Clements Electric is not paid directly by homeowners for any product purchased from angies list, Angie's list takes all payments and handles all refunds. So yes infect your Credit card statement should reflect a purchase from angie's list, Furthermore Clements Electric Does not reuse Surge protectors. The "decoy" box you are claiming you got, Is not a Decoy it is in fact the box of which your Surge protector came in. The box is given to our Home owners after the install of the unit because it has the warranty packet inside of the box. To verify that the box is installed into your panel you would have to know where to look, If your panel is located in the home or in the garage you would in fact have to remove the face of the panel to uncover the whole panel and to locate the surge protector, just opening the panel door to reveal the breakers is not going to allow you to see the surge protector. In regards to the email you received that was explicit in nature, we have taken steps to remove our email from a public setting and bring our email to a safer private in house self managed email server to avoid that such hacking from happening again. Clements Electric would never at any purposefully at any point send any explicit email to anyone. We are deeply apologetic that the email was sent and as mentioned above have take steps to prevent it from happening again. With the information I have provided Clements Electric does not wish to refund your money until Clements Electric Comes out and educates you on exactly where and how your NEW surge protector can be located after that time if a surge protector can not be located we will then have no problem installing one that you may so watch the installation of to prove to you, you have one and that it came from a NEW non-Decoy box of your Suiting.

Description of Work: Made the first appt and let them know that I would be available after 3:15PM that following Monday. The technician called at 1:34pm and left a voice message. I called him back and he got snippy. Telling me I needed to be available within 1hr of his call as he was in the area. I was not happy. I rescheduled for a Monday 2 weeks past the original date. Right at 3pm (while driving home for 3:15pm) same technician called and stated he couldn't make that day but the next same time. I wasn't happy but said OK. He showed the next day and I explained some of my recent electrical issues. He looked at the outside sub-panel and the main breaker box in the garage only. I wanted the outside outlet installed so I asked him how much, his response was $149, so I asked what I the lowest. He said $100 I forgot that you already purchased a the checkup so discount of any work. That disturbed me because if I didn't ask I'd be out of $49. Installed an outside power outlet looks alright.

Description of Work: I thought I was going to get a repair done, but they said they charge $99 for each repair, which was simple rewiring 2 switches. So I paid |$50 more than the original $49 thru Angies. It would have been another $99 to do the second switch. So I skipped it. |Not satisfied with the cost.
