Description of Work: I hired Cold is on the Right for a kitchen remodel. I pulled a permit for this job and was the GC. My house was built in the '40s, and as a result, there were problems and glitches with the project (old gas lines, for example). But in the end I was happy with my decision to use Cold is on the Right. The quote Bren put together for the remodel was reasonable and competitive with other bids I had received. The work was good (I tend to be demanding, having worked in construction, and this was my kitchen, after all). Bren's crew was professional, courteous, and punctual, and I trusted them to be in my house while I was at work. Bren agreed to provide new gas lines at no cost to me after we could not find a leak, which led to delays in the job. This is good business on Bren's part, and I was very pleased with his willingness to do this. Bren also installed my gas range, dishwasher, sink faucet, and disposer. He worked to get every detail just right. He knows that details are important in a new kitchen. Finally, Kerri, who handles phone calls, was very kind and helpful throughout the project.

Description of Work: The service team (Billy and Nathan) arrived within the first 30 minutes of the service appointment. They explained what they would do and gave a verbal estimate before beginning work. They accomplished three small repairs within one hour and cleaned the work area before they left. I was very satisfied.

Description of Work: Cleaned clogged shower drain and installed new hot water heater and with that also got permit from city of Austin. Installation was a breeze - even on a rainy day got the old hot water heater out and new one installed without any mess! Getting the city permit can be a challenge and the wait very lengthy- they went above and beyond what I paid for this service as it ended up taking them more than one visit and several hours to obtain the permit. One minor adjustment was needed after inspection and they came out quickly to correct problem. I will use them again and recommend this company to friends and coworkers.

Description of Work: Super professional and knowledgeable!! Showed up on time, even had a cup of coffee for me and a pastry!!! Never had a service guy do that before, I knew it was gonna be a good experience! Looked at our problem with our kitchen faucet, presnted some solutions, along with some other minor things we didn't even see! Replaced our faucet and water shutoffs for the exact price he gave! I will definitely be calling Brendin out for any of our plumbing woes!

+ -1 moreFantastic work. Extremely knowledgeable and proficient. The house was built in 1950 and other renovations were being done while they were trying to work. Even so, the work was completed before the date promised. Brendin, the owner, even fixed some other plumbing issues that came up at no additional charge. The estimate I was given (before any work was started) was the amount I paid. I had other estimates before choosing Cold is on the Right. They were not the least expensive bid, however they were highly recommended to me. Quality of work, honesty and professionalism were taken into consideration when reviewing the cost. It was great work from start to finish and I will definitely use them for future projects.
