Aztec Organic Pest Service

I have been using them for about a year. My expereince has been fine. They are quick to respond to me. They are thorough in their appointments.

We have not had any problems since then. The price was reasonable. The technician was knowledgeable and they used organic methods.

I liked that they used organic products. Scheduling an appointment was fine.

In the past, all services have been just fine. We have been very happy with them. The service they do on the pests seem to really work.

The best thing was the lady that owns Aztec Organic talked to me and calmed me down. She was nice and in fact I think I'm going to be friends with her. They were prompt. They came right away that same morning. One thing was the price, it was double what I could have gotten from another service because they came from Austin and I live outside of Austin. They got rid of them. It's been over a month and I haven't had any ants anywhere. They treated my yard, inside the house and outside the house. There's nothing that would hurt my cats and dogs.

I've used Aztec Organic pest control previously so I called them to have them check a house I'm putting on the market to make sure it was pest-free. They were able to accommodate my schedule and came out within 2 days. The technician was friendly and professional. I already knew I had an ant problem but wanted the tech to look for termites since he would be out there anyway. He inspected the house both inside and outside (including going under the house) and didn't find evidence of termites, then he sprayed for ants. I didn't compare Aztec's prices to other companies, and they probably weren't the cheapest, BUT they are reliable and do a good job in my opinion. I would definitely use them again.

Positive experience. Rob said it is too early in the season to effectively treat fire ants because they do not swarm till mid-April. He was very professional and helpful, recommending baits that are safe and effective, and inviting a call if assistance still needed.

The product lasts. I don't have to use it very often. It's pet friendly, and non-toxic.

When we found termites I freaked and insisted that Aztec send someone out right away. Even though they were booked they sent someone to take a look. He reassured me that we could wait until the ground was dry to treat, and termites would not eat our home completely in the meantime! He then returned a few weeks later for treatment. I like using Aztec because they use less toxic solutions. I find that their solutions are just as effective (if not more so) than traditional pest control treatments. We never had to have them visit our home more than once a year, and we rarely saw ants or roaches throughout the year. If we ask them to come out more frequently they usually talk us out of it and explain how often we really need treatment.

The exterminator explained that we should wait three weeks for maximum effectiveness. We still had prolific ants after three weeks and he returned promptly when notified and retreated a more extensive area. We actually still have ants although fewer and I believe they must be living under the house and are not crossing the barriers laid down by the exterminator. It has not yet been three weeks though, but if the ants persist I will call again for consultation and perhaps retreatment under the house. I believe our infestation is rather extreme and do not think that it is an easy one to eradicate, especially with the less toxic products used by Aztec. However, I prefer their products to the more toxic ones and am patient with the process.

Aztec has always provided excellent customer service but this time was above and beyond. If this treatment does not work, I suspect we have a puncture in our A/C duct work where they may be entering. We trust Aztec because the treatments have worked so well in past years. One time, a treatment lasted 2 years, not a single bug in that time. We are definitely Aztec customers for life!

They were excellent. What is wonderful about them is that they use organic materials so I don’t worry about poisons with dogs or children. They only come out whenever you call them, so you don’t have to buy an extended service contract. We called around and they had the best price.

He laid bait several places and came back a couple weeks later to see if the problem was resolved; it was.

They were really good! They are very responsive. They show up at the scheduled time. They use products that are child and pet friendly. They do a pretty good job of exterminating pest!

My yard seemed to be all fire ants. They were very aggressive. Aztec sent a guy who was mellow and knew exactly what he was doing. So, he did it. He vanquished the little brutes.

The service was great. Their prices are good. What I like about them particularly is that there are no contract services and they use organic products. They will come out and treat once and if I have any problems they will come back and not charge me. What I have found out is that they can treat once and I don’t have a problem for a year or more versus these chemical pest companies that come out and treat once a month. I really prefer them over any other pest service.

Overall, we're very pleased with the service we received from Aztec. We have a cat, and live in an area with lots of birds, rabbits and deer wandering through the yard, so did not want to use nasty chemicals to treat pests. We called around for a few quotes, and Aztec was reasonably priced and patient with our questions. They do not require a scheduled service contract (you can just call them when you need them), plus they were able to tell us over the phone exactly what chemicals would be used, and were knowledgeable about the issue of a certain pesticide causing issues with some cats. Service was scheduled within a reasonable period of time, and the technician, Dave, who came to the house was both friendly and professional, and answered our many questions as he worked. After a month or so we noticed that there were still occasional bugs, and called Aztec. They scheduled a follow up service at no charge, no questions asked, since it was within the warranty period. We are very satisfied with this company, and we will be using them again when the bugs come back.

It went great. They were on time, professional, and friendly. It seemed a little expensive, but that's what you receive when you buy anything organic! I felt at ease with my pets around (although I'm sure most places now dont use harmful chemicals), but this gave me peace of mind. I called them up two months later because I started seeing a new problem. I knew I was outside of my free follow up date from the first visit, but they offered it to me anyways. This company was, overall, great.

Everything went great. I would definitely recommend Aztec.

Aztec came out to help me handle a flea problem. While the root of the problem--raccoons living under the house--still remains for the time being, they treated the outdoor areas including under the house with boric acid to help reduce the population while we work on getting the raccoons out permanently. While I won't know the effectiveness of the treatment right away, the technician who came out was friendly, knowledgeable and had plenty of DIY tips for controlling the fleas inside the house. The woman who scheduled my appointment had that same friendly and helpful approach and got me an appointment quickly. They didn't recommend dusting inside the house yet--they take a very minimalist approach--don't do it unless you need to.

I was moving to a new (rented) residence that is not in a large apartment complex, so no pest control is included. I wanted something safe for small children to be around, so I called this company. I didn't expect them to drop everything and come running, and they didn't. But the wait was not unreasonable to be worked into their schedule. Afterwards, the house smelled terrific due to the mint oils in their spray. It was utterly ineffective against ants, but they cautioned this would be the case. It worked fine on everything else.

There is always a great service for a great price. They show up when they say they will and they don't talk your ear off. Simple.

They are great. We have been very pleased with them.
