Description of Work: They replaced my old wooden garage door with a metal one and hauled the wooden one away. Everything went fine. My only concern is that they do not warranty the door if customer uses an old operator. My operator does not have the electronic safety that detects if something is situated in the door's path. I could understand that Coward would not want to be liable for any accidents, but if the closer/operator is working fine I think the door and its rails, etc., should be guaranteed. Otherwise, everything was great!

Description of Work: I'm assuming the rating goes from "A" the best to "F" the worst. |Installed new garage door with new door opener. Once I got the price for the one I wanted everything went pretty smoothly. The estimate given to me the first time was not based on what I told them I wanted but once I did some research and called the company back for revised estimate on the type of door I actually wanted I received excellent service. Ran into problems with manufacturer due to color but Cowart resolved the problem by painting the new door for me.

This person recommended a color, but I wasn't sure since they did not have a match for the trim color. He encouraged me to go to the showroom to see all the colors personally. The staff there were very helpful. We decided to go with the original recommendation and it turned out great. I have used this company for repair work on the old door and they also installed a new opener several months ago.
Description of Work: They removed our 24 year old wood garage door and installed a steel door with windows, which included all new hardware.

+ -1 moreInstallers were EXCELLENT, polite, explained operation and features, gave advice and cleaned up area, product is fine. HOWEVER.... Management/Office sales provided VERY poor customer service. Door and special features were discussed, selected, and ordered, price quote given. They called when it was in stock and ready for installation, set date, I took morning off to be there. Installers began installation, discovered special features were missing. Main office said they weren't in the shipment, would have to be ordered and another day would have to be scheduled for additional installation. ALSO, "by the way, there is an additional charge to install that feature". This had NOT been discussed during price quote/sale. I had to schedule another day off to be there for final installation. Management should have been sure order was complete before scheduling, should have provided complete price quote for all ordered features.
