We are very pleased with Barlett Tree Service. We have multiple Live Oak trees and one was starting to show some stress because of drought and deficient nutrients in the soil. Kevin spent time with me discussing our concerns and recommending multiple strategies to address them. His recommendations have made a big difference and we are so relieved to see this tree showing signs of recovery. We have used Bartlett Tree experts on multiple projects and Kevin has been wonderful to work with. We can clearly see the benefits of what he recommended and what his teams have provided. So pleased!

They are experts and has a strong customer service focus.

Excellent. No cost for ~1 hour evaluation. Provided recommendations for specific trees to keep on property for increased property value, along with recommendations for trimming trees later to accommodate planned roof line. Also, gave advice on root systems, damage caused by equipment compacting the soil, and how far foundation should be from the trees.

The trees were pruned and removed. Cleanup was very good. Arborist provided good advice on care of young trees. Great regard was shown for neighbors. The Bartlett people were very patient in explaining everything to concerned neighbors

An arborist from Bartlett came out to assess a sickly-looking tree in my back yard. He informed me that the tree was dead due to wood boring insects, and he gave me a quote for removing the tree and performing a few other tree services on my property. The arborist was very nice and knowledgeable, and I appreciate his help in diagnosing my tree. The quote for the tree services, however, was pretty high, so I ended up selecting another company to do the work.

Work completed as promised, in a timely manner without damage to yard or property.

Matthew's visit was great. He was early and professional. Super nice young man. It was a pleasure to do business with someone so professional and prompt.

Our 20 year old magnolia was loosing too many leaves and was looking sickly. We set up an appointment and Matt was on time. He explained to us what needed to be done. We got a quote the next week. The technician came again the following week and performed the services contracted for. This was 6 weeks ago and our trees look amazing. Even our neighbors are asking us what we did. I would highly recommend them.

They cleaned up a very large oak tree that had been pruned incorrectly for several years and was not growing in the shape it should. They were professional and did a great job. Good to work with.

The technician was very knowledgeable and offered some free advice about the trees, as well as providing an in-depth estimate for the work we wanted done. When we have the money, we will use this provider.

This was a rush request due to high winds on 4-8-14. A large branch had come down on our neighbors driveway and car at about 3:30 PM. Matthew seemed to appreciate our sense of urgency and came to our home within an hour of my phone call. While he was there he phoned one of his crew and even though they had gone home about 4:30 PM, the crew came together and arrived about 5:30 and removed the branch and took away the debris. They cleaned up the neighbor's driveway and were finished by 6:15. Based on the late hour and the urgency of the situation, we were very pleased with the entire process.

They did a real good job. They did what they said they were going to do, and they were pretty responsive. Their price was within the original estimates.

They know their business and they are humble, gracious and extremely respectful of their clientele. They have saved my trees from death, and keeping our yard beautiful with the shade of healthy trees. They were asking too much, so, we have not used them. He was extremely professional and thorough. They turned around the quote very quickly.

Okay, I've used Bartlett Tree Experts before. In fact, before I bought this house those are people that I called out as expert because I have a small house that it has 15 live oak trees that are really big and I called them out ahead of time to say because I think it’s part of the property value and I had a very pleasant experience and then several years ago after buying the house I had them come out and do some trimming which was good. It’s kinda costly but when I have them come back out this time their bid was actually lower than the other two people and I did have them do the trimming. I think they know their business and they give you reasonable value. If trees are significant part of the deal versus just a tree thing if you want an arborist then I have no qualm about recommending Barlett's. I don't work for him. I experience this repeatedly and I'm telling the truth.

I hired them after reading their reviews on Angie's List. The representative who I dealt with initially was really easy to work with and had great customer service. Everything she said they would do, they did. The cost was more than realistic for the work that they did. They cleaned everything up very well. They did an excellent job with the work and I was very pleased with the company. I would absolutely recommend them and would use them again.

They are a good company. The owner even came out to speak to our garden club. They are competitive in price and were very professional. They arrived on time and cleaned up well after the job was complete. We were pleased with their service.

I have used their services about six times over the course of four years. The work was great. They are an ethical and top of the line company. They do the work that they say they are going to do and they usually do more.

We have just used their services once and had the evaluation. They were punctual and arrived on time. We had Mr. Kinslow, their arborist, come out and he was very professional.

When Bartlett's makes an appointment to meet with you, they will be there and on time. The aborists are polite, professional and explain what they see happening in detail. The estimate was broken down by individual project so I could accept all or part of the work recommended. When they did work for me previously, they did everything I asked for and more. They were very thorough in the clean up after they trimmed the trees. Previously they save a dying oak by fertilizing, trimming and increasing the amount of water to the tree. I can't thank them enough.

They gave a very good price, & were very flexible with additional limbs we needed removed. They also removed a great deal of debris and several stumps that we had pulled. we would highly recommend.

Was not at home when completed, and was delayed by weather, so the only way I remembered the service was when there was no longer any "aphid residue" all over my cars. Nick was very responsive and knew what the issue was, and even said should only need one spraying since so late in the season. Was impressed with honest assesment and no try to up-sell.

I have used Bartlett in the past with success but this last time did not go well. They were hired to trim dead branches from some Oak trees. I also asked if they could reduce the height of a tree blocking one of my windows. I asked them to call me before they arrive so I can be at the house to show the workers what to do. I took the day off work to be sure to be home for the scheduled work. But on the afternoon on the date they were to arrive, I called to check their status since I hadn't heard from them, and they informed me they were running late and couldn't make it, so we rescheduled for the next week. On the morning of the new scheduled day, I met with the arborist and reviewed the work to be done. He mentioned some trees were to be "topped" and I immediately said NO don't do this. I reiterated to call me before the workers arrive so I can come home from work to show them exactly what to do. He said it would be no problem and jotted down the note. Later in the day I got a phone call from the arborist that the workers had shown up to the house and started working without either myself or the arborist there! I frantically rushed home to try and stop them, but unfortunately the damage was already done -- they had cut the wrong trees. I have no idea how they decided which trees to cut (their "victims"), nobody was there to show them what to do, so they must have guessed at random and started cutting. It is absurd to think how easily they are willing to permanently destroy old trees that took many years to mature and grow into what they are. And they ruined them in mere minutes. Now I have damaged trees that look absolutely ridiculous (if you are not familiar with this practice, look up topping on google... it should be illegal to do that to a perfectly healthy tree)! It is Bartlett's mismanagement of the crew that caused this mess, but unfortunately it is me as homeowner who has to deal with the ramifications for the next 10-20 years. I would never hire them again... They can't be trusted.
