This was the second time we have used this company and the results have been fantastic! We wanted quality not the cheapest. It was a great decision. Our trees have thrived and grown at an incredible rate. They are insured and use proper safety equipment. They have my higher recommendation!

The folks doing the work did a fantastic job! They offered a free estimate and quickly scheduled a service after the estimate was provided. They were prompt, quick, and safe. When they were done, they removed all of the debris. All of the cuts were sealed. The best part is they understand balance, symmetry, and natural beauty the trees offer. True arboreal artisans and masters with saws. This is the second job they have done on the trees and no doubt I will call them next year or two. Two of my neighbors were impressed with the service right after it was done.

Daniel and Kay were great at returning my calls and setting up service. The most complicated part of our job was coordination with Austin Energy who are notoriously unresponsive. ATE was great at securing communication with AE and coordinating work. On the easy stuff (e.g., pruning) ATE are fantastic. They were able to get us on the schedule quickly for some trimming that needed to be done ASAP. Daniel really knows his stuff and it shows. The office does a good job of responding to e-mails. We hope to use them again for our tree needs.

The tree removal went extremely well, and their price was less than half of what I was quoted by another service. The stump grinding didn't go as well. He had to use a smaller machine in order to get it through the gate. He "finished" and left. When I inspected the result, it was not nearly acceptable, so I called and they sent the man back to finish the job on another day. The result on the stump grind is satisfactory, if not really good. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience and would hire them again.

Excellent service and performance and overall expertise in tree care

From beginning to end they communicated well with me. Some of my available dates changed and they worked around my changing schedule. I was impressed with there straight forward diagnosis about my sick tree (Arizona Ash) and the potential harmful scenarios that could have happened at anytime. The crew was on time and they cleaned up the yard and neighbors yard as well. I was impressed. I think the price was good and fair for the amount of work I had done.

They showed up exactly on time for the estimate and emailed the estimate the same day. They told me they were backed up on trimming jobs and would be a couple of weeks before they could do it. We arranged a time and they came promptly on that day 8am. They cut down the tree and remove the limbs and branches on one day and usually come back the next Friday with the stump grinder. They grind up the stump with dirt and leave enough so the hole is filled in. I asked them to remove the surface roots and I would fill those holes with pure soil myself. I had several medium sized bushes and a smaller tree under the tree they removed and none of them were damaged.

I took off work to come meet them. I had left instructions for them to call when they were ready to come, shortly after noon. I gave them about half an hour past their scheduled time, and called. It took about another hour or two of calling and call backs to find out that they would not be coming that day. By the it was too late to return to work, so I lost half a day vacation time. OK, so their schedule got messed up. Their managers should have been able to tell me right away that they would not be able to make it. If I hadn't called, I would probably have waited all afternoon. But the worst part is that THEY SENT US A BILL!. Then after we contacted them and reminded them that they didn't actually come, they SENT ANOTHER PAYMENT DUE NOTICE. Such a shame that the management is so inept. We used them in the past and the workers who came out were excellent. I don't plan on using them again.

The initial communications were great. I submitted my questions via the form on the website and had a response within a couple of days. I set up an appointment for Daniel to stop by on 8/1 to look at the space and make some suggestions. He showed up on time and was knowledgeable. He said he'd follow-up with a quote. I hadn't heard anything by 8/6 so I followed up with an email to Daniel and the office. I never heard back from either so I called about a week later around 8/15. Kay (in the office) said she'd follow up with Daniel. I still hadn't heard anything by 8/22 so I called the office again. Kay said she assumed that Daniel had followed-up with me. She suggested I contact Daniel so I sent another email and voicemail to Daniel. It's 8/29 and still nothing so I'm giving up and moving on.

The crew was gracious and responsive to our questions and requests throughout. Our trees and our yard looked great when they left! Leaving the yard clean was no small task and we were impressed with how smoothly they did it. And the price was less than two other quotes! We have used them before and will use them again.

The top reason for recommending them would be that they are on Angie's List. They took a little bit too long. They gave me $50 for Angie's List membership.

your format is messed up - let me know if this doesn't go through Trimmed two live oaks that were scraping my roof. Trimmed five trees that needed lower limbs removed. All contacts were courteous and professional. An estimate was completed and the gentleman provided info about each tree and what was best for them. A copy of the estimate was emailed to me the same day. The workmen were unable to get to my house as originally scheduled, but the office called well in advance. The appt was rescheduled for the next day. They arrived on time. They worked on the trees as requested and sealed the end of each branch trimmed. They took away all the cut limbs and other remnants, leaving nothing behind.

This is the second time we have used this company Each timed has been excellent. Their prices are reasonable and they are responsive when needed. I will use them again and would recommend them to my friends and family.

I usually do the pruning of these tree's but this year decided to pay for professionals. I was able to get a quote without having to be present, one of their arborist (Daniel) drove by my home and sent me a quote via email. I agreed to the price and set up an appointment time (all via email, a nice perk for a desk jock). I was not present during the actual trimming of the trees, so when I got home the day of the trimming, I was shocked. The trees looked very different. We had never done a professional trimming so I was not sure if the look was good or bad. Well, the neighbors let me know real quick. Two neighbors commented on how "good" the trees looked and who had worked on them. Well that pretty much settled it. They definitely look more healthy now. Just an FYI to someone new to getting tree services, like I was. I got a quote from another tree service company that was double the price I paid. I normally handle the trimming so paying $200 seemed a little pricey, but I think in general Austin Tree Service charges very competitively and they definitely seem to do quality work. From their office staff, arborist, and the actual service, everything was pretty impressive.

Daniel was great to meet with & he answered all my questions. The tree trimming results were great, all the debris was removed & we couldn't even tell they were there. The stump removal went well onsite, however the discrepancy with the invoice took a little while to resolve. But in the end they got the invoice corrected. I will defiantly use them again.

ice Daniel inspected the live oak that is having problems and gave a couple of options for dealing with it. Tara also came out to give us details on fertilization program and photinia removal. Both were very knowledgeable and patiently answered our questions. We have one live oak that is ailing and, after discussing with Daniel and Tara, we decided to try to save it. The were accommodating about waiting to do service until foliage was out on the oak. Fertilization team came when scheduled an did first treatment. I can't judge how good a job they did, but the tree definitely has more foliage than last year. Pruning team came when scheduled and professionally pruned two trees and cut down a big dead photinia bush. They did a fine job and cleaned up nicely. We were scheduled as the last job for the stump grinding team on a Friday, but they ran into problems on an earlier call and did not make it to us. I was waiting for them to show up, so I would have liked to receive a phone message that they could not make it. The problem was easily straightened out the next day and they arrived as scheduled first thing Monday morning and did a good job grinding the stump. All in all we are pleased with the work that was done and I consider the scheduling problem just one of those things that happen occasionally with even the best service providers.

Daniel came to house and evaluated work to be done. He was very clear in his recommendations and patientlyt answered all of my questions. he actually encouraged me to do less work than I was requesting in order to insure tree health. Came to do work as scheduled. I could not be present but he notified me when the crew arrived and also called two more times to seek my approval for a couple of specific procedures. I could not have been more pleased with the final results and the professional way the project unfolded. Will certainly use again.

Found Austin Tree Experts on Angie's List and was impressed by owner and staff credentials. Daniel visited for an estimate, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and communicated well before and after the work was done. He met the team the morning of my job to review details of the work before departing and came by afterward to review the work. The trimmers did a nice job, cleaned up fairly well, and impressively returned all of our backyard items (pots, toys, etc.) to their exact locations after the work was performed. A crew came out a second time to remove a few additional limbs Daniel and I agreed should be removed. The price was very competitive and I was scheduled within two weeks. I, and a colleague I recommended Austin Tree Experts to, both experienced a few communication misses with the office staff, but they seemed nice and it ultimately wasn't an issue. (I had no idea the second crew was coming by when they arrived, for instance.) Also, my previous trimmers removed all of the ball moss in my trees, so I assumed Austin Tree Experts would as well. They cleaned up most of it, but Daniel informed me that it would be an additional charge to remove all of it. Because it isn't a health issue for the trees, I'm ok with them remaining. All-in-all, Austin Tree Experts' service was a nice value.

After all the good reviews I was very disappointed that the provider did not show up on time. I specifically asked to be the first appointment of the day and scheduled it out more than a week so my husband and I could meet with the arborist before going to work. The earliest they could do was 9:00, which still put us late for work, but we were able to schedule around the time. Kay called me only 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment to tell me that the arborist would be 30 minutes late to the appointment. Now 5 minutes I can understand, but 30 minutes is unacceptable especially considering their office is just minutes away from my house. If right out of the box they are going to be unprofessional, I'll work with someone else that has a little more respect for our time.

Daniel came by to give us a bid. He was on time and professional. He offered a very fair price for the services and scheduled it for the next week. The crew was great too! On time and very professional. They cleaned up everything!! Thanks!
