Description of Work: Experience was excellent. I just need to upgrade far more than expected and will wait to do that until I do a larger remodel. I will use Clements in the future. Tom was great.

Description of Work: I purchased the deal with Clements Electric because I have a remote ceiling fan that has stopped working. He wasn't able to fix it as he said I need to track down the brand and purchase a new remote. The ceiling fan is 16 years old so I have not been able to purchase the remote I need. I also talked to him about fixing my doorbell, but again that requires my purchasing a new one and rescheduling him to come back over. He did call the other day to see if I still needed him to come install the items but I have not rescheduled as of yet. One thing I was able to purchase from him was a surge protector which he did install at that time. So although he wasn't able to help me at the time with the items I was calling him for, he did help me with something my home needed. I guess I didn't really need an electrician as much as a handyman but I didn't realize that when I booked him.

Description of Work: Followup after first bid was so poor and lacking that I gave up.

Description of Work: Told me what to buy without checking. Told me if he checked it would use up the entire groupon. Also explained it would cost 200.00 extra if he had to go up into the attic. Said I got the wrong thing but it did work. I paid 99.00 and got that in service but it was just to hard. Hate to knock the company because it was just this guy. He let an apprentice do all the work as the problem was simple after he took 2 minutes to check. Something I thought he should have done at onset. Groupons seem not worth it and will not use them in the future.

Description of Work: The rep arrived to evaluate my request. He promoted installation of LED lights replacing my existing. I agreed until he forwarded his cost proposal of more than $700. My initial request was for installation of two pot lights. I politely declined his proposal. I now propose awarding Clements 1/2 of my $99 cost as compensation for his evaluation visit, and refunding the other 1/2. I have no complaint with Clements Electric.

Description of Work: I needed someone to do a minor repair on our pool light wiring, where a tree root has pushed a buried wiring conduit up above ground level. The scheduler confirmed they could do that kind of work and set the appointment. When the electrician showed up and looked at it he said they cannot. He said the only thing he could do would be to dig up the whole yard and run brand new wiring for about $2000 which we are not interested in doing.

Description of Work: Install Led Can lights, and Led dimmer switches, replace ballast on florescent lights in garage. Change out some halogen for led small light bulbs.

Description of Work: We had problems with the surge protectors in our home. The problem surge protectors were each checked and it was explained to us what was causing the problem. We had an all home surge protector put on the outside of our home, and we have not had any problems since. It was a very pleasant experience and I would not hesitate to use them again for other electrical problems that might occur. |
