very good quality, but price seems a bit higher than others. overall, worth a strong recommendation if you are not on a tight budget.

I was quite impressed with Dave's Automotive. After reading their stellar reviews online I decided to book an appointment on their website. The website is a breeze to set up an appointment. They even have a Google Calendar link to book your desired time and they will email you to confirm that it has been scheduled. I spoke to a gentleman on the phone who was very polite and accomodating when I explained to him that I had to postpone my initial appointment by a day. The inside of the shop is impressive. Comfortable seating is provided and service is prompt and friendly. The highlight was being able to see all of their stellar credentials displayed throughout the office on the walls. A nice touch was a series of informative automotive repair tutorials that run on a loop on a couple of t.v.s in the office. They even offered to give me a ride to work upon leaving my car at the shop but I respectfully declined. Photos of your vehicle with detailed notes are emailed to you after you leave your car for an inspection. They will tell you exactly what is wrong and what parts you will need to have it repaired. I thought this was a brilliant touch and that more auto companies should implement this strategy. The only thing that turned me off was the price estimate I ended up with. I am still in the process of doing price comparisons but their prices seem like they might be a little high for a basic tune up. The most expensive parts I needed to replace were my two front tires but everything else was relatively minor. They were asking a little over a thousand dollars and I just couldn't justify paying that much in a lump sum. Still, I may be off in my personal estimation so I might very well follow up with them if my continued research pulls up the same numbers. Overall, Dave's Automotive was a very pleasant experience!

Had 8 AM appointment. Dropped off car on time and I had not heard anything by noon so called to see if they had an estimate. They had not even looked at my car yet so I started to get upset. However, when they did call back with an estimate 2 1/2 hours later, Michelle asked if I purchased the car when it was new. She told me the cost if they were to do the repairs, but then said that if my car was purchased new the repair would probably be covered under the manufacturer's warranty and that I need to check with the dealer before I spent money unnecessarily. Turns out the repair was covered under the warranty. Thanks to their honesty I saved a lot of money!! I will definitely use Dave's Ultimate Automotive in the future. I can trust them not to take advantage of a girl that doesn't know much about car repairs!

I really like them. They're communicative, upfront and get things ready.

My daughter has a 2007 Honda CRV with about 70K miles. I called to inquire if this year/model needed to have a timing belt replaced. I had heard rumor that it needed to be changed about every 60K. I spoke with Michele who time to look up this car and the servicing that would be needed. She told me that this year/model did not have a timing belt but rather a chain and that it would not need anything. also recommended to check the serpintine belt to ensure that was not wore. Overall very pleased as they went out of their way to research the car and my questions while I was on the phone with them.

They are good. They email you pictures of what is wrong and they takes pictures of everything before they check it off and email them to you. The price was probably very high. I would use them again.

Daves Ulitmate has great customer service. They actually shuttled me home and picked me up after my car was ready. My car needed a catalytic converter and the price was decent. Michelle, the service rep, took the time to answer all my questions and was generous with information on how to extend the life of the catalytic converter and other stuff about my car. A great place - thank you again!

I went in because after buying new tires, I was told to have my car aligned. I reported this to Michelle at Dave's, also asked to check the brakes. Rather than taking that information and doing the work, she told me, after the inspection, that I did not need to have either worked on. She asked about an oil change which I knew was due and was charged only for that one service. Obviously, honesty is valued there.

When my dealer quoted $365 for the small battery replacement, I thought that high and went searching. After getting several other quotes, I realized I'd be paying in this range anywhere. Dave's quote was $385, but I had a 20% Angie's List coupon, so went for it. I was able to talk to Todd by phone to get the estimate and made a convenient online appointment. Once there, I did sit for about an hour, but have become accustomed to even longer waits at my dealership. The people at Dave's are friendly and helpful. I'll go back.

This was an excellence experience. We couldn't fix my problem because it wasn't happening at the time my car was brought in, but they were honest and instead of having me spend all kids of money on diagnostics and such to find out the issue, they recommended I bring the car back when I was having trouble with it again. I got serviced very quickly and was treated with respect. What more can you ask for?

I’ve had five transactions with them. I found that their prices were reasonable the quality of their work was always good. About a year ago, however, I had one terrible experience with them: they left my car unlocked with my keys in my car and the dome light on, in a bad part of town. When I went to pick up my car in the morning, I found the battery to be dead. Because of that experience, I decided not work to with them anymore.

The service was good overall. They had an online coupon, which was nice.

Overall, I was satisfied with the work they did. They offer shuttle service, which was great.

So the details are purely the most recent visit I made to Dave's. I cannot tell you how many times I've been rescued by this place in the past few months. I'm a first time truck owner (it's second hand) and I patently don't know what I'm doing, and they saved me when a) my truck skidded through a red light (new tires), wouldn't start (new spark plugs), rumbled (rear suspension loose) and when I needed my checkup. I've been so many times they just gave me one of those 'you're now a special member!' tags with the automatic discount. And they threw in a spare key for free (thank god, since not more than three weeks later I locked myself out.) Michelle and Todd have been great, they set me up with appointments right away and the turnaround is great. I get reminder emails, text confirmations and they send videos illustrating what's wrong with the car and what needs to be done. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

They were great. They called when they found more stuff. I also felt it was reasonably priced. They were very helpful.

The experience was very pleasant. The person at the counter explained the steps to me from the beginning till the moment I picked up the keys after payment. They did not try to get us to buy unnecessary repairs, they were clear about what was needed to be done and why. I felt good right from when I walked into the store seeing the nice waiting area. The price for the work was reasonable, though not the cheapest place in town, and the work done was first rate. They have a clear checklist and reporting template for what they found with the car and what they did and things to watch out for in the future. I will use these folks with our other car (a Toyota Camry) and for further maintenance on our Prius, without any hesitation.

They are terrific. I have used them several times before. They always get the diagnosis right. They are not the cheapest around, but they don't charge for unnecessary work.

. I dropped my car off around nine and took the bus into campus ( The central location is about 300 yards from a UT bus route). They called me around ten and told me my wipers blade needed replaced and that my state inspection was due in a month. I appreciated that they took the time to look the vehicle over and didn't just change the oil and ignore everything else. It was good to go to a mechanic that actually took the time to make sure my car was running correctly. I've been going to big box type service stations recently, and I hate feeling uncertain the car is really fixed when I get it back. I'll definitely go back to Dave's
