Austin Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

This is a service I get done by Austin Refrigeration, often when they are in my area, doing an installation, they will give me a call. Since I am no longer in Austin but love and trust this company, I still continue to use them when they give me a call I do my best to make an appointment when they are in town, This was my last free tune up, next when I renew it is only 129. The owner took care of a previous house I owned when I lived in Austin. Always gave me reasonable rates and service within a decent time frame.

As always Austin Refrigeration did a good job taking care of me as a customer. I have been a customer for years now. I always feel like I am treated like family. I will continue to use them for service, their cost is always reasonable. And when this old beast dies, (THE AC SYSTEM) I plan to use them for replacing the system. I have recommended them to a few friends and they too were satisfied, not sure what Austin Refrigeration did for them, but they never called me to complain.

I purchased this agreement approximately 7 or 8 months ago, when I choose them to com out and due a tune up on the ac. I was relieved they remembered to call to remind me of my last free check up, cause I had long forgot about it. Guys came out on time, wore booties and did the check well

I called in, from ad on google. They came answered the phone courteously and were able to give me a prompt response. They came out and I appreciated the service that they provided, I have had other companies come out and leave in 20-40 minutes. I don't understand what Im paying for when I get 20 minutes of service! It took them about an hr to do the complete evaluation. I am giving them the A because I did compare prices for Maint. Plans and this seemed the most reasonable for the value and discount ts they give. And now I am sure since they took the time look over the service!

I'm a long time customer, they do thorough inspections and take their time at every visit. Every Experience I have with them has been responsive and affordable

I was impressed by the clean job that they did, this is not the first installation in this home because I have lived here for years, this is the second replacement, this job went way smoother than I remembered the last replacement went, I had no idea that it could be done much more efficiently. they had the entire system replaced in one day! I will use them for service, and If I out live this one, I will use them again when it is time to replace. I also have a rental and plan on using them for service and anything needed there.

They did a great Job on our install so i did purchase a preventative maint. agreement They do good quality work, I was impressed, they had drop cloths, booties and were very fast!

I called them out as I have before in the past, used em years, my parents do as well. The office got me on the schedule that day and they found the control board fried. Removed the part from my attic and brought it down to be. Very obvious. They told me they could replace it and that possibly may have another issues as sometimes this is caused by something els but they had to get my system up and running first. They ordered the board came out the next day and replaced it. And thank goodness no other problems. Got it up and going and well the wife's happy! Recommend.

They were out at a neighbors house, so I asked my neighbor how it went, she told me she has been using them for over 3 years and hasn't ever had issues. So I called them, ( I just moved in here ) I purchased a Maint. agreement. They came out yesterday, checked over all of my system which now I know is gas as a 3.5 Ton. So they were informative, my system is only 4 years old so nothing was really suggested, but he did give me tips on maintaining to keep the longevity going. I will have them out again before summer to do the maintenance, But for what they did yesterday, I couldn't believe the second check would be free. and if anything does fail, They have now made me a priority customer with 10% off all normal rates. Which is nice to know because we have twins, so all our funds are tied up! I will follow up in summer and let you know how it goes then as well.

Well they did have the first go at the quote, because I have used them for service two three times. I did price check, and got quotes from others, There was a more affordable one but they didn't offer the two year standard labor that Austin Refrigeration does, and they gave a free preventative maint. I have and a good experience when them, they just did the heat service in January They told me they joined Angie's List, so I did!

Did a full tune up, company was on time and I will use them again in the future, the service man was courteous and wore booties! Thanks Austin Refrigeration

My business was hit by a hail storm and it caused my RTU's to have issues, leaks in coils due to the hail impact. I got several quotes and though this is something my insurance covered, Mr. Mc Candless and his office staff fought for over two months for the proceeds to help me with the replacement. None of the other companies offered to help with proving that the damage was due to hail. Not to mention all the other bids we well over 40K . He understood that I did not have the time or the cash to pay for it or the time to argue with the insurance company.A Licensed contractor who definetly went out of the way to help me have my units replaced at no cost to me. I recommend anyone with hail damage to call, they are experts at this hail and proving that once an ac is damaged by hail, it can never be recovered to pre storm condition. He earned this installation not only because of the price but the hard work and efforts of his staff for me to receive the payout!

Austin Refrigeration greatly exceeded my needs and expectations! The tenant in this building was running two shifts and could not afford to have any of its production down during a weekday. So to accommodate this tenant's needs AR arrived at dawn, with its company owned crane, removed the two existing commercial HVAC package units and fully installed two new units that day. When they left the property both units were running perfectly. The general manager for the Tenant was at the site during a portion of the work and was extremely complementary of the pace and quality or work along with the continuous communication provided by AR. Austin Refrigeration did a great job while keeping my tenant happy! It doesn't get any better than this!

I called Austin Refrigeration, The office staff was friendly, and they service man showed up in a timely manner (Shane and a another guy) They quickly found the problem to be my blower motor, and they showed me where and what had went wrong. I am glad they explained everything to me, I was impressed, they even wore booties when they came in, which was thoughtful and I will use them again in the future. They had a universal motor they were able to fix it on the spot, me service call was waived with repairs.

Came recommended by my Son, He lives in Round Rock, While I live in Mcdade. He has used them for service for years, so he suggested I call and I told them that my Son was their customer, They looked him up and I too got treated fabulous. I had already received quotes on the HVAC replacement but I am on a budget, they got me a price far less expensive than the other two I had. They cam all the way out to do the replacement and things went smooth. I even got a deal for 12 mos. Interest free which helped with the remainder of what I could not afford at the moment. Thanks guys, Today went well I am a satisfied customer and I will recommend you to anyone who may need replacement.

Our system was freezing over, Had another service provider come out and diagnosed our system as dirty coil said they would clean it for over 550 dollars They also mentioned it could cause leaks to clean my coil, which I thought was weird, called around, Austin Refrigeration got the job done! and the rate was muuuch more affordable for the work.

Called me as always, to set up my maintenance ( I have used them for over 10 years now) renewed the contract and just wanted to shout out to everyone what a great job this company has done for me in the last 10 years. The office is professional and kind, and have even allowed me to make payment arrangements when times were very hard for me and my family. I couldn't recommend a better HVAC company for service or installation. I have referred my friends and family for years, and they too have been satisfied.

I have used them for maintenance for about three years. I recently had my unit just shutting off, so I called them and as always the office was professional got a service man out quickly and he found that my float switch was faulty, thinking my pan was full when in fact it wasn't, he showed me the pan was no full and so he replaced the part and I was all fixed! This was the first repair, I am satisfied and recommend them.

Found them on google, and their reviews seemed good, So I purchased a maintenance plan. Office staff did a good job calling to remind me to set up my inspection, technician who came out, Shane, was responsive and he informed me of a few things but overall my system was good. First Time I have used them, but it was a pleasant experience.

Referred from a friend in the neighbor who lives in Georgetown as well. I called the office with and after hour emergency, They responded right away and got someone out to my house to see what they could do to fix the problem. They found my compressor outside to be completely burnt out, as well as showed me areas where there has possible leaks due to oil being on spot of my coils indoor. Basically it was apparent to be irreparable for the systems age and condition so I decided to replace the entire system. I let them give me a quote to replace which is a large expense in my opinion, so of course I got some other quotes. The quotes were all a bit higher and did not offer the same warranty that Austin Refrigeration did. So I went with their company, and everything that I expected to be done was done professionally, quickly, and most importantly they cleaned up after themselves and explained my system, provided me how to work my system and gave me all my warranty information on the carrier system I purchased.

When it got cold we realized that our heating was less than perfect. We have a three month old son and wanted to make sure we had everything fixed right. Although noone ever wants to have to spend excess money , especially after having a baby, Austin Refrigeration made it as painless as possible. We got an extremely efficient Carrier system and a wifi enabled Carrier Core thermostat. I couldn't be happier. They even got us 36mos financing at 0% , which really made a difference to me and my wife. They didn't treat us like second rate citizens because we couldnt afford to pay cash upfront. They just had an office person call us and we had the financing set up within an hour. It was so great, I have heard horror stories about HVAC companies . If you want great service and a great office staff to deal with, call these guys.

I called a few companies and they were not the most affordable but definitely more affordable than other companies I called around. Some wanted almost 90.00 I needed to get the heat tune up done for my tenants. My tenants received a call after I gave authorization to go out, set everything up, called me when they completed and my tenants said be was thorough and gave them some maint. tips. Definitely recommend them to anyone who is a landlord and on a budget.

I had water overflowing onto my sheet rock, ruining my ceiling. I called so many companies and no one was available. Austin Refrigeration Squeezed me into their schedule same day due to it being an emergency, They replaced a drain that was rusted, and thank goodness my problem is solved I also feel like it was reasonable prices considering I am pretty far from their office.( Their service tech lived in San Marcos) so they made a consideration. Thanks Austin Refrigeration!

Office Staff was very professional and actually did give me a courtesy call ahead of time. My system isnt too old so the repair in my opinion was done fast, and they gave me a warranty! The warranty is two years when actually the part is only one! They as a company gave me a year additional.

This was for a rental house, so I found Austin Refrigeration on google, and I was surprised by the price difference and additional warranties they give in comparison to some of the quotes, was astonishing and almost upsetting to see what some of the HVAC companies are charging. The original company I had went out for 39.99 Service Call, and then quoted me over 1100 to replace it. After comparing, I definetly recommend them and hope they continue to be honest service me, there are very few left.
