Description of Work: They replaced some tile flooring, did a kitchen back splash and some demolition work for a kitchen remodel. They also installed a shower stall. They showed up when they said they would, were very pleasant and considerate and were nice to work with.

Description of Work: Removed popcorn ceiling in two bedrooms, retextured and painted the ceiling in both rooms and painted the walls in one bedroom. Project went great. We were coordinating the popcorn removal with the installation of new carpet and this presented some logistical problems since we had to move out of the master bedroom and into the guest bedroom which was the other room to be recarpeted. Brad worked closely with us to make sure everything was done in a timely fashion. Marco, the painter on our job, was great to work with, was very courteous and professional. Great experience overall.

Description of Work: I had a large wallpaper removal and painting job on my home in order to put in on the market. Brad was punctual about meeting with me in this busy time and got back to me after just a few days with his competitive bid. Unfortunately my realtor also contacted someone she knew who was able to start immediately, so we contracted with them. I was overall impressed with Brad and would have used him for my job time not been so critical.

Description of Work: 2 painters for day. But first of all the owner brought only one worker without any explanation. The guy did good job, but didn't finish the job. Next day nobody came, so show no call for a week. One guy came the mid day after calling the owner several times. But the guy did only thE half job. The next day, again no show no call and . Nobody show up until following week. The owner didn't have enough worker but took job I guess. They did fine job, but had other issue.

Description of Work: Austin Jones painted 4 rooms in my home. The services were superior, were provided as scheduled, and completed on time. In fact, they offered to work through the weekend to get it finished early. Our painter was amazing and worked without stopping for 3 days. We will definitely use them again.

+ 0 moreThere were a number of rain delays but Brad kept me informed about this and new dates were scheduled. Brad came out and reviewed the work his team performed and checked with me about my satisfaction. I would use him again for future work.
Description of Work: Brad and team were contracted to replace all the trim on my house with Harditrim. During the work there was a problem found on the chimney that required a lot more work. The work was completed as advertised.

+ 0 moreOverall an unhappy and disappointing experience that went on too long. Some members of the various crews that came in to do the work were not skilled at their jobs. The grouting of the tile has many problems even though some of it was done over up to three times at my request. In some places the slab is visible but in others the grout sticks up above the tiles; bits of the darker glue are visible in the grout in some places. Some of the tiles were poorly cut/shaped; I did not make a final payment on the shower until portions of it were completely redone. When this crew arrived, I had to provide a heavy duty extension cord and a multiple outlet power strip before they could set up their tile cutter which of course were never returned. Tile waste was repeatedly piled over an underground sprinkler head even though I uncovered it every time my watering day came up. When the old bathtub was removed, dents were made in the wall in a couple of places. I paid an extra $500 for the moving of large pieces of furniture; items were scratched because of illogical stacking, a taller piece was pushed right into the ceiling fan, and a corner chipped on my family heirloom piano because of the haphazard way the furniture was handled. The fellow who came in to repair the ceiling, install quarter round, and replace the fence was the most competent and efficient although he did use several fence panels that were cracked (replaced at my request). One painter knew what he was doing and seems to have done a good job except for paint on the living room ceiling fans, and I think that may have happened because the other one did not wrap them well. The really bad news about the second fellow is that he took my Visa card and managed to charge $700 in pool halls and liquor stores in the two days before he was stopped. When garbage day arrived, I also discovered that my City of Austin recycle and garbage bins as well as my yard clippings bin were stuffed with the painters' drop cloths. By the end of this project, I just wanted these people out of my house and sight!
Description of Work: Carpet removed from throughout the house and replaced with ceramic tile; same tile installed over sheet vinyl flooring in kitchen, bathrooms, utility room. One bathtub removed and replaced with ceramic tile (matching floor) step-in shower. Holes (from previous lighting) in kitchen ceiling repaired. Ceilings throughout the house painted. One bathroom vanity top replaced; some repair made to end of vanity cabinet. Seventy linear feet of fencing replaced in backyard.

+ 2 moreOutstanding! Our house was 2/3 old masonite siding, so this was a lot of work. Brad's crew worked it in sections in order to minimize the disruption caused by taking our house apart. They did an excellent job and Brad was very easy to access and the crew would immediately correct any problems found. Brad ended up doing more work to the house then originally bid but never changed his price!! The house looks incredible! And the TYVEC and Hardie Plank have made a huge difference in our energy bills. Since then Brad has also built us a deck, tiled our patio and demolished our kitchen in prep for our remodeling. He is a professional and gets the job done right!
Description of Work: Removed existing Masonite siding, wrapped house in Tyvec, Installed HARDIE Plank Lap Siding. Painted house in two colors. Hauled off debris. Replaced cedar boards as needed.
