, honest electrician.

Waited three days for response before calling another electrician.

We had one issue, but they came back out and resolved the next morning. Very pleased.

I bought a 1950s home w/ concrete walls that needed some electrical updating. Mr. Holm came out to give me an estimate and spent a lot of time w/ me talking about my options. He and his team then installed grounded three-prong outlets in my living room and kitchen and did some other wiring as well I believe. The job was more complicated than usual b/c I have concrete walls and a very low roof w/ a tight attic/crawl space. I didn't realize until later how much of a pain it must have been to get up into the attic to do the work but they got the job done. Mr. Holm and the other two electricians (I believe his sons?) were incredibly nice and professional as well. It was a pleasure to work with them. I plan to use them again to do some additional electrical updating in the future.

I had electricity going off and On in different areas of my duplex. I had another company come out and spend hours trying to figure out the issue and could not find the problem. Within 10min of getting to my house Decker had the issue identified and fixed it pretty quick. They are going to be my first call from now on.

Reid and his crew arrived on time and did work in a timely manner. They kept us informed throughout the day and answered all questions we had. They were very professional. We were very pleased with the work they did and highly recommend them.

I have used them a few times and have always been very happy with their work. They are very professional and very personable. They do everything that you need - give you a fair estimate, show up on time and clean up everything after the work is done. If there is something that is not done the way you wanted it, they immediately take care of it.

Job was done in 30 minutes and was absolutely perfect! They came exactly (to the minute) on time and the electricians sent were very nice and polite. Don?t bother locking up the fine silver?these people are as honest and good as they come?THE VERY BEST IN TEXAS.

It went very well. At first, I didn't get a return phone call in fast timeframe but I think it was just that they were very busy so a small issue. Reid was very professional over the phone, taking his time to listen well and be sure he fully understood all of my questions and needs. My service was scheduled for the following week. Reid called just before arrival of the electricians to do a final confirmation, very well done. Andy and Josh came out, smart, friendly and even though quite young, were well trained and seemed older due to their level of professionalism. They performed all of the services well and really took ownership of doing a quality job.

I have used Reid Electric many times. The guys arrived on time, completed all the required tasks and were done within 5 hours. I had thought it would take most of the day! Very competent, worked extremely well as a team, very polite and friendly. I trust their ability to handle the jobs I need done at a reasonable price.

Very professional crew. Had to change the layout of ceiling lighting due to roofing structure, they were very helpful in suggesting alternatives to the design/layout. Looks great. Minimal drywall repair work required.

They came bright, early and on time. They asked me to describe the problem and quickly got to work. They figured out it was a third socket with a bad connection. They then explained how the two non-working sockets where both connected after the socket with a bad connection. I liked that they explained the layout and the reason behind them. They were very polite and professional.

A success story because I called to have one ceiling light replaced with another one in my foyer. I received an immediate response. My bill was very fair. The work was completed in 50 minutes and done just right. Reid Holm, the owner, did the work. He is fair, competent, and a responsible individual. Very nice working with this company. Thanks! p.s. This bid was $50.00- 200.00 less than 3 other electrical outfits I checked, even accounting for the $15.00 travel fee.

I scheduled a meeting with Reid to review the work requirements, as well as one bit of work I subsequently decided not to do. Reid came right on time on Saturday for the review, gave me an estimate and some ideas on the work that we mutually decided wouldn't be such a good idea. We scheduled a time about a week later to have his crew come in and do the work. Labor for the two-man crew was about $120/hour. They arrived exactly on time, and completed the work in an hour, as promised. Very professional, clean, and quick. In addition, they tidied up a junction box that I had installed for ceiling fan power.
