Not only were they competitive on their pricing they gave me a detailed print out of the estimate and answered all of my questions on the spot. The technician came to my home the same week; they were not only on time but very thorough and informative. The work was completed the same day and there were no hidden costs or charges. I trust Austin Refrigeration and would recommend them to anyone that is looking for quality work at a completive price.

Great service! I had three companies give me estimates on a new HVAC system and chose Austin Refrigeration because they were reasonably priced and very informative. Not only that but they were ON TIME! My comfort advisor, Joel , didn't try to push anything on me and I really appreciated that. Unlike the other companies that came to my house, Austin Refrigeration was open and honest from the start. They even gave me quotes on two different types of systems so I could do some research on my own before making a decision. I don't like pushy salespeople and Joel was anything but. He had printed menus for all the options so I could look and understand what the differences were. One thing that really stuck out was their pricing. Although they weren't the cheapest ( I think the less expensive guy was a one man show) they had everything priced on the menu with the options. I thought it was weird that the other companies just wrote prices on a sheet of paper, it was like they were figuring out how much they could make or something. I know that the price I got was competitive but more importantly it is the same price all their customers get ( although I got an angie's list discount!!). Beautifully! We have done business with this company for the past 27 years. We had a retail furniture store and warehouse in Austin, a home in Dripping Springs, and two cabins in Llano, and we have used them for all of our heating and air conditioning needs. If we ever had AC problems, they would be out promptly and fix whatever was wrong so our customers wouldn't be uncomfortable in summer or winter. They did all of our HVAC in both of our cabins and made numerous 200 mile roundtrips to get the job done...before and during construction. They advised us on size, capacity, gas vs electric (we did both!), placing of units inside and out, and great duct work to maximize efficiency. When we would be tired and frustrated, they would lighten the mood and stay as long as needed to complete a task. We 100% recommend this company for all HVAC needs!

From their timely permit issuance to final inspection I can not think of one thing I could request further from them. Very proffesional and worked GREAT with my customers needs and wishes.

We called Austin Refrigeration because our heater was malfunctioning. They told us someone would be out as soon as possible and he arrived within the hour! They replaced a small part on the heater and cleaned a sensor and we were back up and running. They were prompt, professional and very reasonable. I would definitely call them again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Our expectations were definitely met.They were on time and courteous. They showed professional customer service. They respected our home and cleaned up after themselves when they were done. They answered all of my questions and explained the system thoroughly to us.

Mark McCandless, the owner, was there to assist and orchestrated the entire process very professionally. On top of that, the price was substantially lower than two other bids for same brand of a five ton unit. The other day I called ARI about a problem and a guy was there within 30 minutes.....on a Saturday. As it turned out, the power had accidentally been shut off. They refused to charge me. I have told my friends about ARI for a long time and I have ALWAYS heard that they do a great job for them as well. These guys are wonderful. I have used ARI over the last 10 years for lots of HVAC problems on numerous properties. I wouldn't even think about using another company. Now, if I can just find a plumber of the same caliber!

Overall customer service experience was great. Responded to our needs in a timely manner and actually took the time to explain a few things about my hvac system, All is well and they provide a great warranty for the price. Will use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs fast service
