Could not have been better! I plan to call him back to replace my kitchen light fixtures after I buy them.

The electrician called ahead and then showed up at the early end of the time window. The work was completed quickly and professionally. A couple of questions were fully answered to my satisfaction. I'd definitely hire again.

Went well and fast. Service person was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. Excellent. The only money paid, was to Angie's List, for service.

Responsive, no-hassle, accommodated my special requests and good service! I will definitely use again.

I was able to get an appointment fairly soon.

At first I contacted the provider online and set up several dates per their web page instructions but no one contacted me. I then called and set a date with the person who answered but no one ever came to my house on the day set for the appointment. I have called them twice since and leave a message but have never received a reply. I paid for a special through Angie's list but have not received any service or return calls at all.

This was a big deal purchase. I was charged more than the price of the big deal. Because it was in the attic it automatically added $100. That's what they told me. They did a good job and were on time.

3 electrical outlets were getting warm and melting electrical plugs due to loose sockets. Electrician and his apprentice changed out the outlets and checked other outlets around the house. Also gave a free estimate to upgrade the electrical panel (200 amp, new conduit, etc) which was appreciated, but since shopping around, I have found the work available at nearly half the estimate price from multiple companies. Work was high quality, on time and meticulous, and I would hire them again after making sure their fees were in line with other companies.

It was not easy to get in touch with the company. the electrician showed up a day late, but the quality of work was very good.

In a word: awesome. The guys worked their butts off to get the job done in one day. They started on time and took care of all the permitting / code issues with the city. Their work looks nice and the job site was cleaned up beautifully. Most importantly, I felt confident that they were doing work the right way. We had other electricians out to estimate the job and they missed important details in their estimate. Clements took the time to inspect the entire job site and talk through exactly what we needed and wanted. I'd definitely call them for our next job.

The contractor's electrician took one look at the panel and said everything was "five star" and great. That took about five minutes. he then told me that he was "finished" with the whole house electrical inspection. I pressed him and described the electrical problems we were having after a recent lightning strike. GFCI outlets would trip based on very light loads (one or two 60-watt bulbs), all of the outside GFI outlets would trigger with the slightest load, broadband over power lines equipment wouldn't work, etc. He said that everything was fine -- and actually "five star work" -- based on simply a visual inspection of the breaker box and components for five minutes. I described the electrical problems that we were having and told him that they started with the lightning strike. He said it was all normal behavior and basically brushed it all off. Contractor told me that lightning strikes don't damage wires and breakers -- they only damage appliances. He said people worry about lightning strikes because they are dramatic, but they are really no big deal for electrical systems. When I pressed him further, the contractor did check voltages in a few outlets. When they weren't tripped, the voltages were ok. He said that meant there was no problem. I reminded him that the excessive tripping was the problem, but he said there is nothing that can be done about that. Then he up-sold me on installing a whole-house surge protector. Which was another couple hundred bucks. I assume that works -- no idea really. We just lived with the problems until I found finally got frustrated and decided to do my own research. As it turns out, the five minute inspection of the breaker box was really insufficient to diagnose the problem. Here's what I learned from my own research. I'm not an electrical engineer, but this is what I found so far. I'm going to hire another professional to have them re-do the inspection and check this out. What I learned later: 1) Every time a breaker or GFCI trips, its tolerance becomes a bit lower. The more times they trip, the more likely they are to trip. After too much of this type of behavior, they need to be replaced. Even if they were "five star" components ten years ago. 2) Lightning strikes CAN damage electrical systems. They can damage breakers, affect wiring, and even melt components in the system. Other professional recommended replacing ALL breakers and GFCI outlets after a lightning strike. That may not solve 100% of the problems, but it's a good start. Bottom line: I paid $100 for the "whole house inspection" that was really a "look at your breaker box and check a few random voltages" inspection. I got up-sold, which is sort of beside the point. And the advice I got from the busy, rushed contractor was later contradicted in a big way by another professional.

It was easy to schedule an appointment, and the electrician was on time. He replaced a non-working outlet with a GFI outlet.

I spoke with Michael C. He walked me through what to do in order to get my circuits to start working again. He asked me questions and told me what to do. He was wonderful! It was like he fixed it for me, but over the phone! How could you ask for anything better?!

Both plugs were installed. Once worked well but the other continued to trip the GFI. When I contacted the electrician, he said he would have someone call back and schedule a time to fix. I never heard back and ended up just replacing the outlet myself.

They were terrific. Very fast and it looks and works great. I will be using them for any future electrical work.

Never again. Clements Electric was awful. We purchased a special through Angie's list and felt like we were severely taken. Of course, the deal wouldn't work for our house and instead of less than $1k would cost over $4k. They told us that they had to do some outlets inside as well as the electrical panel outside then they didn't include the inside work in the project. Then someone at the home office had personal problems and couldn't get the permit pulled so they couldn't do the work for over a week after they said they would. Then they needed another $1,000 down even though we'd already paid $899 through Angie's list. Then they wanted to be paid before the work was completed. Then they didn't leave a copy of the permit that supposedly held everything up for a week and now they won't give me a copy of the permit. The permit that we paid $450 to get. I don't believe that they ever got the permit in the first place. They way overcharged us for the work that they did and we were trapped by the no cash refund Angie's List deal. No more Angie's "deals" for us, what a rip-off. Lesson learned.

Great work installing light fixtures however was not punctual.

They fixed a light switch on the wall of my bedroom that had burned out.

It went fine. He was very polite, very professional and competent.

It went okay. They did fine. It was expensive but they did fine. It took them less than an hour. They were prompt. They could have came prepared. I specified what I needed and they didn't bring it like they were suppose to so they had to go get it and that took away some of the time.

It was okay. My interpretation was it was much higher than what they performed. They just came in and look at the loose connection and they checked the GFI just from the outside and they did not check the inside connection then they left. Even though I heard that they do go and beyond but what they did was looked at the loose connection and I think the coupon was not worth it. I did see some things that did not really benefit me. The question really is ?did the company did what they said will be done?? I expected them to be a little more concerned about the problem and look at it. I was not satisfied with the way they just look at the loose connection.

I paid for a coupon but he told me a waste of the coupon since it was cheaper to pay for the installation. He recommended that I use the coupon later for something bigger. He was out when he said he would and did what he said he would. The product lived up to it's expectation. They found the screwing receptacles at a cheaper price and I felt like they didn't offer the best price.

Wow, I now have cold water in my kitchen sink again. They were wonderful! Very professional and prompt. They wasted no time getting the job done in one day. I greatly appreciate they timeliness!

Good communication. Punctual except when severe storms slowed everyone down. Honest evaluation of the wiring needed for the smoke alarms. Easy to work with and even greeted my dog!
