They owner came and gave us an estimate and gave us very helpful information. They came back as scheduled and they were on time and they did the work exactly as described. We are very happy with the work they did. They left our trees looking much better then than did for.

They prompt and clean. They were quick and it was done safely. Everything was great. Their price was good and they were in and out on time. I would use them again if I need tree service.

They did great. We had a soft ball game that afternoon, but they showed up exactly when they were supposed to. They started the work and when we got back, which was a couple of hours later they were totally done. They cleaned up very well. The only reason we knew that they were there was because they were there when we came back and because the trees looked better. The price we paid was $800 or $900 and we thought that it was ridiculously expensive. We used them again because we had the trunks of two trees entangled and we wanted one of them taken out. They trimmed that tree, but did not take that one down that we wanted to have taken down. We called them back and literally within 24 hours, somebody came over. They let themselves in the back yard and did what they needed to do and did not even bother us. They did a really nice job cleaning up.

I usually use their services every year, but I didn?t use them last year. They are great. There?s a one time price that I pay. I have a lot of trees in my yard and I have them cut 2 or 3 trees at a time. I didn?t use them last year since I got all the trees cut by then. I spend about $500 for just cutting and I feel that?s pricey. Jim Seng is the man who owns the company. He is fantastic. He is very knowledgeable. The only drawback would depend on what you want. He has great people and he oversees them. I have had people come out to give me a quote and tell me things, but they are not there when the guys cut the trees. Jim Seng is always here when his guys do the job and he has excellent people. They are good and you get what you pay for. They are arborists. The price is good I guess, but I wouldn?t be able to comment on it much. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

They were very good. They were prompt in showing up. They also had very reasonable prices. They got right back to me, as far as phone calls go. The guy who came out was very knowledgeable. He has been in the business for many years.

Everything went great. He is an exceptionally honest and knowledgeable tradesman.

We had a few large branches break off a large Bradford Pear tree in our front yard and requested a quote to remove the tree, including stump grinding; and to prune all the trees in our yard. Besides taking down the Bradford Pear, we had another extremely large Bradford Pear and 6 more various Oak trees than needed quite a bit of pruning. Jim contacted us the next day and we arranged for a visit for a couple days later to give us a quote. Jim arrived as scheduled for the quote. He reviewed the process and the different types of pruning they do on the trees. He did not try to over sell the amount of pruning needed. We discussed each tree and he is very aware of trying to keep the overall natural shape of the trees. We scheduled a day for the pruning to occur and they showed up as scheduled. Jim was here working with his team of two other workers. They spent the entire day here and were absolutely excellent to work with. They had come out several days earlier (as arranged) to take the Bradford Pear tree down. They did the stump removal on the day of the general pruning. They use a chipper for all the removed branches. They clean up everything and the yard was cleaner after they left than when they arrived. The also did some minor pruning to a couple other trees around the yard that were not included in the original quote. The trees look great. We can only give the absolute highest rating for Jim and his services!

I enjoyed working with Jim and his crew. When they arrived on time, Jim reviewed his proposal and made sure that I agreed to everything he suggested. He offered to do less work if we needed to save money, but we decided to go ahead and have everything completed. Jim was a great listener and made sure that I was satisfied with the work his company completed. A few times during the process, I went outside to watch (it's interesting) and Jim made sure to ask me how everything looked and if I had any questions or comments. I only had to ask 1 question - they left a small dead limb on one tree and I asked if they could cut it down. Jim quickly handled it without question and told me it was no problem at all. We got everything we asked for and were very happy with the service provided by KS Green & Co. Jim's quote was the best of all that we were given, and he spent a lot of time explaining our options and answering questions. He has a very informative quote form that explains everything on the back - it was very helpful to refer to when discussing our options and helped us make our decision to hire Jim.

Jim and crew arrived as scheduled and completed the tasks we discussed. All debris was removed.... We were not at home at the time, but everything was completed exactly as promised. Jim will be back in a few weeks to "crown" some of our oak trees after they have had time to respond to the feeding suggested by him. His advice and counsel will not only improve the health of our trees, but will save us considerable money as well. We have had Jim's Company provide tree services in the past and they have always performed above and beyond our expectations. It is very obvious that he cares deeply about preserving the health of our trees, but the value they add to our landscape as well.

The company did a great job from start to finish. The only hitch came when they couldn't come out on the day originally scheduled due to some of the employees being sick. However, they called to let us know and promptly rescheduled and got the job done. They pruned the trees nicely, and did a good job of cleaning up. Other than a couple of very small branches that got missed, you'd never know someone had been working in our yard (unless you noticed the fresh cuts in the trees.)

Everything went just fine, gave good tips and pointers. Based on conversation was accustomed to larger commercial type projects. His professionalism and credentials came with a price. The quote was out of line with what I expected to spend. I'm sure he would have done an excellent job, but I just couldn't afford to go with him.

Their service was excellent, from providing a detailed quote (including the 10% off for Angie's List members), to performing the actual work. I highly recommend them and will use them again when needed!

We contact this company for an estimate on a huge oak tree and several smaller trees in your yard. The arborist was great and gave us a lot of valuable information about the care of our trees. We set a date for the service but had to postpone due to weather conditions. They came the following day as planned and did a great job. Very kind and professional and cleaned everything up before they left. I highly recommend this company.

KS Green & Co. far exceeded my expectations in quality of work and price. They did exactly what we discussed in the quoting processes and left the area clean of debris. They were on time and worked efficiently. I limited the work request in order to check out their quality. I will have them back soon to do the rest of my trees and shrubs.

KS did a great job, sealed all the cuts, and removed all cut limbs. The price was excellent. I recommend them highly!

Two of these trees were quite large and they did an excellent job. Their clean up and removal was excellent as well. They came in on time and on budget and did everything I asked of them. They were prompt particularily after another tree company failed to show three straight times.

Jim trimmed branches off of about 6 trees that were touching the house or roof of our 2 story home, and also removed lower branches of 3 trees in our yard that hung over the driveway or were too low to walk under. The crew chopped up the branches and cleaned up the yards before leaving.

They initially told me that it would take at least half a day for them to complete the work, but they actually finished in less than an hour. There were 2 people who came and did the job. Their pricing was a bit high. They showed up on time, and did a good job.

Jim Seng is very knowledgeable. Work was done as priced and on the agreed upon date. Very happy and would recommend. Trees look great and the removal of trees and dead wood opened up the yard to more light.

I called K&S, told them I found them on Angie's list, and asked if they were interested in the work. Jim said yes and came over the next day to look at the tree and called me with a quote. We agreed on the work, price and timing and I told him to go ahead. To my pleasure they called a few days before to confirm the date and then the day before to reconfirm and to make sure no cars were parked under the tree (it hung over my neighbor's driveway). When I got home from work the tree and stumps were gone and the yard had been cleaned up and mulch raked over the holes left by the stumps. Awesome job!

When I used this company they were supposed to cut trees that were hanging on both my property and my neighbors and we split the price with no trouble. I looked at some other companies and this one had the most reasonable prices. The work done was quality and looks good. This company is very accommodating and even blew out some of my gutters after the branches were trimmed. I will definitely use this company again in the future.

Large crew showed up with the owner who supervised the cutting. Crew was very careful to put covers over just about all of our new landscape plants. When they were done they chipped everything onsite, swept the area and cleaned up.

They did a excellent job. They arrived on time and completed on time. They cleaned up after they were done. I am very pleased with the work they did.

Jim Seng & I mis-communicated about the amount of work we wanted done, & he took full responsibility and did the job for less money! I've never known a contractor to be so gracious! We wanted a crown cleaning & the canopy lifted on all 4 trees. He quoted us for just lifting the canopy, however we couldn't tell that was what his quote was for, because we didn't know ANYTHING about tree trimming! When we called to ask him why his price was 1/3 the other quotes, they do the job for less. But when he arrived at our house again to do the work, we realized immediately we had mis-communicated about the amount of work we wanted done. Jim was more than honorable about the situation, he lifted the canopy that day, & returned another 2 days to clean the crowns. We got the entire job done for about half of the other quotes, & were happy with the work they did. We should have paid another $250 for the entire job, but Jim felt bad about the miscommunication & did some of the work for free.
