Description of Work: They ran a camera in the sewer line and made a dvd. The camera was moved so fast that the images were of water turbulence. They came back and redid the process at no cost and gave an estimate to fix sewer the problem. However,the problem they were going to fix was not the problem with the sewer. If I had used them, the house slab would have been cut and chipped needlessly. I"m glad I got a second opinion.

Description of Work: The plumber used a 3/8" snake to unclog the bathtub drain. This is an old house with cast iron plumbing, which made it difficult to get the snake down to the trap where the pipe was clogged. However, he kept at it until he succeeded. I assume that this repair would have been less expensive had the trap been easier to reach. It took about an hour to get it done.

Description of Work: Preparing to sell the house, we were checking out for unknown problems. After having foundation work, tests determined there was a leak somewhere in the system. We hired Clarke Kent to find out where(used specific area pressure tests to pinpoint origin of problem, then began resolving problems working from the inner end of the system in the house). Several leaks were found, each had to be fixed then tested for resolution of leak, then test again just up the line from that, resolved and retested until all leaks resolved. The leaks happened because of ground movement due to drought conditions. While it is very intrusive to have anyone breaking into your foundation (required to go through floors in several rooms, sigh), I have to say the Clarke Kent guys were as considerate of us as they could be, and tried to minimize dust spreading over the room being worked on(2 closets and the master bedroom). The experienced guy (Robert?) who did the testing, and the younger man who did the hard physical work were both very pleasant and professional. Robbie (younger guy) was especially wonderful considering the circumstances he was working in and doing it all on his own(lot of jackhammering in small spaces). They did a great job, felt safe and comfortable with them in my home, whether I was there or not. They were patient and attentive in dealing with our pets( i.e. not letting 'em out by accident, and accepting them barking every time they came in.)

Description of Work: Our Bosch tankless water heater quit functioning. I called Clark Kent on a Weds AM. Two hours later, a technician arrived. He solved the problem by turning the heater off and on again. Because the fix was so simple he didn't charge for the call. I couldn't ask for more!!!

Description of Work: Called them to repair a slow drain and give a quote on installing an exhaust fan. They showed up, had no record of what they were there to do, cleaned the drain with a bent close hanger, said they would call back with an estimate on the fan - never heard from them again

Description of Work: Removed and replaced a leaking water heater. The installer put much more into the installation than the previous person as he worked many more hours to make sure it was done properly and within the codes. Certainly trust his judgement. He also had removed and replaced a cracked toilet in the guest bathroom. Again there were no problems.
