I was pretty disappointed in the service I received from Cowart. The guy who came out to see what was wrong with my door was a new hire. He stayed about 15 minutes and after at first saying my clicker was bad, then responded to his helper who suggested they try the universal clicker which didn’t work. Then he said my circuit board had gone bad and I needed a new opener. And he did not have one to install so the company would get back to me about the installation. For this 15-minute very cursory visit I received a bill for $100. When I complained receptionist said well maybe it could be included in the cost of the replacement and she went to get approval on this. WHen the same guy came back two days later for the installation his instructions were wrong and he had no opener to install with him. He did not remember ever having been to my house which totally blew me away. He didn’t know the model number of the unit that would be installed (Ihad to look it up and tell him). At any rate, I had lost all confidence in this project and cancelled it at this point.

This company is awesome! They arrived on time, quickly assessed the problem, explained what was wrong and what was needed to fix the problem. They performed the work, checked everything out to make sure it was working, showed me that it was fixed. The receipt included pictures of the issue and the final results. The crew were very professional and nice. I would definitely hire them again.

I didn't actually get any service from them but when I needed them to do some immediate repair on my garage door, they were EXTREMELY quick to respond and were very communicative. My friend's husband ended up taking care of the repair but I know who I'll be calling for any kind of major garage door service next time! Just knowing how fast they responded and how willing they were to help me out when I needed it is enough for me to absolutely call them back when I will need a new garage door.

The garage door at our home (double door) broke and it was very difficult to open manually. I called Cowart Door systems after looking them up on Angie's List. They answered the phone immediately, were able to give me an appointment for the next morning, they showed up on time, and performed the repair. As of late, this is a very rare experience for me in the Austin area. The professionalism, punctuality and quality of the work is very much appreciated. I highly recommend them and they will definitely be the ones I used going forward for any of my garage door needs. Thank you.

Almost two years ago Cowart did a service on my custom installed garage doors (doors they installed originally). That technician said my springs were too heavy duty and I didn't need two on each door, so he released the tension on one spring for each door. Two days ago my door wouldn't open and the cause is the active spring broke. $125 service call from Cowart confirmed that the prior technician was wrong and one spring isn't capable of doing the job, it needs both. Now Cowart wants me to pay on top of the $125 service call to replace the broken spring, a spring that broke because of their mistake. I get that mistakes can be made but when a service company doesn't own up and fix their mistakes I look for other providers.

Repair people ran late by 2 hours, but I was informed of their schedule and asked if o.k. Repairmen were knowledgeable, competent and explained what and why along the way. They fixed problem quickly and I am very pleased with their quality of workmanship.

They were very good. They got the part quickly, and did not try to sell any unnecessary work to me. The job was done fast and efficiently.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I was not impressed with those people at all. I've since had other garage door people out and they were able to repair it so I don't recommend them at all. They did come out so they did respond.

Cowart Door Systems made temporary repairs to a badly damaged door and provided helpful advice on how to cost effectively service the door in the future. They were prompt, knowledgeable, and experienced. Work was done quickly and professionally.

Went well. Doors seem a bit better. However, they broke a light cover and were going to return with a new one, but never did. I had to call about two months later and wait another two weeks for them to respond with a replacement date.

All Garage door springs were adjusted, and electric door opener was making loud noise on opening and closing. Noise problems were resolved by Garage Door Service. Jameus and Andrew performed the work. They were polite and very clean. They explained in detail exactly what needed to be done. I highly recommend this garage door company.

The guys arrived and assessed the condition of my two garage doors. They quickly expanded the coverage of my Angie's list deal to both doors at a very reasonable additional charge. They also repaired one of the doors which had developed a crack in the metal panel. Excellent service at a very reasonable price and they worked fast.

I purchased a "deal" and was very happy with the garage door tune-up. They fixed my door for an extra charge and it's been working great. I also called Cowart in trying to replace some lost garage door remotes. They were very helpful over the phone and in their showroom. I'm remodleing my home now and will definately use them for installing a new door.

They were prompt in scheduling the estimate and then the installation. The installers showed up on time, worked efficiently in a crowded garage, fixed a couple of unanticipated problems, and made sure I knew how to open and close the doors manually before they left. They office staff was friendly and funny. Slightly higher price than the estimate I received from another company, but those people never called me back when I wanted to schedule the installation, and I'm happy to give my money to firms that actually care about customer service.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was very good. They did a real good job and they were punctual. The door is working a lot better now. I didn't pay anymore than the Big Deal.

Scheduling was easy, and service was prompt. When the tech came out, he explained exactly what was needed before making the repairs. Both garage doors are now working great. I highly recommend Cowart!

The price was great for the service. The service provided was fine for the money. We had an appointment and the guy was late. They did not call and let me know this and then he told me he went to the bank to deposit his check and he was running behind on service calls as well. He tried to sell an updated version as he said my garage door was unsafe.

Great experience. Door was loud when opened. Rollers replaced and oiled.

These guys are the ones to call. Rusty showed up on time ,did exactly what needed to be done.He was honest ,upfront and didn't try to sell me on UN-needed work. I highly recommend the fellas at cowart!!!

I was going to work and the garage door would not go up I called Cowart Doors they installed the opener about 15 years ago and they had there phone number on the button. The lady told me they could have someone come out that same day. I did the manual release pulled both cars out side so they could just lift the door by hand to look at the opener. They came out and found the motor had gone bad. they called me and I asked them to replace. they did and left both openers in side the garage. when I got home I used the front door to get in and went to the garage and pressed the button the new opener is so quite and works great.
