The work performed was performed well. I also had asked for a clogged drain to be cleared; however, the plumber who arrived said that requires a drain technician. He didn't apologize other than to say that the dispatch people make mistakes. The plumber who arrived was not particularly friendly, but he was civil and got the work done.

They did a very good job. Very punctual!

I like the fact that I received a price before the work started. The guys came when they said they would and got the work completed fairly quickly. The quality of their work was also very good and I would recommend them to others.

Well I am glad I didn't hire this company to do the work. He said I had a slab leak when all it was a nail had gone through a floor board. I am really not too sure of what he was going to charge me. He was however prompt and friendly.

I needed a new water heater so I went out and bought a new one and had them install it for me. I made an appointment and they were here the next day. I took them six hours and I was very pleased with the job done.

He was very efficient and he explained that the city had to repair a cut out that another plumber had messed up. After the city comes I am going to hire him to do some more work for me. He is very reliable and I am happy with him so far. He knew what he was doing and he seems to be very honest to me. He came with in a couple of hours after I called, so he was very responsive.

It was Friday afternoon and while I was washing dishes, water began pouring out of the cabinet underneath the kitchen sink. Great..... I called a plumber who was recommended to me by a friend and the earliest they could come out was Monday. So, I checked Angie's List and found this plumbing company. Within two hours Woody arrived, fixed the problem, checked for leaks, cleaned up his mess and was off to the next job. Woody is very professional, competent and pleasant. I will call Clarke Kent again, and I will request Woody.

The man was nice but he just didn't fix the problem.

Called early in the morning, was assured they could come out that day to check my mother's water heater (water still only warm after turning up temperature dial). Gave us a window of "after 1pm. My husband and I live and work out of town so they told us they would call us 30-45 minutes before the plumber arrived at my mom's so one of us could leave work and meet him. They called, so my husband drove in and waited. And waited. Finally they called and told him they had an emergency and the guy would be out as soon as he was finished. This was at 1:30 and he did not arrive until my husband gave up and was leaving at 6pm. Anyway, he looked at it, dialed it up past "Hot", said that you had to do that on this model of WH. Water is now hot. There was no charge. He apologized for being so late. Also gave us an estimate of 800-900 to replace water heater (thought that was a bit steep, but maybe it's the norm).

Ultimately the job was completed and we are happy with the results. During the process it took longer than expected because of the nature of the work. I did have Gary come out and inspect the completed job because the finish work on the exterior of the house and pump were unsightly and not workable over the long term. The work was completed as we expected after Gary's review.

Marcel was punctual and extremely competent, ran down a whole list of repairs we had been saving for awhile. Even though the bill ended up being somewhat higher than we had hoped (I guess that's to be expected), we were very pleased to have our tattered plumbing systems back in top shape after the visit. The work took almost three hours (we had let too many things run down for awhile).

The plumber named Rusty that came out diagnosed the problem immediately and was reassuring there was not a larger issue; he was prompt, friendly, and seemed very knowledgeable with plumbing. I was a little reluctant at first to call this particular company because their prices seemed a little higher than some of the other plumbers according to the feedback on this website; however, it was a small price to pay for the quick diagnosis given the stressful situation!I'd use them again in a minute.

At first I wanted a sewer and gas line. That proved too expensive and a lot of unknowns and uncertainties. After several bids and discussions, settled on just the sewer line. Once the bid was accepted, work proceeded quickly and with no problems. Technicians were friendly and knew their work. A good experience for me.

Just fine. He was very professional, thoughtful and a good communicator. He was also very sensitive about keeping the house clean (laying a carpet mat down to keep from getting my floors dirty, taking his shoes off so as not to bring mud in from the rainy day).

They tested this and that and ended up putting in a valve for $700 that was not needed at all and did not even relate to the problem. They were on time and courteous, my only complaint is that they installed something that I did not need and was way too expensive.

The response time and the service were fantastic, but price was a little bit steep.

Plumber arrived promptly and quickly found septic clean out. He cleaned out sewer line and inside tub drain. He was polite and neat. His name was Luis. Good job. All drains and toilets working well, if problems return he recommended running a camera through the line.

Work was done in a fast, efficient manner. Rusty was my assigned plumbing professional, and he was very straightforward and honest. He replaced our kitchen faucet VERY quickly. He did have to go to the supply store for a non-standard part for the toilet. In total the work took 2.5 hours and cost $240. I'd say 25 minutes on the faucet and 2 hours on the toilet including trip to store. The one issue I had, as it often is with larger contractors, was dispatch. I called them at 8:30am on Monday morn and asked if they could come that day. They said they would "put it on the board" and it would likely be that day, possibly Tuesday, and they would call 30 mins ahead of time. They had not called by 5 Monday, so I called their office and at 5:03 went through to their answering service. Tuesday morning at 8:13 they called and said a tech would be out in 30 minutes, but the truck did not arrive until after 9am. This level of expectation-setting is still above average for the industry though!

The technician showed up, took his time analyzing the situation, and then went to his truck. He took a while and then started to work on the problem. This job should have taken 10-15 minutes the most. He had parked his car in our driveway. My wife had to go somewhere, so I asked him to move his car so she can take her car out of the garage. Another 10 minutes just moving his car! Anything he could do to waste time he did. He finished and said I will go write this up and be back. Another 20 minutes in his truck writing a bill. He came back. $195!!! I said you must be kidding. He said no sir, It has been an hour and that was not true. SO I said let me talk to the office. He said no, let me go out and fix the bill. Came back, $125. I paid him BUT WILL NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. Parts, $28. The material used costs less than $5.

They were able to do the repair on the same day I called which was good as it was a Friday and hot water was pouring out of the overflow drain. I added the pipe repair which was completed and had paid the hefty bill: $40 service call, $14.50 shop fee BEFORE the clock starts ticking and then a whopping $92/hour--the highest I've ever paid. Anyway I told the plumber that I wanted to check to see if all was OK with the hose bib after I'd turned the water back on. I found that he had turned the pipe around (the break was up 10 ft.) so that I could no longer easily access the handle. I had him resolder the pipe so that I could use it, which he did with no problem.

I called late one afternoon and they were able to get out the next day to fix the leak. When they arrived, they thought they would have to cut down a number of shrubs and that the cost would be 700 to 1000 dollars. They were able to fix the leak without much damage to the shrubs and the cost was lower.

I live out of town and the service work was on my son's house in Austin. They came out the day after I called and gave an estimate and called me when they were finished. Later that day, a lady from the company called and confirmed the estimate. Very good communication, would use again for sure. Five stars.

Found the plumber on Angie's List with excellent ratings. Called on a Saturday morning and was advised a plumber would be at our house in about an hour. He was there timely and quickly diagnosed the problem as being in the ground about 10" in front of our slab. It was a muddy mess, but he very professionally pressed on and fixed the line in a couple of hours. He allowed me to watch him and assist him which I thought reduced his total time.

They were great! I had previously hired a company that did not complete the work correctly so they were having to fix their mess. They diagnosed the issue right away and ran an auger to the street. Once the clog was clear they ran water from several faucets for 20 minutes to make sure the job was done correctly.

Well he gave me a quote and stuck to it.
