They did it in about 12 minutes. They did it well and inexpensively. They knew exactly what to do and did it on the spot.

I will never use them again. They said that they could fix the lock on my roll-top desk. They took the inner working out of the drawers and just left. They didn't call or anything for many months. When I finally talked to them again they informed me that they couldn't find the parts that they needed. They didn't put the hardware back on my drawers. I have a drawer full of hardware that needs to be placed back on.

I have been using Cothron's for over 30 years. They are always professional and the best price in town. I take my locks to them to get them rekeyed. I won't use anyone else!

After 6 months of numerous delays from rotten, delayed or canceled hired help on a master bath remodel, our most recent crummy tile contractor left and apparently, so did a set of our keys to our house and mail box. We asked him if he knew if any of his workers had them and he didn't know, didn't ask. Since we are still trying to get them to just come clean up their pile of trash they left on our deck I wasn't feeling very safe anymore. A search of every pocket, nook and auto cubby yielded no results and it seemed wise to invest in a quick re-key. Because of their all A rating, I left a message with Cothran's and they called back quickly dispatching a locksmith for the next morning. At the beginning of my 8-12 service window (about 8:15), I got a call they were on their way. The locksmith arrived, told me his name, which I've promptly forgot, and I showed him the 5 doors w/ 9 locks total. He'd asked if we'd discussed price, which I hadn't, and noted it might a little spendy for everything but I said it would be significantly less than a break-in. He changed all the locks, both door and mail box, in less than 2 hours and made me 3 extra house keys on request. He noted the hardware was fairly old and should probably be replaced. I totally agreed with him but didn't have the time to pick out all the new hardware with all our current remodeling activities so re-keying them would hopefully be good enough to disenchant the tile boys from an easy re-entry. Done. For the first time in months, someone actually came to our house and did a good job! Prompt, knowledgable, courteous, efficient. *Yeah!!*

The keys worked well and it was a good experience.

They are easily available and prompt. They do effective job and are reasonably priced. I will continue to use their services in future.

This was at the Burnet Road location but I suspect service is equally good at all the company locations.

Overall, it was a good experience. He worked quickly and performed the required work. The locks have worked smoothly since the repair. He was a little gruff and unpleasant at first. Later, he made a reference to his difficult day. When I inquired he described the fact that he had to "re-possess" one of his company's vans that day, which entailed locating it and making several trips to open the van since they have special locks. It did sound like a rough day.

They showed up as promised and got the work done in a reasonable amount of time.

there were a couple big errors in what was clearly agreed to in terms of getting the keys delivered back to their home office. they eventually got someone to step up and make it right.

It was a mobile that came to my door. They came out at four o'clock today. They came out an hour later than they said they would, but I guess they were busy. They were friendly, professional, and knew what they were doing. They took care of the work in 10 minutes. They were also reasonably priced.

Key would not clone so I cannot really give an assessment beyond that point.

My key wasn't matching with the rest of the house keys, so I had to have it redone. I made a call to him to ask about that. He asked me to bring it. He hasn't done any work for me yet. I also had an issue with the main access point to the house. It was really hard to put the key in and pull it out. He was really helpful. He tried to put a silicon-based oil or something to help me out. It worked perfectly. I will be contacting him again.

They are professional and know their stuff. I spent $400 to $500 on that work.

They did an excellent job. All of the keys work. It only took him about 20 minutes to do all 4 of the locks. He was efficient and worked quickly. We are very happy to have worked with them. He called ahead of time and showed up right on time. They charge a $60.00 service charge, and then $15.00 per key hole. You can feel confident working with them, I have been using them for years. The owner is 84 years old and still goes around and checks to make sure everything is done to his satisfaction. You never have to worry about being cheated. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
