Description of Work: Price was a bit high, but they were quick, efficient, showed up on time, polite, and it seemed to do the trick! For all that, plus the peace of mind that it was safe for my family and pet, I guess it was worth the price.

Repeat of the above experience,I haven't had a chance to call agupaunm but I'm inclined to switch pest control companies and Cut my losses. | |I've used Aztec in the Past with success and am disappointed.

Description of Work: Appointment time came and went. Representative called me after appointment time saying he was running late but he could still come. I had to leave but told him I would think about rescheduling. He did apologize several times. He said the earlier job took much longer than he anticipated which I understand. However, would it not have been reasonable for him to contact his office so that they could have let me know hours before? Then I could have rescheduled at that point or gone home later and not wasted my time.

Description of Work: We had an infestation of little ants in our kitchen, and as we had a toddler and a dog in the house, we wanted an organic solution. Aztec came out and treated for our ants, but unfortunately it did not solve the problem. Aztec was great about coming back (I think they came twice) to re-apply, but ultimately our the ants were persistently in our kitchen for 3 months. Eventually the ants disappeared, but from what I have read this is probably due to the ants just deciding to move to a new location. I like the concept of organic solutions for pests, but unfortunately this simply did not fix our problem. From a service perspective, Aztec was professional about coming back multiple times to re-treat... it's just too bad it didn't actually help. The next time we had an ant problem, I bought some traditional ant traps (NOT organic) at Home Depot and those fixed our problem within 24 hours.

+ -1 moreOverall my experience was positive with Aztec Pest Service. I went with Aztec, because they advertise themselves as an organic pest service. The pest control person applied a combination of Diatomaceous Earth & boric acid, I believe the product label I saw was Diatect. It has been a couple of months now, since we had this service and I would say that it has effectively stopped most pests from being able to enter our home and stay alive. These insects include centipedes, spiders, earwigs, and most ants. It did not stop little black ants, but has killed all fire ants that have tried to enter). Aztec advertises their service as usually a once a year service, which so far I would agree with. But I live in the burbs where insects aren't that bad. If you live in an area, where insects are more prevalent expect once a year to not be enough. The pest control person was kind,courteous and applied some ant bait at no additional cost to take care of a few black ants hanging around a window sill.
